Hirth Overview
• Hirth has been making reliable aircraft engines since 1927 (over 80
years) and has produced over 1 million engines.
• Hirth’s product experience spans helicopters, gyrocopters, hovercraft,
ultra-lights, powered parachutes, water pumps, APU’s and UAV’s.
This vast product experience results in an engine that meets the
severe demands of air, sea, ground and snow applications.
• Hirth is applying advanced technologies to further improve
performance, reliability, alternative fuel capability and enhanced
durability. These technologies include direct injection, compression
wave injection, starter/generators, reduction drives and advanced
engine management systems.
• Hirth has relationships with key suppliers and partners around the
world to develop and produce the most advanced 2-stroke aircraft
engine on the market today.
