May 2015 - Brea Bead Works!
April - May 2015
Dynamic Duo’s Necklace \ $65
Saturday, April 4 (10am-5pm)
Flat Even Count Peyote fs \ $25
Thursday, April 16 (6-9pm)
You will notice that this unique necklace combines an
Ndebele stitch and a two-drop peyote stitch to create a
most attractive Ndebele (herringbone) effect. Sure to catch
everyone’s attention, choosing a Super Duo color that
contrasts with your seed bead color will make for an even
more dramatic look. Basic bead weaving experience
is required. Materials list.
Join us as we learn one of the most basic off-loom bead
weaving technique. The peyote stitch has been seen in
Native American beadwork as well as Ancient Egyptian
artifacts. It can be woven in an even count or odd count
of beads per row, although this class will be focused on the
more popular even count. We’ll be making this simple and
fashionable band bracelet featuring a Z hook clasp as the
focal. All skill levels welcome. Materials list.

Swingtime Chandeliers \ $25
Saturday, April 18 (10am-12pm)
Learn the secrets of wire working as we create the most

created by you! Heavy gauge wire requires good hand
strength. All skill levels welcome. Materials list.
These delicate Swingtime Chandeliers are fun, fun, fun.
