including San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Orange
County and San Diego. Amtrak long-distance
trains serving Los Angeles include the Coast
Starlight with service to the Bay Area, Portland
and Seattle. The Southwest Chief with service
to Flagstaff, Albuquerque and Chicago; and the
Sunset Limited providing service to the Phoenix
area, Tucson, San Antonio, and New Orleans.

Metro Rail provides local urban rail service within
Los Angeles County. From Union Station, take the
Gold Line to Pasadena or East LA, take the Red
Line to North Hollywood or the Purple Line to
Koreatown. The Red/Purple Line connects to the
Blue Line in downtown LA, extending your reach
to Long Beach and to the Green Line. Metro Rail
provides day, evening and weekend service.
