STEP ONE: HANDLEBAR CONTROL
STEP TWO: Wiring Harness

Remove oe clutch clamp.

Re-using oe hardware, install Legend
handlebar control as shown in Figure A.

Route cable down the handlebars and under

Connect the connector from the handlebar control
to the mating connector on the wiring harness.
Secure cable using cable-ties.

Remove the fuse from the fuse holder on the
wiring harness.

From the battery compartment, route the compressor
end (gray and black connectors) of the harness to
the compressor location by the right side forward

control mount, shown in Figure B. Follow the right side
vertical frame member down, and cross over to the
right side lower frame rail.
STEP THREE: COMPRESSOR MOUNT
A.
Remove the two screws holding the right side forward control in
place. If the bike has mid-controls, remove the plastic hole-plugs.
B.
Apply blue thread locker to the oe screws and mount bracket
(a.), between the forward control and the Frame mount,
or if bike has mid-controls use supplied screws 800-0026,
as show in Figure B. Do not tighten the screws yet.

Apply blue thread locker to the three screws 200-2025 and
mount the compressor assembly to the bracket 103-2003 as
800-1006 (3x)

Connect air tubing to the fitting on the compressor assembly (b.)
shown in Figure B. Do not tighten the screws yet.

Tighten the two screws from step B.

Tighten the two screws from step D.

Connect the gray and black connectors from the wiring harness
to the matching color connectors on the compressor assembly.

Route air tubing to the battery compartment along with the wiring
harness, and secure with cable-ties. Avoid hot components.
I.
Reinstall battery box and battery. Connect red wire to positive
terminal and black wire to negative terminal on battery.

STEP FOUR: SHOCKS
A.
With motorcycle properly supported on jack,
remove the oe shocks.
B.
200-2013
Apply blue thread locker to the fasteners,
and install your Legend shocks as shown
103-2004
in Figure C, with air fittings pointing
forward. (pay attention to years.)

torque hardware to oe specifications.
Route air tubing from each shock and
connect to air tubing from the
compressor using supplied Y-fitting.
CAUTION
STEP FIVE: OPERATION

Reinstall the fuse in the fuse holder

Push top button to inflate shocks, and
MAKE SURE TUBING IS
CUT AT A CLEAN 90° ANGLE
