After 4 fabulous years of Tennis Tours to China, the 2016 tour will again be led by the legendary JUDY DALTON, winner of the 1966
Australian Women’s Open. Judy was also Wimbledon singles runner-up in 1968 and semi-finalist in 1971. In Doubles she won the
Australian 4 times, the US Open twice and both the French and Wimbledon doubles titles. In 2013 Judy was inducted into the Australian Tennis Hall of Fame.
See the semi-finals of the China Open in Beijing, one of the world’s premier tournaments with the world’s top men’s and women’s
players competing, as well as the Shanghai Masters including Djokovic, Federer, Nadal, Murray and more.
Experience China’s incredible culture, food, history and sights including the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, The Great Wall of
China in Beijing, and then catch the Bullet Train to Shanghai, one of the most modern cities in the world.
Play social tennis club matches at the famous Potters Wheel International Tennis Academy hosted by the legendary CARLOS RODRIGUEZ who coached 7 times Grand Slam winner Justine Henin, and recently China’s superstar and dual Grand Slam winner Li Na at the Academy, as well as a match at the luxurious Shanghai Racquet Club.

CHINA TENNIS TOUR 2016
Day 1 Friday 7th October:Depart Australia and evening
arrival in Beijing. You are met and transferred to our luxury
Beijing Raffles Hotel.
Day 2 Saturday 8th October:Today is Semi-Final day at
the prestigious China Open. It has featured Williams, Sharapova, Azarenka, Djokovic and the world’s best Men’s and
Women’s players over the past few years.
Day 3 Sunday 9th October: After breakfast, we visit the
Summer Palace. It was the retreat residence of China’s Imperial rulers, a pleasure ground in the countryside, yet near
to the city. The Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden in the world. In the afternoon we depart for our match at
the 6th Sense - Potters Wheel International Tennis Academy. The Potters Wheel has 25 courts and is known around
the world with Tennis Director Carlos Rodriguez, famous
coach of Justine Henin and recently Li Na.
Day 4 Monday 10th October:After breakfast, we take a
city tour including Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden
City. After lunch, ride a trishaw to tour the ancient city alleys
of the Hutongs and experience the lifestyle of the local people. Tonight we see the spectacular and world famous Beijing Acrobat Show.
Day 5 Tuesday 11th October:An early breakfast will be
followed by a bus trip to the Great Wall of China. Today you
will experience the splendor of the Great Wall, the pride of
China and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. We return to Beijing City and visit the 2008 Olympic venues of
the Bird’s Nest and the W ater Cube. After we see
the trendy and unique 798 Art Village. In the evening we
celebrate our time in Beijing with a Farewell Dinner.
Day 6 Wednesday 12th October:After breakfast and
check-out we depart Beijing and catch the morning Bullet
Train to Yangzhou an ancient water town over 2500 years
old. When we arrive in Yangzhou we transfer to our hotel
and explore the cities nightlife.
Day 7 Thursday 13th October:The day begins with a city
tour of Yanghou before we get a train to Shanghai and
transfer to the Swissotel Grand Hotel. Tonight’s highlight is a
spectacular evening Huangpu river cruise where you will see
great views of the city and Shanghai’s spectacular skyline.
Day 8 Friday 14th October:The day begins with a city
tour of Shanghai, the classical Ming Dynasty Yu Yuan Gardens with pavilions, towers, terraces and Pudong - the new
economic district across from the Bund and some window
shopping along bustling Nanjing Road.
Day 9 Saturday 15th October:The morning is at your
leisure. We depart our hotel at midday for Semi-Final day at
the Shanghai Masters featuring Nadal, Federer, Djokovic,
Murray and the world’s best players.
Day 10 Sunday 16th October:This morning is our tennis
match at the stylish Shanghai Racquet Club. Tonight, a
Farewell Dinner party will celebrate a wonderful tour.
Day 11 Monday 17th October:
Free morning and transfer to the airport for your flight.
