nurse midwives, and certified registered nurse
practitioners stand ready to help you proactively
manage your health. We maintain on-site laboratory
and imaging resources so OBGYN of Lancaster

SPOTLIGHT ON MINIMALLY INVASIVE SURGERY
Keshonda’s Story
For years, Keshonda lived in discomfort but she didn’t
know what was wrong. At the recommendation
of her cousin, she saw Dr. Sharee Livingston who
quickly discovered Keshonda had a fibroid as large
as a football on her uterus. Knowing Keshonda had
to get back to work and her active life, Dr. Livingston
performed minimally invasive surgery, which offered
less pain and a faster recovery. Keshonda felt great
after surgery and was up and walking later that night.
And within weeks she was back at both of her busy,
demanding jobs as a mail carrier and waitress.
The Women’s Place offers private birthing suites, many
with labor-easing whirlpool bath tubs. The Women’s
Place also offers 24/7 in-hospital OB/GYNs, midwives,
neonatologists and anesthesiologists and the security
of the Level III NICU.
