bicycle paths and it is planned to
prolong these to 65 km by the
year 2018. On a bike, you can easily
get to almost any area of the city,
to race with Mazbānītis, to get to
the Adventure Park, Staldzene, and
Būšnieku Lake.

which can be used to partially pay at various entertainment,
sightseeing and recreation places in Ventspils. Vents can be
earned by performing different activities in the Virtual Embassy
of Ventspils www.visitventspils.com. Virtually earned vents
can be exchanged to tangible Ventspils money in the Tourism
Information Centre after presenting an ID.
100 vents equal 1 lat, five different banknotes are available –
5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 vents.
