HYATT house Pittsburgh SouthSide
Oxford Development Company opened Pittsburgh’s first HYATT house
with a soft opening on April 24th. The 136-room HYATT house hotel is
located in the SouthSide Works section of Pittsburgh pending LEED®
certification. A Grand Opening slated for June 6, 2013.
The property is owned by a joint-venture partnership between
Concord Hospitality Enterprises of Raleigh, NC, who will also manage
the hotel, and Oxford, who led the development of the project. The
site is located on Water Street, along the Monongahela River, with
access to the Riverfront Trail.
Pittsburgh SouthSide HYATT house
All HYATT house guest suites feature a contemporary design offering
a full kitchen, living area and a separate bedroom. An oversized desk
and ergonomic chair, vibrant artwork and warm lighting complete the
comfortable, stylish atmosphere.
One of the specific amenities of the Southside Works HYATT house is
the direct access to the Riverfront Trail along with bicycle storage and
a repair station for guests.
Southside Works HYATT house Bistro
HAYTT house public spaces are designed to provide the comfort and
sociability of a neighborhood, including a lounge area with den-style
seating for groups of all sizes.
Guests will also find the enhanced complimentary full breakfast buffet,
offered daily, as well as an Evening Social, which takes place nightly
Monday - Thursday in the Bistro. The 24-hour Guest Market offers
a variety of easy-to-prepare items or guests can take advantage of
complimentary grocery shopping services.

Services, Inc., Mr. Tosi is responsible for
leasing and disposition services and
tenant/buyer representation. Within
these service lines, Joe specializes in the
office and industrial real estate markets.

in the commercial real estate industry
and an understanding that each
transaction is unique, and prides
himself on adapting his services to
meet each of his clients’ needs.

home by mid-summer.
Over the past two years, Mr. Tosi
has carried out and closed over 130
transactions encompassing 550,000 SF
with a total value of $25 million .

It Was 30 Years Ago Today . . .
One Oxford Centre Celebrates its 30th Anniversary
This year marks the 30th Anniversary for One Oxford Centre, the jewel
in Oxford Development Company’s portfolio and one of downtown
Pittsburgh’s brightest office towers.
The groundbreaking was held in July 1980, marking the beginning of the
City of Pittsburgh’s Renaissance II, with the Grand Opening in April 1983.
Its 45 stories of aluminum, glass, and granite shape the Pittsburgh skyline
and are recognized as one of the premier business addresses in the city.
One Oxford Centre consists of 1 million square feet mixed-use space
including 850,000 square feet of Class A office space, a five-level atrium
housing dining facilities, designer boutiques, gift and specialty shops and a
complete dining/athletic club, the Rivers Club. One Oxford Centre’s garage
contains 840 parking spaces on ten levels.
Construction On One Oxford Centre - July 1981
Oxford has events planned throughout the month of June for the public
and special events for building tenants. Tuesday, June 4th kicks off the
Anniversary Celebration from 10:30 am – 2:00 pm. Events will include
exhibits, concerts on the outdoor plaza and special give a ways.

Glade Run Lutheran Services, with four locations in Western Pennsylvania,
has selected Oxford Athletic Club as the recipient of the Knights of the
Kingdom Congregation Award.
The Knights of the Kingdom Award is an honorary membership society
that recognizes individuals, congregations and businesses who have made a
significant contribution in one of the following areas: time, talent or program

Oxford wishes to congratulate our long-time tenant Thorp
Reed & Armstrong LLP on receipt of a LEED®-CI certification
from the US Green Building Council for renovations recently
completed to their office space at One Oxford Centre.
This five floor renovation included over 102,000 SF of space
and was designed by The Design Alliance. Sustainable project
elements included diversion of 75% of construction waste from
the landfill, recycled products and furniture, energy efficient
plumbing and lighting fixtures and controls, Energy Star
qualified appliances, and a comprehensive recycling program.

services for the $100 million Highmark Medical Mall facility site

Hot Metal Residential is a $36.5 million residential development of
175 apartments, 180 parking spaces, and 25,000 SF of ground level
retail located along Hot Metal Street in the SouthSide Works.
Homewood Station Senior Housing - Pittsburgh, PA
Oncology Nursing Society - Pittsburgh, PA
Homewood Station is an $11.5 million, mixed-use development
of 41 new mixed-income residential units. The four-story building
will also include ground floor commercial space for neighborhood
businesses as well as a café.
