to choose from. Romppai’s offers you everything from color, blade size, bead size right down to hook style and size including length of mono or wire, right down to there tensile strength. All our jigs, Spoons, Weight forward Spinner
heads, Lead and brass Spinner Bodies, Lead Worm Weight, Bait Walkers, Bottom Bouncers, Quick Change
Weights, And More. Their paints are baked on at 350 degrees to ensure that the fisherman receives a product that
is virtually chip resistant. And the best part, moey can buy, all attachment eyes have been opened for you. All
hooks are top quality from Eagle Claw, VMC, Mustad, StandOUT, Tru-Turn and Daiichi. We also use top quality lure components that must meet our specifications.

the fisherman's specification, example; hook style and size, blade color and size, bead color and size, without having to
pay a custom fee. We also offer those specialty lures for Weddings, Family Reunions, Retirement Parties, Businesses and
more. Like a Spinner with a 24 kt. gold or Genuine silver Blade engraved with your name and date with only $3.00 extra
engraving fee per item, or just have the packaging labeled with name and date at $ 0.25 extra charge per item. Minimum

What's the Reason for
Blood Red Hooks?
During extensive underwater testing, it was found that every species in the test tank would strike dark red more
than any other color combined. This dark red color simulates the Gill Flash of feeding fish. This is what stimulates
the natural feeding response.

paints. This is especially helpful when air-brushing to prevent clogging of the gun and for more uniform distribution

We've developed a new line of paint that produces a true-color glow up to 5
times brighter and many times longer than our traditional glow colors! The
Super Glow line of paints requires less recharging and will keep a consistent
afterglow for up to 4 hours, meaning greater attraction in dark conditions. All
our heat and Dip powder paints are also now available in 2oz or 1lbs plastic

Our Deluxe Glow in the Dark Beads are available in 2 sizes, 5 & 6 mm. (in gray below) we dropped the other sizes for now, do to low demand, These

We have recently had this vice Manufactured solely for Romppai’s
in highest quality like Renzzet / Dyna King. These sell up words of
$500.00 or more. This Romppai’s fly tying vice sells at a fraction of
the cost. Our Vice is made of Aluminums which is very light weight
for travelers. Our vice is also extendable and we supply a free
separate stem to make the vice pole longer.
Vice is totally made of Aluminum (Light Weight) comfortable for
travelers.
Jaw is made of hard stainless steel which grip hook very nicely.
Pole height can be increased as we give a separate stems for
extension. Pedestal base is heavy weight which grip vise handle
nicely. Table Clamp is also available to clamp to a table as many
people want to carry the vise on journeys but do not want to carry
the heavy base. Arm handle turns on ball bearing to make the
rotation smooth.
The key is that the hook can be fixed very safe and that it stays
on the same point while turning the arm.

Worm Care
If you're a fisherman you know the effectiveness of night crawlers and worms on freshwater fish! It would be very difficult
to name a more effective bait. No matter how you use a worm, knit it on a hook, finesse rigging, jigs or tipping the trailer
hook of hard body baits, the worm will increase your catch ratio. With many provinces and states limiting the use of other
live baits, the demand for worms increases each year along with the price. Many anglers are picking and growing their own
worms, so Wonder Worm would like to pass along some basic worm care instructions.
NATIVE WORMS
Native worms or wild worms are not ordinarily raised commercially except for the Canadian dew worm. There are dew worms,
leaf
worms, drift worms, dug worms, pink worms, grunt worms to name only a few. Regardless of the name all native worms do the
same job; they aerate the soil with tunnels, allowing water to penetrate to the plant roots. They supply organic humus with
their castings feeding plant roots. Native worms also help prevent commercial fertilizers from leaching and will also hold
down water run-off after a rain fall.
WONDER WORM BEDDING
Wonder Worm Bedding has been especially formulated for worms to keep them healthy and lively. Did you know worms have a
gullet? Well Wonder Worm Bedding has the ingredients to help worms digest their food. This is an ingredient that most other
beddings do not contain. Fill your container or Wonder Worm Bait Box to the desired level, add water (distilled if available
- if not, use tap water) until the bedding is moist, not wet. When you squeeze a few drops of water from the bedding, it is
ready. Put your worms on top of the bedding and they will burrow their way to the bottom of the box. Any worms that do not
burrow down into the bedding after approximately twenty minutes should be removed as they are either unhealthy or dead and
could spread mold or disease to the other worms.
Mold is a killer of worms. If you are not going to use your worms for an extended period of time, make sure you turn the
bedding every two to three days to prevent mold from forming and lightly sprinkle water on the surface of the bedding every
couple of days or when needed. Store your container of worms in a cool dry place.
If you are going on an extended trip and cannot keep the worms cool, put some ice cubes or crushed ice in a poly bag and lay
the bag on top of the bedding or if possible surround the bait container with ice bags.
FEEDING WORMS WITH WONDER WORM FOOD
Worms grow faster, healthier and remain more active when fed regularly. Wonder Worm Food contains all the necessary food
elements for worms to maintain freshness and increase their life span. Spread the food over the bedding sparingly. Wet the
food until moist or if your bedding is too moist simply sprinkle the food on top without wetting.
When the food disappears from the top of the bedding, replenish in the same manner. As a guide, apply Wonder Worm Food at a
rate of 20 grams per 100 worms, 10 grams per 50 worms, 5 grams per 25 worms an so on.

Grow Your Own
Worms need space to burrow and grow drainage and good oxygen circulation, so make sure you have enough area
in your worm bed to allow the worms to eat and multiply. Generally, worm beds support 1 to 3 pounds of worms
per square foot of surface area. Worms feed on the surface so bed depth doesn't matter when calculating the
number of worms to be added to the bed. Outdoor beds should be at least 12 inches deep but no more than 16 inches deep. Depending on what is used for bedding any bed deeper than 16 inches may start to composed, heat up and
cause the worms to crawl out or to the surface. Either way the worms are lost. If no composed material is being
used then the bed can be dug to 3 feet deep.
A worm bin is a smaller container generally used in the home for vermicomposting. These bins are kept indoors
safe from extreme conditions such as heat, cold and rain. A worm bed is generally kept or built outdoors for larger
quantities of worms. These beds can be made from a variety of materials, untreated lumber, bricks, concrete or
cinder blocks. Avoid wood such as pine, cedar and redwood as they contain compounds and resins that can kill the
worms. Pine absorbs water and softens allowing the worms to eat through the wood. Yes, worms under certain conditions will eat wood. The wood has to be soft, wet and mushy.
If you chose to use a container for a bed, almost anything can be used. As a young boy a buddy and I used an old
unused coffin as a bed. We drilled some holes in the bottom for drainage, filled it with good earth, dug up a bunch
of worms put them in and we grew worms all summer for our fishing trips to the local river. It worked very well.
Other containers could be barrels, washtubs, old discarded refrigerators (without the door) or non-toxic plastic bins.
Be sure to drill holes in the bottom to allow the rain to drain and provide oxygen flow to the bed. Line the bottom of
the container with landscape fabric to prevent animals such as moles from getting into the bed. Moles eat worms!
In hot climates or typical continental climates (hot summers, cold winters) it would be prudent to shade the worm
bed in the summer, but make sure there is good air circulation. When the cold weather comes bank or build up
material such as compost or leaves to help insulate the bed from freezing. Another tip which works well is line the
bed or container with at least 1 inch Styrofoam around the sides when you build it. If you line the bottom with
Styrofoam make sure it has ample drainage.
Worms can be kept in compost piles as long as the compost is no longer hot and has enough material to protect the
worms from extremes in the environment. Worms like compost piles as they provide adequate food and usually
good air circulation. Don't turn the compost pile once the worms have been added as the pile could heat up again
and kill the worms.
For bedding a variety of organic materials can be used. Crushed dry leaves, shredded newspaper (the ink these days
is non-toxic), plant waste, horse or rabbit manure. Don't use waste from carnivorous animals or poultry waste.
Poultry waste is high in nitrogen and may heat up the bedding. The bedding must be kept moist and loose. Turn it
every 2 to 3 weeks to keep it lose and aerated. To begin, commercial beddings can to used such as Wonder Worm,
Worm Bedding. If using commercial bedding to begin, make sure there is enough organic or decaying material
available in the bedding or use a commercially produced worm food. Don't use animal parts or fats. Not only will
they kill the worms, but it invites animals such as raccoons, skunks,
etc.
A constant temperature, a moist worm bedding environment is a place for the worms to grow and breed. In a short
time there will be hatchlings and young worms growing to healthy adults. Bedding does not have to be composed
solely of organic materials. It is good practice to have a certain amount of soil in the bedding as worms need some
dirt or fine sand for their gullets to process the food passing through them much like birds do.
Feed the worms green waste, in other words, compost able yard waste. Worms will eat kitchen scraps, paper
napkins, newspaper, coffee and filter, tea, melon rinds and peelings. Vegetable matter is best, but make sure it is in
small pieces or ground down. Oils will cause the worms to suffocate when it coats their skin.
After filling the bed with bedding, wet the bed until moist, lay the worms on top and let them burrow into the
material.
Within 20 minutes they should disappear into the bed. They create their own holes from the start. Remove any dead
worms left on top of the bedding. Put feed over the bed sparingly about 20 grams per 100 worms, replenish when
the feed disappears from the top of the bed. Check moisture content every day and use a sprinkling wand when water needs to be added. With time you will learn the proper amount, adjusting to the climate. Add about 1 inch of
bedding filler once a month to give the worm's new bedding. Turn the bed once a month so the bedding stays loose.
Do not stand on the bed as this will compact the bed and
maybe crush the worms.
