Ironzilla is a small game development company based in San Francisco, California. Ironzilla consists of
teams that are formed according to the needs of the project and focuses on creating unique games with
easy playability, catering to casual gamers that want more.

The Original Zombocalypse
Zombocalypse is an award winning side scrolling zombie game for the Adobe Flash platform. It has
received dozens of millions of plays across the internet and is the 7th most played and 7th highest rated
game on Adult Swim Games, receiving nearly 10 million plays. The original is published by Armor
Games and has reached critical acclaim on websites like Newgrounds, Kongregate, AddictingGames, and
JayIsGames.

What is Zombocalypse 2?
Zombocalypse 2 is a side-scrolling action game with RPG elements to be made for the Adobe Flash
platform (and possibly for iOS), taking place during the zombie apocalypse.

An iOS concept screen with new character designs
In Zombocalypse, you'll be frantically collecting every weapon crate you come across and
strategically fending off hordes of undead as you fight for the highest kill count. As players progress
through the game, your character will gain experience and level up, allowing you to unlock more
powerful weapon crates, skills, kill streaks, and other areas. Mastering the game is vital to leveling up
your character and overcoming stronger zombies and more challenging areas.
Gameplay will be strategic and rewarding. You'll be collecting every weapon crate you can as
you fight for the highest zombie kill count! As players progress through Zombocalypse, your character
will gain experience and level up, unlocking Call of Duty style Kill Streaks, equippable perks, more
weapons and levels, and character customizations.
Think Super Crate Box's intense forced weapon-switching meets the deep rewards system and
game mechanics from Call of Duty, with the flashy graphics of Castle Crashers.

Original Soundtrack and Voice Acting: An epic sound for an epic game brought to you by the
award winning video game composers of Castle Crashers — because generic music just wouldn't
serve Zombocalypse justice.

Production Planning
The online version of Zombocalypse took me 2 months in total to do everything myself: graphics,
animation, programming, and sound design. Professional illustrations were done by award winning artist
Mike Puncekar, and the voice acting was done by Apatheria.
For Zombocalypse 2, I plan to assemble a team of talent within the budget:
Jeff Hangartner - Artist / Animator
 Veteran Artist / Animator
 Has 2 iphone games under his belt, one of which was the award winning League of Evil 2.
 Worked in the games industry for half a decade and at Big Blue Bubble as an artist for 4 years,
working on Nintendo DS Games and Mobile Games.
Mike Puncekar - Illustrator
 Award winning illustrations, featured in Nintendo Power Magazine, IGN, Kotaku, exhibition
shows around the world, and more.
 Has done art previously for Zombocalypse and Super Ski Runner (Ironzilla Games)
Symphony of Specters - Composers / Voice Talent
 Award winning video game composers responsible for the amazing soundtracks in Castle
Crashers and have worked with Coca-Cola, Disney, Nickelodeon, and Marvel Entertainment.
They will be composing original soundtracks for Zombocalypse full of orchestral scores and Call
of Duty style music.

Summary of Timeline
Zombocalypse 2 would take at least 3 months and at most 5 months to complete.
Month 1: Pre-production, creation of game documents, assemble and brief talent to create the game
Month 2: Creation of art assets - Test art assets, prototype with programmer. Bring on board
Programmer to begin integrating art assets into gameplay
Month 3: Creating key game mechanics - Creation of UI assets
Month 4: Integrating polished UI, sounds, cut scenes, complete game mechanica
Month 5: Testing, final polish, finish game

Why Zombocalypse 2 Should Be Made
Early this year a developer cloned Zombocalypse to the Android platform titled "A Zombie Survival"
and released it for free. We quickly had Google remove the game from the Android Marketplace. The
game was very primitive and lacked the polish and features of the original.

Surprisingly the cloned game received almost 5 million downloads in the Android Marketplace alone.
There are numerous clones of Zombocalypse for Android, all are low quality and lack many of the main
features, but still receive a large amount of downloads. Originally he clones below all had the exact
same graphics as Zombocalypse. I contacted them to remove the game, they instead slightly changed
the graphics.

The Android clone of Zombocalypse reached the 19th position on the Top Free Apps section of the
Android Marketplace before I asked the Google team to remove the game .
Demand for Zombocalypse
There are millions of players downloading the cloned versions, but there is no game on the market,
whether Flash or Mobile, that is a solid high quality product that represents the Zombocalypse brand.
The original Zombocalypse has received millions of plays, and has spawned a strong following from
players who even post YouTube videos of them playing the game, receiving dozens of thousands of
views. We seek to create the titular experience that truly portrays the visceral experience of the original
on Flash, and in the future on iOS and Android.
