Nikon CLS Transmitted
Through Yongnuo Transceivers
1) Yongnuo transceiver #1 in the hot shot of the camera, Nikon flash in Commander mode in the transceiver's hot shoe.
2) Yongnuo transceiver #2 set to Group A on a lightstand. Nikon CLS capable flash in TTL mode on that transceiver's hot shoe.
3) Put light stand behind our shed 40-50 yards away from the house.
4) Standing in my den I used the Commander flash on my camera to set the flash outside to
Manual mode at 1/8th power. It wasn't enough power to see the burst of light hitting the tree
I had the flash head aimed at, so using the flash on my camera I upped the power of the flash
outside to full power. It worked.
5) Then to push it I walked to the opposite corner of my house (LR) and had my wife watch
for the flash of light against the tree. She had no idea when I was pressing the shutter or test
button, but called out every time I did either without fail.
