Fusion Transition
Welcome to CBRMLS Fusion. Supported Browsers: Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer Supported OSs: Mac, Windows Required: Adobe Flash Player (Visit www.wdwpy.com for instructions or click the Fusion Setup Guide on the Welcome Screen in Fusion) Web Address: cbrmls.fusionmls.com Username/Password: Same as Tempo Major Enhancements in Fusion: • Cross-browser and cross-platform: Internet Explorer is no longer the only supported browser. Windows and Macintosh are now supported • Editable Polygons: Reshape and move polygons after they are first created • Client Gateway email notices: agents can choose to have Fusion send an email notifying them that a client saved a listing on the Client Gateway (Contact Website) • Bulk Photo Upload: Listing photos can be uploaded en masse. All 25 photos can be uploaded at the same time. • Photo Editing within Add/Edit: Photos can be cropped, rotated and contrast/brightness corrected right within Fusion. • Improved Photo Rearrange: Photos can now easily be reorganized with a simple drag & drop interface. • Preview Listing on Add/Edit: See the information you have entered for new listings before they go live. • Tabbed Searching: Agents can open multiple searches in tabs within Fusion. Each search will open in it’s own tab. The tabs will remain on the search page until they are closed by the user. • Customizable Homepage: Agents can choose which “gadgets” appear and in what order on their homepage. • Dynamic Matched Listings on Map: Listings that match current criteria are immediately displayed on the integrated map. As you ad criteria, the map updates and zooms to the matched properties. • Email Templates: Use any of the predefined templates for email to clients, or create your own template for “new clients” or “follow up emails”. Use your browser of choice: Editable Polygons: Need to Change the Shape or Location of that Polygon? No Problem! Gateway Email Notices: Can Tempo email me when my client saves a listing as a favorite or possibility? No. But Fusion can! Bulk Photo Upload & Drag and Drop Photo Rearrange: Upload all 25 photos at once then rearrange the order in a simple drag and drop interface. The way it always should have been! Preview New Listing on Add/Edit: When you’re entering a new listing on the MLS, it would be nice to see the information you have entered before you submit the listing. You can! Just click the “Listing Summary” button. Preview the fields you changed, before they go live on the MLS. Photo Editing in Add/Edit: Too Light? Too Dark? Picture’s upside down? Need to Crop out the For Sale sign? No problem. You can do it right in Fusion. Tabbed Searches: Multitasker’s dream. You can have your Residential search open, and open your Land search, and open another Residential search...all in the same window. Dynamic Matched Listing Updates on Map: Show me what listing match RIGHT NOW! Every time you add criteria, the listing count changes. So does the display on the map. You see only the matching listings. WARNING: Any changes made in Fusion will be available in Tempo and vice versa. Listings should not be re-entered in Tempo after they are entered in Fusion. They will automatically appear in both systems when entered in one or the other. Changes are live, immediate, and permanent. All rules, policies and data maintenance fees that apply to Tempo MLS data are in effect on Fusion MLS. Frequently Asked Questions: Functions in Tempo Only: These functions will be added to Fusion in the future, but are currently Tempo-only. • Financial Functions: Amortization, Qualification and other financials are not yet part of Fusion. • CMA Wizard: Only the Quick CMA and Comp Summary CMAs are available in Fusion. Users who wish to create a CMA Wizard report will need to login to Tempo and use the CMA Wizard. • Business Reports: Agent Market Share, Agent Productivity, Inventory and other statistical reports will be available only in Tempo at this time. • Report Editor: Agents who wish to modify or create customized reports must do so in Tempo. • History Search: There is no direct History Search function in Fusion. However, the New Archive report and History report can be accessed from the Print dialog box. It appears at the bottom of the list of reports and can be printed for any property. For a full history search, Tempo History search is still available. What is Fusion? Fusion MLS is the “new Tempo”. Fusion will run “side-by-side” with Tempo for now. In the coming months, Tempo will be phased out. (learn more in the “When Does Tempo ‘Go Away?’” section below). This new version of Marketlinx MLS software will allow for cross-platform functionality on many browsers. This means that Mac users and PC users can choose which browser they want to use to access the MLS. Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox and Chrome (latest versions) are all supported. Fusion uses Adobe Flash software. This means that only computers that have the latest version of Flash installed will be able to use Fusion. There is potential that other OS’s and Browsers “might” work if they have an up-to-date version of Flash installed. This is, however, unsupported. That means that if you use an “unsupported” browser or operating system (Linux, Opera, etc) you are not guaranteed functionality. In fact, if you call technical support, they will not be able to assist you with any problems you may encounter when using an “unsupported” browser or operating system. When Does Tempo “Go Away”? Fusion will eventually replace Tempo as the only access to MLS database. However, this will not happen for several months. The MLS staff highly recommends that you immediately begin using Fusion and become acquainted with it. There are many new features and a completely new interface with new screens, new buttons, and new locations for many of the standard features. Are Fusion and Tempo “separate”? No. Any change made to a listing in Fusion OR Tempo will be made to the SAME DATABASE at the same time. Fusion and Tempo will run concurrently for several months. This means that Fusion and Tempo are “front ends” or “user interfaces” for the same database. If you change the list price in Tempo, you are changing it in Fusion at the same time. You do not need to make the change on both systems separately. There is ONLY ONE DATABASE. Listings can be added and modified in Fusion or Tempo. Prospects can be added or modified in Fusion or Tempo. Email can be sent, reports printed, and custom searches created in Fusion or Tempo. All changes will appear in both simultaneously (same database). Will Fusion Work on my iPad? Yes. Fusion requires Adobe Flash. Flash is no longer supported by Adobe for iPad or Android tablets. The app is called “Fusion Experience”. It is not exactly the same as the Fusion MLS website but will allow full Fusion functionality on the iPad. Users should note that Fusion Experience is much slower than computer-based Fusion. Further, the use of a “virtual mousepad and keyboard” (included in App) is required. Marketlinx is working on an Android version of Fusion Experience for later in 2012. This app is designed specifically for iPad and (later, q3 2012) Android TABLETS. It is not expected to work on iPhone or any Android phone. Users who wish to access the MLS on a smartphone should use Kurio which is currently available. ©2012mrw-rev20120323
