Dear World Martial Arts Games Participant,
On behalf of the Hosting Committee of the 2016 World Martial Arts Games, I would like to welcome you
to the wonderful King City Bad Kissingen in Germany. During the weekend of the 1st to 4th of September
2016, competitors from all over the world will compete for the honour of becoming a World Martial Arts
Games Champion. The event will be held under the Patronage of WMAC - Member of TAFISA, an
International Olympic Committee (IOC) recognized Multi-Sport Organization.
Bad Kissingen is located near the beautiful City in the geographic middle of Germany. Bad Kissingen is in
the federal state of Bayern in the region Franken.The city is situated on a plateau falling in a series of
terraces. It is a junction of the arterial roads from the Rhöne valley to the German Historic places like
Bayreuth with the Wagner Festivals and a lot of castles in the near. Also a lot of Culture and Sporting
activities are in the near. Bad Kissingen was in the past the holiday place and centre of healthiness for all
Kings in the old Europe. Zar Alexander from Russia all German Kings and also the Austrian Habsburg
monarchy was there.
As a participant in the 10th Annual, World Martial Arts Games, you will be present amongst the top
martial arts athletes from around the world, representing a multitude of disciplines with all following
universal moral principles, helping to display and promote the true spirit of the Martial Arts. With over
300 Divisions encompassing the disciplines of Extreme Martial Arts, Grappling, Karate, Kickboxing,
Kung Fu, Sport Jujutsu, MMA Light and others. There is something for everyone and many participants
will compete in more than one event.
On September 1st, 2016 an estimated 500-1000 martial arts athletes of various age and skill levels,
representing 20-40 nations will gather at Bayern Hall, Bad Kissingen, Germany to compete for chance to
become a World Martial Arts Games Champion. Be part of history and join us for the time of your life!

Bad Kissingen - Out and About
The City Bad Kissingen is in the middle of Germany (Franken) and has all sides of the German
culture and lives to present. Bad Kissingen is a very old City with a big background in the old
Kingdom Bayern. The Bayern Kings was there for enjoying and healthiness as well. Also the
Russian Zar Alexander and the Austrian Kaiser Franz Joseph was many time in this wonderful
city. Bad Kissing have in the near the river Rhön which gives a lot kinds of Water sports. The
City has also a castle too and a lot of Historic buildings and Museums like the Bismarck
Museum.
In the near are Castle Bad Brückenau the summer residence of King Ludwig the 1st or the black
moor. The famous Wagner City Bayreuth and the Czech Republic are very close to visit.

Extra Coaching Pass € 5,-To be allowed on the floor, coaches must attend the Coaches

Coaches without credentials will not be allowed on the
competition floor.

place on Friday 2nd of September 2016 at 1-3 pm. At the meeting
officials will receive their certification and referees t-shirt.

Athletes must bring proof of identification and age (passport, drivers licence, identity
card or else) in order to weight in or risk disqualification. Also a medical check for all
combat categories (the medical can be also checked at the tournament – cost is €20,--).

This is an open Category for all weight Divisions and Belt Grading.
Male / Female are split.
Forms
This is an open Category for all Styles with or without weapons &
music. Male / Female are together.

Belt Grading in the Divisions:
In all Divisions except the K1, Fullcontact, Thaiboxing and all Combat-classes of Kids and
Juniors we have different Divisions in each Category.
We split them in Under Belts and Black Belts:
Under belt =
Black belt =
all belts from white to brown
all belts upper then brown.
Attention:
It is allowed to start from under belt to black belt but it is not allowed to start from Black Belt in
a under belt category. It is also allowed to start in my weight Division and the next higher
Division in the same category.
Examples:
John AB: Weight 52 KG, Age: 14, Category PF
He can start: PF U16 -55 kg and in PF U16 -60 kg
He can start: PF U18 -55 kg and in PF U18 -60 kg
He can't start in PF U12 and in PF +18
John XY: Weight 78 kg, Age: 28, Category LC and Forms-Chinese Empty Hands Black Belt
He can start: LC +18 -80 kg and in LC +18 -85 kg
He can start: CH-BB
He can't start in LC in others age classes
He can't start in CH-UB
John CD: Weight 81 kg, Age: 36, Category PF & KK, Black Belt
He can start: PF +35 -85 kg and in PF +35 +85 kg
He can start: KK-BB +18 -85 kg and in KK-BB +18 -90 kg
He can't start in the Master Class +45 or in the Under Belt class +18
If he is 45, he can start only in the Master Class or in the Veterans Class - not in the Adults

World Games Rules:
Please read carefully the General Rules of WMAC and also the Rules book in your division. So
you are informed about all Category Rules and also the Basic Information about our
tournaments. Have a look on our homepage www.wmac-world.com and in our facebook group
World Martial Art Games 2016.
Ranks will be determined as follow:
NO Professional Fighters (in each division = only Amateurs)!
When registering please write down your Category, Weight Class, Age and Rank.
All uniforms and equipment must be acceptable under WMAC rules and guidelines.
All competitors must maintain themselves as appropriate Sports Ambassadors, and as such will
be held to the highest level of personal integrity, honour and responsibility. Poor sportsmanship
is a reason for exclusion from the event with no refund of fees.
In all categories should be 3 competitors. If it’s not – the Supervisor can take this category
together with a higher weight class.
All rules will be in accordance with the WMAC rules and guidelines as published by the WMAC.
