Safe and efficient collection of multiple recyclable streams is made possible by the combination of a high level automated plastic/can press system, various removable stillages, a card press unit and various storage compartments. Loading of all compartments & stillages is possible from both the nearside and offside of the vehicle giving great flexibility and improved collection efficiencies. > KERBLOADER® FEATURES Emergency stop system meets BS EN IS013850:2008 machinery safety Park brake monitoring & interlock prevents operation whilst driving External controls systems rated to IP67 specification Total collection volume of 33 cubic metres give a maximum payload of up to 4500kgs Optional Automatic Card Press system integrated into rear discharge door unit Automatic Upper Deck Plastic and Can Press system Lightweight, robust and rust-free composite side, rear and roof construction Features removable stillages with loading access from nearside and offside Stillages designed to accept food waste, glass and paper recyclable factions Eliminates cross-contamination of segregated materials *not available for glass stillages Optional Plastic Stillages to provide greater payload where required High volume, low density plastics and cans are loaded from both sides of the Upper Deck Charge Compartment. The interlocked loading hatches must be closed, ensuring operator safety, whilst materials in the Charge Compartment are raised to Upper Deck level before being automatically pressed to the rear of the Upper Deck Compartment by the Ejector Press Blade. ’Plug & Play’ components reduces vehicle off-road time Vehicle height warning reduces risk of driving with rear door raised Simple system isolation eliminates risk of unauthorised operation of the equipment Oil filtration to 6 microns on pressure and return line helps extend maintenance Burst hose protection ensures safety in the event of sudden hydraulic pressure loss Engine speed control reduces emissions & fuel consumption and increases safety Comprehensive training packages help increase safety and efficiency Extended warranties available Mounted at the rear of the vehicle, the Card Press Unit controls ensure safe, easy and foolproof operation of the manual and optional automatic operation modes. The Rear Door Card Collection/Press System allows the collection of high volumes of card, reducing material volume as it collects thanks to the intelligent Auto Press Cycle. Upper Deck Press and Ejection 1 Ejector Press Blade is in its press position. Upper Deck Charge Compartment is empty. 2 Materials loaded into Charge Compartment. Ejector Press Blade moves to front of Upper Deck & materials are raised to Upper Deck. 3 Ejector Press Blade moves back to its press position. Materials are pushed and pressed during its rearwards movement. 4 With the Ejector Press Blade back to its press position materials are now pressed to the rear of the Upper Deck Compartment. 5 Steps 1 to 4 are repeated. More materials are loaded via the Charge Compartment and pressed backwards on the Upper Deck. 6 When no more materials can be loaded (or the round is complete) the Upper Deck’s content are discharged via the Rear Door. 7 Rear Door is now fully open. The Ejection Press Blade discharges the pressed materials from the Upper Deck.
