The Crescendo Trust of Aotearoa - DIY Songwriting,
Production and Beat Making Workshop.
Learn how to write, produce and record a track from
scratch. Find out about making a beat, lyric writing
and chorus hooks, and mixing and mastering a
recording. Learn entertainment legal rights around
royalties and APRA. Explore band/artist photography
and video to create an online presence to showcase
your creativity. Workshop participants will take away
a MP3 and WAV file of their track.
FEE: $15
This workshop encompasses the art of the written
and spoken word. You will be taken through the
fundamentals of the craft and guided to create your
own piece of poetry which you will bring to life by
performing it in the workshop. The workshop is
open to all skill levels, whether you are a beginner,
an experienced poet or even if you’ve never written
anything before.
