A sleeker line, a more dynamic and robust
personality: the Fiat Ducato style stands
out on the road.
The design is the result of the joint work of the
Engineering & Design team, the Style Centre and
motorhome manufacturers. Affording a host of customisation possibilities, horizontal silhouettes which
facilitate integration with the style of the living unit,
easy driving and manoeuvring, thanks to the compact length of the front of the vehicle, which maximises the dimensions of the unit.
The design focuses not only on styling but also on
functionality. It has been designed to optimise vehicle
safety and quality: for instance, the new DRL (Daytime
Running Light) headlights featuring LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are placed high up for improved lighting
efficiency and at the same time protecting them from
exposure to small knocks. The headlights are also fitted on sliding guides which facilitate light bulb replacement operations. The panel under the windscreen protects the engine compartment from the outside.

For those who want ultimate peace of mind at
the wheel and fuel saving, the “Comfort-Matic”
6-speed robotised gearbox is available on 130/150
and 180 MultiJet versions. With the automatic
function, managing the gears is autonomous, providing simpler and more efficient driving. Manual
mode is also available using the lever on the dashboard. Comfort–Matic integrates many functions:
choosing the appropriate ratios based on the road
gradient; ideal road grip thanks to the measurement of the curves; better performance during
acceleration and overtaking with the Kick Down
function; assistance when slowing down or braking. In addition, thanks to the Up system, this type
of gearbox ensures high performance even in the
toughest conditions such as with maximum load or
steeply sloping roads.

The Fiat Ducato has a dedicated Euro 5+ engine
for every kind of trip. Each of the 3 engines is not
adapted to various uses only by different settings
of the electronics, but has specific technical characteristics depending on the version: such as displacement, variable geometry turbine and MultiJet
II injection that provide power and efficiency. Each
engine is best-in-class in terms of fuel consumption and emissions.
The 130 to 180 HP engines, along with a tailormade set-up for the gearbox for the Fiat Ducato
motorhome base versions, favour torque at low
revs in order to ensure effective pick-up with a
minimum decibel level to improve driving comfort.
These engines are also “best-in-class” in terms of
fuel consumption and emissions and starting today offer the “Gear Shift Indicator” function which
helps reduce fuel consumption even further.
All gearboxes have also been tested on motorhome
versions and offer specific ratios that better adapt
to this mission.

In addition to new braking systems, the Fiat Ducato 2015 also
for guaranteed control, even in the most extreme conditions.
ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC)
The system intervenes in emergency situations, for example in sudden swerving
manoeuvres to avoid an unexpected
obstacle. It monitors parameters such as
lateral acceleration, speed, grip and angle
of the steering wheel. It processes the data
and, if necessary, intervenes on the drive torque and braking system to restore
perfect stability to the motorhome. ESC is also available on Al-Ko versions.
ROLL OVER MITIGATION
New additional assistance for the ESC in
situations where the risk of rollover is
greater, which reduces rollover, in other
words the side inclination of the
motorhome with respect to the road surface, even on bends.
HILL HOLDER
Brakes the vehicle when starting uphill,
inhibiting rearward motion without using
the handbrake. The brake is released
automatically (built into the ESC).

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM
(LDWS) The Lane Departure Warning
System can determine whether the
motorhome is leaving its lane, even in lowvisibility weather conditions. In the event of
danger, an acoustic and visual signal alerts
the driver of the potential impending threat.
TRACTION+
Traction+ is the innovative traction control system that improves the motorhome
traction on the most challenging surfaces, with poor grip. In the presence of ESC
and under conditions of low or zero grip
from any drive wheel, the control unit
detects slip and brakes it, transmitting the drive torque on the wheel with
greater grip on the ground. In this way, the motorhome’s performance is more
comfortable, ensuring the best stability and handling.

presence of Traction+, it helps maintain
the desired speed without having to brake

TRAFFIC SIGNS RECOGNITION (TSR)

TSR assists the driver by recognising
speed limit and overtaking signs and
reproducing them on the on-board display so as to inform the driver.
CRUISE CONTROL AND SPEED LIMITER
Cruise Control allows you to set the cruising speed and keep it constant. The Speed
Limiter incorporated into the cruise control on the 130 and 150 MultiJet versions
allows you to set the maximum speed
that the vehicle can reach, increasing
safety. When the accelerator pedal is fully depressed, the driver can exceed the
limit set for specific overtaking manoeuvres.
HIGH BEAM RECOGNITION In the presence of the LDWS, this manages the activation and deactivation of the main beam
headlights, increasing visibility and
reducing the risk of dazzling when driving
at night, recognising vehicles travelling in
the opposite direction automatically.
RAIN AND DUSK SENSOR The rain sensor, in accordance with the intensity of the
rain, activates the wipers and regulates
their speed. The dusk sensor automatically switches on dipped beam headlights
when the outside light is insufficient.

The driving position is through and through ‘automotive’ style: excellent visibility, “Captain Chair”
seats with integrated headrests designed taking
into account the motorhome specifications, the

back angle, up to the hydraulic power steering that

The dashboard houses a large number of storage compartments, different in size, a roomy lockable compartment as
an alternative to a practical mobile phone/tablet holder module and a useful bottle holder space for two 75 cl bottles.
The upper compartment keeps a 1.5 litre bottle cool when the air conditioning is activated.
Small chrome-plated details give a touch of elegance to the air knobs, gear lever knob, steering wheel when in
leather, and control buttons on the radio and air conditioning.
Multimedia and continuous connection ensure both safety and comfort. All infotainment devices and safety and
driving assistance systems can be accessed from the driver’s seat. The new Bluetooth Radios® allow you to listen
to music in the most commonly used multimedia formats thanks to the USB and AUX inputs. The Uconnect™ Radio
with CD player and steering wheel controls is equipped with 5” colour touchscreen from which it is possible to
manage radio stations, phone calls and SMSs as well as display the images from the rear camera. The interface
with voice recognition facilitates the management of phone calls and reading of SMSs. The U-Connect™ Radio is
also available with built-in satellite navigator and TomTom software complete with TMC receiver for traffic information, IQ Routes to identify the quickest route to the final destination, millions of points of interest and database
