Funniest biking memory......
Riding home with a group of us from the club after doing a 25 mile TT also at the age of 15. I was sat bolt upright on my bike due to a sore back after not being used to TT ing for that long. The guy running the club was with us and he Said “ Darn Norm you're riding that thing like A Harley Davidson” I didn know what a Harley was and thinking this Harley must be a cycling legend and I thought that he must be complimenting me on my riding .so I replied “ So does he ride like that then?…they guy just looked at me and sighed and my mates had a huge chuckle 5 minutes with……
Norm Gray
Most memorable bike ride ever……. Was a club ride with my original club in England GS Europa at the age of 15. we rode for some 6 hours on rolling hills around Hampshire southern England at sort of a false tempo .It made me realize that I could ride a bike.. Favourite bike trails?
I don’t do trails that much except to try and get up things, but enjoy riding up the Pole track or to Trappers gap and beyond or up to the TV towers via the Red gate in the tree trail. Favourite reading material?
Always looking for more jokes Who would you most like to go for a ride
with?
To go for a ride with Kieth Mernicle or Eric Stone [a couple of English Cx legends of the 70s) and show them around our CX course 7 Junior News
