2016 SUMMER SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES Weathervane Playhouse How your sponsorship helps your Business: Weathervane Playhouse audience members are your customers, or potential customers. The majority of our Season Ticket Subscribers are long-standing, loyal patrons who reside in Newark, Heath, Granville, and Columbus. Through your Sponsorship, you will receive many advertising and marketing opportunities to expose your business to our audience, as well as our community. How your sponsorship helps the Community: Many people agree the arts have a positive sociological impact on communities. There is also an economic impact. According to the latest annual survey by Theatre Communications Group, nonprofit theaters contributed $2 billion to the national economy in 2012, an increase from the $1.9 billion reported in 2010. Weathervane Playhouse, with the aid of our Patrons and Sponsors, contribute to our local economy in various ways: Increased tourism (approximately 70% of our 2015 Season Ticket holders reside in the Newark, Heath and Granville area, while the remainder travel from Columbus, Pataskala, Reynoldsburg, New Albany, Westerville, Buckeye Lake, Zanesville, Lancaster, and beyond); shopping (many of our purchases for show items are spent at local businesses and stores); employment (approximately 40 people will be locally employed or contracted to live in Licking County throughout the 2016 Summer Season). Weathervane Playhouse has a long history of drawing talented actors, crew, and staff from around the country to live, work, and become an active member of the Licking County community. How your sponsorship helps Weathervane Playhouse: Your financial sponsorship directly contributes to the production of each of our main stage shows. There are many behind-the-scenes, as well as on-stage elements, that go into producing a high-quality, professional play or musical: costumes, props, scenery, lights and sound; plus, the designers, technicians, and actors who bring the stage to life are just part of the work and dedication it takes to create live theatre. 2016 SUMMER SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES 2016 SUMMER SEASON PREMIER SPONSOR Available: Exclusive Cost: $5,000 - $10,000 • Sponsorship includes all five 2016 Summer Season shows • Advertising on our lobby screen throughout the 2016 Summer Season • Full page color ad in the 2016 Summer program • You may provide promotional material to be distributed, or on display in our lobby area during 2016 Summer Season • Company logo on the inside front and back cover of 2016 Summer program • Company name and/or logo included in advertising (radio, newspaper, press releases) for 2016 Summer Season • Logo included on 2016 Summer posters and promotional material • Recognized as a Premier Sponsor on the Weathervane Playhouse website with logo and link • Company logo and link included in the 2016 Summer e-mail newsletters • Banner displayed at theatre entrance throughout the 2016 Summer Season.
