The success of Breckenridge Grand Vacations is due to the passion and vision of the developers and founding partners, Mike and Rob Millisor. In 1985, Mike initiated the marketing and sales of Gold Point Resort in Breckenridge, CO. Joined in 1986 by his brother, Rob, they sold out Gold Point Resort, and in June of 1998, they commenced the development, marketing, sales and management of Grand Timber Lodge. This project, situated between Peaks 8 and 9 of the world-famous Breckenridge Ski Resort and winner of the ACE Award for Project of Excellence in 2003, generated over three hundred million dollars of timeshare sales and is now sold out. Breckenridge Grand Vacations broke ground in May 2007 for the development of another top notch resort in Breckenridge. The Grand Lodge on Peak 7 is located at the base of Peak 7 of the Breckenridge Ski Resort and offers guests a full-service spa, an onsite restaurant, a grand lobby with spectacular views, a family game area and more. The property features amenities such as multiple indoor/outdoor pools, a grotto-style water feature in the spa, and landscape-inspired hot tubs. The resort is slated for completion in 2013. In 2012, Grand Lodge on Peak 7 joined its sister property in winning the ACE Award for Project of Excellence. As sales for Grand Lodge on Peak 7 continue to exceed goals, the developers of these exceptional properties are looking to the future with plans for fourth resort on Peak 8 in Breckenridge. HOMEAWAY Randy Sparks Account Director 1101 W. Fifth Street Suite 300 Austin, TX 78703 512.505.1627 www.homeaway.com HomeAway, Inc. and its operate the world’s largest online marketplace for the vacation rental industry. Vacation rentals are fully furnished, privately owned residential properties, including homes, condominiums, villas and cabins, that property owners and managers rent to the public on a nightly, weekly or monthly basis. Our marketplace brings together millions of travelers seeking vacation rentals online with hundreds of thousands of owners and managers of vacation rental properties located in 190 countries around the world. As of December 31, 2013, we operated our online marketplace through 35 websites in 16 languages. In 2013, according to our internal metrics, our websites attracted over 751.9 million website visits. As of December 31, 2013, our global marketplace included more than 890,000 paid listings of vacation rentals. The HomeAway portfolio includes the leading vacation rental websites HomeAway.com, VRBO.com and VacationRentals.com in the United States; HomeAway.co.uk and OwnersDirect.co.uk in the United Kingdom; HomeAway.de in Germany; Abritel.fr and Homelidays.com in France; HomeAway.es and Toprural.es in Spain; AlugueTemporada.com.br in Brazil; HomeAway.com.au and Stayz.com.au in Australia; and Bookabach.co.nz in New Zealand. Asia Pacific short-term rental site, travelmob.com, is also owned by HomeAway. In addition, we operate BedandBreakfast.com, the most comprehensive global site for finding bed and breakfast properties, providing travelers with another source for unique lodging alternatives to hotels, and HomeAway Software for Professionals at software.HomeAway.com, to offer software solutions to property managers and innkeepers. Our ambition is to make every vacation rental in the world available to every traveler in the world through our online marketplace. Our online marketplace serves two major constituents: property owners and managers on one side and travelers on the other. Property owners and managers pay listing fees, which are typically annual subscriptions, to provide detailed listings of their properties on our websites and reach a broad audience of travelers seeking vacation rentals. Travelers visit our marketplace at no charge and are able to search and compare our large and detailed inventory of paid listings to find vacation rentals meeting their requirements. The global vacation rental industry is large and growing, but also fragmented and inefficient. As we have grown, we have benefited by the network effect of having both a broad selection of vacation rental listings and a large audience of travelers. The broad selection of vacation rental listings attracts more travelers and the large audience of travelers in turn attracts more vacation rental listings from property owners and managers. The broad selection of listings helps travelers find the right vacation rental property for them and the large audience of travelers helps owners and managers ensure their properties are booked. The timeshare inventory is a great complement to the existing HomeAway vacation rental offering on HomeAway’s websites, and expands the options for travelers who may not have previously considered the rental of full-sized vacation homes and condominiums. Today, SPI Orange is recognized as the preferred software in the industry and is used by leading timeshare, shared-ownership and mixed use resort developers and operators worldwide. The reason for this is simple: SPI Orange Software helps to improve businesses’ efficiency and productivity. The resulting benefits such as improved accuracy, reduction in employee hours and increased customer satisfaction can lead to substantial cost savings. Today’s Software; Fully Capable When compared to in-house developments or legacy applications, SPI offers many important advantages including standardization, faster implementation, lower costs and reduced risk. Unlike other timeshare software systems running on outdated platforms, SPI Orange is built on the most advanced technology available today: Microsoft .NET and SQL server. It was specifically designed to be extensible and easily meet specialized requirements, while providing a superior baseline framework. Commitment to Progress Furthermore, SPI is committed to maintaining the product’s competitive advantage both from both a platform and functionality perspective. The SPI Software development team is constantly adding features and periodically upgrading the underlying technology platform to ensure the product stays current and will never become obsolete. For example, a browser-based version that is independent of an operating system is available so that clients can access data and functionality on a cloud-based platform. This frees up resort staff from the desk-bound computer so they can work from iPads or remote locations, via the Internet. Commitment to Excellence Our mission is to be the best technology partner available worldwide for resort developers and management companies. Therefore, customer input is, and will always be, the cornerstone of our product. Through the targeted use of its multiple brands, the company provides timeshare resale and rental services for consumers as well as customized resale and rental solutions to resorts, HOAs, developers, and management companies. Initially established in 2003 under the brand SellMyTimeshareNOW LLC, the company’s goal was to fill an underserved need in the secondary marketplace by offering an easily accessible, effective way for consumers to buy, rent, or sell timeshare via by-owner advertising on the internet. In 2006, the company expanded its services to include licensed timeshare brokerage, establishing Timeshare Broker Services of Florida, LLC. In 2008, Vacation Hotdeal Companies, Inc. acquired both SellMyTimeshareNOW and Timeshare Broker Services. After six years of self-funded operations, the company took on investment funding. Wellington offers a full range of loan programs to address all needs of the vacation ownership developer and continues to be an industry leader in creating innovative financing programs. Since its inception, Wellington has acted as a correspondent for most of the major industry lenders. Since 1995, Wellington has worked with Liberty Bank to create a dedicated vacation ownership lending program, expanding the bank’s then-existing timeshare program to include acquisition, development, construction, and inventory financing, as well as mezzanine debt and equity. Currently, Wellington is the exclusive correspondent for Liberty Bank’s Resort Finance group, acting as the bank’s originator and front-end loan servicer. Both Wellington and Liberty Bank have financed the timeshare industry continuously for over 30 years. Wellington, through its relationship with Liberty, offers vacation ownership developers access to one of the few full-service banks lending to the vacation ownership industry, bringing bank rates to an arena usually reserved for finance companies. More information about Wellington’s financing programs may be found at www.wellington-financial.com. Wellington Financial is currently led by Ronald M. Goldberg, who was appointed President in 2004. Mr. Goldberg has been in the industry since 1998, when he started his career at Wellington as an executive, and is committed to supporting the industry, demonstrated through Wellington’s current ARDA Convention Sponsorship. Mr. Goldberg was elected to ARDA’s Board of Directors in 2009. 88 ARDA 2014 TRUS T EE M EM B E R COM P A NIE S Adam Schwartz 6277 Sea Harbor Drive Orlando, FL 32821 407.626.5200 phone 407.370.5292 fax [email protected] 6277 Sea Harbor Drive Orlando, FL 32821 407.626.5200 phone 407.370.5292 fax [email protected] www.WyndhamWorldwide.com As the world’s largest developer and marketer of flexible, pointsbased vacation ownership products, Wyndham Vacation Ownership has developed or acquired more than 185 vacation ownership resorts throughout North America, Mexico, the Caribbean and the South Pacific, which constitute more than 23,000 condominium-style individual vacation ownership units.
