HISTORY
Glastron has a rich legacy of design, from the runabouts of the 60’s
and 70’s to the Carlson Series, these boats were known for their style,
performance, and attention to detail. Just as Randy Vance, editor of
Boating Life stated “Glastrons were the Ferrari of boats. If you were
driving one of these you had everyone’s attention.” To honor Glastron’s
history a new generation of models have been designed. These new
Glastrons are not just a boat, it’s a tribute to 55 years of exceptional boat
building.
GTR 160 & GT 160
GT 160
The new GT 160 is a provocative, modern design that uses cues from
the original GT of the late 1960’s. This 16-footer is designed to command
the waterways with eye-popping graphics and design lines that appeal
to a broad audience of boaters. The influence of past Glastron models
is apparent in every detail from the exterior lines to the windshield and
retro pull switches.
GT 200
GT 200
Next in line in this new generation of boats is the GT 200. With the same
lines of the GT 160, this boat has a similar look, but offers more features
and upgrades.
LAYOUT
Inside the cockpit you will find more space and new design features.
A transom walk-thru, exceptional on an outboard boat, with a sliding
cushion that can be pushed back and stored out of the way. On the
port side the bench seat slides out and a flip down leg creates a lounge.
Storage on the hull sides, under the bow and aft seats, a large ski locker,
and lockable glove box makes this boat very practical for a family to
spend the day on the water.
RACING SEATS
Many new design elements from the GT 160 have been carried over to
this new boat. Features such as the racing seats which are named for
their thin profile design and sports car inspired look. These seats are fully
adjustable and upholstered with a racing stripe down the center.
GAUGES
Retro styling and automotive inspiration is evident down to the smallest
details. These gauges are exclusively designed for Glastron and have
many details such as a raised mask, giving them a thee dimensional look,
chrome accents, and technical font.
WINDSHIELD
A key design element of any boat is the windshield. This windshield is
inspired by roadster type cars and represents the experience of driving
in a convertible. The GT 200 features a curved windshield with a center
walk-thru and optional side wings for those who desire more protection.
DETAILS
The racing stripe style of the GT 160 has been brought into the interior
and use throughout the upholstery from the bright bow cushions to the
“racing seats” and the aft bench seat. The port and stbd. racing seats
can be upgraded with a flip up bolster as shown.
DASH
The dash is also similar to the GT 160 with manual pull switches that are
reminiscent of an older generation, large aluminum over sized tubes for
a technical look, oversized center gauges and two smaller ones with the
same style on the side.
GTS 200 Concept Rendering
GTS 200
A brand new design, the GTS 200 has eye catching graphics and many
upgrades that makes this boat stand out from the rest. A two tone gel
scheme offered in black, red, or yellow with dynamic stripes and an
overlapping signature Glastron spear. The optional tower is an exclusive
design to Glastron and enhances the look of this boat with it’s sporty
lines and black color. When equipped with a 200 HP engine this boat will
reach speeds over 50 MPH.
GTS INTERIOR
The custom interior of the GTS comes standard with two-toned red and
black vinyl, an upgraded steering wheel, and an optional embroidered
carpet to complete the look.

SKI & FISH
The ski & fish is full of features you would expect to see on a fishing
boat as well as a few new ones. The goal of this model is to improve
the functionality and style of a typical fishing boat with new features
and graphics. Inspired by professional fishing boats such as our
sister company Ranger, the unique hull side graphics enhance the
appearance of this design and represent the activities the boat will be
used for. Two styles of fishing seats are offered and are designed to be
multipurpose and easily storable. The bucket seats can be moved from
their original location and used in multiple areas for fishing, while the
“casting” seat is small enough to be stowed away easily.
