Analizador de nitrogeno total TN-100
Total Nitrogen Analyzer
Model TN-100
Measurement of total trace nitrogen levels in petroleum refining, petrochemical
and other petroleum products is considered to be important in consideration
of quality, air pollution and other factors. The use of the newest database
software not only facilitates easy storage, analysis and database management
of data, but is also useful in deploying effective quality control.
(complies with ASTM D4629,D5176,D6069)
ASC-150L Liquid Auto Sampler(option)
<50 bottles>
The TN-100 is provided with all the accessories
required for measurement of non-aqueous and
aqueous samples.
The use of the model ASC-150L liquid auto
sampler allows completely automated measurement
of up to 50 samples.
A reduced pressure system is used that is
essential for non-aqueous samples.
Five types of measuring ranges make it possible
to accommodate a wide range of sample types from
low concentrations to high concentrations.
Safe design featuring continuous monitoring of
supplied gas flow rate, reaction tube temperature
and other parameters along with activation of an
interlock function during system abnormalities.

Non-aqueous samples are injected at a constant rate using a
gas-tight microsyringe.
Up to 50 samples can be sampled automatically. This sampler can
accommodate various types of samples and has numerous
control parameters.

Use of Windows®95/98 for the operating system, database management
of all data and monitoring of system status with a QC program
for outstanding reliability and performance.
TN-100 System Program
Combining the TN-100 control unit with a personal computer makes it possible to set up all devices required for
measurement. The use of Windows®95/98 for the operating system of the personal computer lets the system be operated
easily by practically anyone.
Input of Measurement Data Using
the Method File
Operation
Calibration and sample measurement information are processed by
this method file. Operating data for multiple sample types can be
entered easily in cases, for example, of using an auto sampler.
Complete Data Management
Database
All data relating to measurement is stored in a database. In addition
to calibration and measurement data, data queries can be made
using the names of accessories used. This database allows data to
be used by commercially available spreadsheet software, enabling
reports to be prepared in any desired format.
System Diagnostic Function
QC Programs
Two QC programs are provided for determining
system status. These programs contain a system
check that confirms the linearity of reaction values,
and a drift check that monitors circadian variations in
reaction values. These QC programs are especially
useful when assessing the time for maintenance.
Report formats are available to accommodate all necessary information,
making it possible to select the report format to match the particular application.
Summary Report
(Sample Average Report)
Measurement conditions, waveform processing
parameters, type of calibration curve and measurement
average values are compiled in a single report.
Customized Report
Detailed data during calibration curve generation and
other information can be output. A function is also
provided that allows output of all sample measurement
data.
System Diagnostic Report
The results of system diagnosis can be printed out and
used for management of system accuracy.
A program provided by the database for accessing
Excel allows users to prepare their own original reports.
Amidst the increasing need for measures against eutrophicatio caused by
nitrogen, total nitrogen can be measured with high sensitivity, high precision
and rapid using a lower pressure chemiluminescence method in river water,
lake water, wastewater, sea water and domestic wastewater. The use of the
newest database software facilitates easy storage, analysis and management
of data.
1 User Friendly Windows®95/98 based Software
The use of Windows for the personal computer
operating system allows the analyzer to be operated
easily by practically anyone. The heater, ozonizer
and other system components can also be turned
on and off from the personal computer. Analysis
status during sample measurement can be
continuously checked on the monitor.
2 Fully Automated Nitrogen Measurement System for Water Samples
This system allows to measure total nitrogen in river water, lake water, waste watrer and so on up to 30
samples.

The sample is injected into a reaction tube maintained at a high
temperature (600
800
) using oxygen or air for the carrier
gas. Nitrogen compounds in the sample are broken down by
pyrolysis and then oxidized by O 2 gas to convert into NO. After
removing moisture from the resulting NO gas with an electric
dehumidifier, it is allowed to react with O 3 gas after which the
oxidation reaction indicated below takes place.
Light having a wavelength of 590-2500 nm is emitted during the
course of this reaction. The intensity of this light is proportional
to NO concentration over a broad range. The emitted light is
captured with a photomultiplier tube and converted to an AREA
value after waveform processing. The total nitrogen
concentration in the sample is then determined using a
calibration curve prepared in advance with a standard solution.
