Simple Process
The MYTIS-1/SP uses a 6 color,
dispersion dye ink process to
produce output with crisp details
and vivid colors that resemble a
traditional photographic print.
The MYTIS-1/SP uses variable dot
technology, printing different sized
dots that yield high resolution
prints with extremely fine gradations. True photo quality output
from Noritsu- a company with over
25 years of experience producing
photographic equipment.
Output from the MYTIS-1/SP requires no
lamination and will last 3-5 years outdoors
without signs of weather-wear or water
damage around the edges. The MYTIS-1/SP is
able to produce extremely durable prints by
using a combination of specially developed
ink, advanced media and a proprietary
ink deployment system. Prints are also
extremely graffiti resistant. Spray-paints
and markers clean up easily with a small
amount of acetone.
The MYTIS printing system
uses proprietary dispersion dye
ink, to which heat is applied
after the printing. This causes
the ink to pass through the
fluorine layer of the 5-layered
media and be absorbed below.
The ink then resides between
the fluorine layer and the base
layer, producing prints with
exceptional weatherability.

White Vision Film – Available in matte or glossy, this film features an adhesive backing and is ideal for
indoor/outdoor posters, advertisements, point-of-purchase displays and tradeshow signage. White Vision
Film is the most versatile media for the MYTIS-1/SP.
Backlit Vision Film – The ultimate choice for illuminated signs, Backlit Vision Film brings images to life and
brilliantly showcases colors when lit from behind. Available in glossy or matte finish and with front or back
adhesive, this media can also be used without backlighting in well-lit applications. Effective during the day and
at night, Backlit Vision features an adhesive front and can be used in indoor/outdoor signs and billboards.
Trans Vision Film – This unique media comes with glossy or matte finishes along with integrated front
or back adhesive. Trans Vision Film can transform any piece of transparent glass into an impressive medium
for displaying images, advertisements or other promotional messages. This adaptable medium can be
affixed to opaque white or colored acrylic material and illuminated to achieve a dramatic effect. With Trans
Vision Film, it is also possible to increase output density with overprinting.
Metallic Vision – With its glossy finish and distinctive shimmering metallic appearance, Metallic Vision
is well suited for applications where a dramatic presentation is desired. Adhesive backing is conveniently
integrated into this media.
Reflective Vision – By day, Reflective Vision media delivers crisp images with vivid colors with a glossy
finish. By night, this media reflects direct light sources, producing striking printed images.
