Journal Innovación Educativa Volume 15, issue 69, September –December 2015 A four-monthly Journal of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, México CALL FOR PAPERS Researchers, docents, postgraduate students and the academic community in general to contribute unpublished research articles, in Spanish or English, to the thematic section Aleph of issue 69 focused on: Dialogue and meaning: philosophy in 21st century education We will consider, though not exclusively, the following topics: Challenges for 21st century students and instructors in the social, philanthropic and sustainable construction of knowledge. The meaning of philosophy and the humanities in conflict and post-conflict societies. New ways to learn philosophy in 21st century education. Contemporary philosophical research focused on: philosophy of information, ethics, philosophy of non-violence, and bioethics, among others. The meaning of philosophy in an education that promotes global connectivity: the confluence of science, humanities and technology. New ways of applying the contents of ethics, logic and aesthetics in science curriculums. The philosophical foundations, relevance and future of informal, non-institutional or alternative educational models. Education’s place in the contemporary reformulation of the most relevant philosophical and scientific questions.
