Following Items are recommended in the Aluminum Repair Program
1. Dedicated aluminum MIG welding system
• Specification: Welder must be 220v and equipped with Pulse MIG Technology.
2. Dedicated aluminum hand & power tools
• Speci ication:Asmallhandtoolkitthatcontainsallneededtoolshasbeendeveloped.
3. Dedicated aluminum dent extraction system
• Specification: Dent extraction system must contain an aluminum stud welder, heat gun, pyrometer,
aluminum hammers and dent extraction system.
4. Dedicated aluminum Wet Mix air filtration system
• Specification: Dust extraction system must be a Wet Mix technology system and can be a portable or
central installed system.
5. Work area separation / isolated system
• Specification: Work separation can be an aluminum separation (curtain) system or a separate room.
Aluminum vehicles undergoing repairs must be able to be separated from vehicles undergoing steel
repairs.
6. Specialized aluminum SPR rivet gun
• Specification: Currently only the Henrob and Pro Spot SPR riveters are approved.
