the Madison Club! Our Mother's Day celebration
provides a spectacular variety of fresh, gourmet
cuisine and the Club's elegant setting. This is the
perfect way to show mom how much she means

Seatings are available at 10 AM and 1 PM. Price
for brunch is $34.95++ for adults and $14.95++
for children ages 5-12 years old. There is no
charge for kids under five years. As always, our

fried chicken and derby pie. Mint Juleps will also

playing along with our pick-a-box game during the
races! The Derby race is at 5:30 PM, with the Tap
Room opening for festivities at 4 PM. Tables are

EVENT CANCELLATIONS
If you are cancelling an event reservation, please note that members who
cancel less than 48 hours before an event will be charged 50 percent of the
price of the event, unless a waiting list is available, in which case there will be
no charge. Additionally, members who do not show up for an event they have
made reservations for will be responsible for the full cost of the event.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo a day early at the Madison Club
with a cooking class featuring authentic Mexican tacos!
Chef Noah will teach you the art of making a homemade
tortilla, the ins-and-outs of traditional Mexican taco meats,
and even the secret to a perfect queso fresco! Class price is
$55++ per person and includes beverages and snacks. This
class is limited to 10 students. All participants must be 16

TUESDAY, JUNE 28 at 6 pm
Freshly-picked strawberries are delicious on their own, but they
are also a lovely ingredient for standout summer dishes! This class
will focus on how to use strawberries in a variety of ways, including
gazpacho, bruschetta, vinaigrette, desserts and more! Class price
is $55++ per person and includes beverages and snacks. This class
is limited to 10 students. All participants must be 16 years of age or

their line of craft spirits. Driftless
Glen is known for their vodka,
young rye whiskey, wonderful
5 yr. reserve brandy, and double
barreled gins. Everything is
distilled by them at their Baraboo
distillery, except for the brandy
which is distilled in Cognac,
France before being “finished” here.

pre-purchase dining credits for use on dining,
drinks and Madison Club events. Banquets and gift
certificates, merchandise and parking are excluded from
use. For every $500 of dining credits purchased,
the Madison Club adds $100 in bonus credits to
your account.
This is our way of saying thank you to our
members for making the Madison Club a regular
destination for fine dining and events.
Look for the sign-up form in your next billing
statement. Dining credits must be purchased in increments of
$500.

The Capitol Room will be vibrant with color as designer Paula Crevoshay
shares her breathtaking jewelry collection with Madison Club members
and their guests. In addition to red-carpet-worthy earrings, rings,
necklaces and bracelets, she will be showcasing pieces that will be
exhibited in Paris this fall in a one-woman show at the Sorbonne.
While you enjoy the breathtaking display of gem opals and designer
opal jewelry, you can sample the award-winning portfolio of Sonoma
Vintner Joseph Donelan! Donelan will be at the event to discuss his
portfolio one-on-one. Donelan Wines are usually available only at the
winery in Sonoma or through private wine club affiliation, but Madison Club members will have the rare
opportunity to place orders for their favorite wines that evening. To enhance your tasting experience,
sweet and savory nibbles will be available throughout the event.
Don’t miss this perfect pairing of fine wine and jewels on Thursday, May 26th from 5 to 8 PM. Admission

Are you a young professional that likes local brews? Join other craft beer and spirit enthusiasts on Thursday, May 12,
for the Madison Club's private distillery and brewery tour. Hop Head Beer Tours will guide us through an educational
and tasty tour around the city. The bus departs from outside of the Madison Club, where the first stop will be Old Sugar
Distillery. Old Sugar's staff will lead you through a tasting of their hand-crafted spirits, a discussion on the process of
distilling, and your choice of one of their craft cocktails. Next, we'll visit House of Brews, where you will learn about the
brewing process with a tour of the brewing facility and a sampling of their locally-brewed beer. For our last stop, we'll
visit a favored neighborhood brewery, Next Door Brewing Company. You'll have your choice of a pint of beer or a flight
of three sample pours, and will be able to enjoy dinner if you choose (dinner is an added expense and is not included
with ticket price).

MOMENTUM LUNCH "The story of food fight, an odyssey"
WITH FOOD FIGHT CHAIRMAN PEDER MOREN AND MANAGING PARTNER CAITLIN SUEMNICHT

The Momentum luncheon on June 9 will feature a presentation and Q & A session with Food
Fight Chairman Peder Moren and Food Fight Managing Partner Caitlin Suemnicht.
Born in Madison and raised in Wonewoc, Moren has been a resident of Wisconsin for his
entire life. He attended UW in 1959, and after graduating, purchased a restaurant with his
brother in 1968. He spent the next 45 years creating small businesses, as well as buying,
selling, and developing real estate. He entered back into the restaurant business in 1990
with the opening of Monty’s Blue Plate Diner. Moren has served as Chairman of Food Fight
Restaurant Group since its inception in 1995, and continues to do so now. Managing Partner
Caitlin Suemnicht began her career with Food Fight in 2001 as a server at the newly-opened
Johnny Delmonico's. After graduating with a degree in Sociology in 2006, Caitlin moved into a
leadership position at Food Fight, overseeing a range of properties before becoming a managing
partner in 2012.

Enjoy the beautiful summer weather and the incredible sound of live music at July's Momentum happy
hour event. Relax on our spacious patio while getting to know fellow members at the Club! Live music
for this happy hour will be provided by Madison musician Mark Croft, an acoustic guitar-based
singer/songwriter with roots, pop, & Americana song styling. Croft is a skilled guitar player, a powerful
and dynamic vocalist, and a talented songwriter and entertainer. This event will take place on July 14
from 5 - 6:30 PM and will be $10 with a cash bar.

For the third event in our Growth Bomb Speaker Series, the Madison
Club is pleased to welcome author Amy Morin. Morin is most known
for her article "13 Things Mentally Strong People Don't Do," which
was viewed by over 10 million people. She now has a book published
in over 20 languages on the same topic. A Skype discussion and
live Q&A session will be facilitated by Jenna Atkinson, host of the
Growth Bomb podcast. Admission price of $35 includes a copy of Ms.
Morin's book, the presentation and lunch.

Dells magic: Wisconsin Dells fall tour

Join Madison Club members and guests for a fascinating active program of
Wisconsin Dells history and Native American lore, Thursday, October 13.
Hike at Louis Bluff in Juneau County and enjoy a leisurely Wisconsin
River boat cruise narrated by Melanie Tallmadge-Sainz, a talented
visual and performing artist, educator, and member of the Ho-Chunk
Nation. Tallmadge-Sainz is also founder of the Great Lakes Little Eagle
Arts Foundation gallery dedicated to promoting American Indian art by
cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit of First Nations artists.
Louis Bluff owners Frank and Mariana Weinhold have chosen to safeguard
their 133-acre pioneer farmstead, a Wisconsin Dells landmark with a
conservation easement granted to Natural Heritage Land Trust. This ensures that its stunning scenery
and sandstone landforms will be enjoyed in perpetuity. Participants will have an opportunity to
experience the magic of Wisconsin River State Natural Area in fall color.
Registration of $125 per participant includes deluxe coach transportation from The Madison Club,
catered lunch, narrated private guided hikes for active and "easy walking" participants, a special
Ho-Chunk nation cultural program and private narrated Dells cruise. Participation is strictly limited to

Cruise in comfort and style onboard the top-ranked
AmaWaterways deluxe ship Amadante. Prior to ship
embarkation, the trip begins with a special twoday shopping and guided personalized program in
Luxembourg. Embark down the fascinating Moselle
River's intimate wine region with a visit to Trier, the
oldest German city, and meander through the Mosel Valley with its steep hillsides sheathed in endless
vineyards.
Explore the welcoming German villages of Benkastel and Cochem before enjoying the dramatic scenery
of the Rhine River Gorge where medieval castles abound. Along the Main River we experience medieval
towns seemingly untouched by time, before we cruise through the Main-Danube Canal to historic
Nuremberg. Bamberg, Wertheim, Wurzburg, Ruedesheim and Kitzingen are also on our river cruise
itinerary.

are installing new and updated
security measures throughout the
building to be completed by the
end of March. Starting April 1, the
Madison Club will be locking all
doors after 9 PM. After this time,
you can either use your parking
