 WELCOME I am very excited about this year’s School of Worship! There are some great things stirring in the Worship community, and we are seeing unprecedented movement in the earth toward “spirit and truth” worship. But if we are really going to see our cities transformed into the Habitation of God, we are going to need more than just a few creative folks writing nice songs and pulling off good Sunday services-­‐ We need a company of people who carry the Sound of Heaven and know how to release it! We will be focusing on three key areas this year that we feel are necessary for any communities’ transformative process. We will be working toward developing your Personal, Corporate, and Regional sound. With teaching from top leaders from this city and around the nation, master level musicianship mentoring, and time for practical application, You will be not only equipped musically, but Spiritually attuned to hear from Heaven for your city and region. Also something very exciting, we are offering an opportunity for you and your team to be a part of our city-­‐wide worship outreach called “The Sound”. 50 hours of non-­‐stop worship with churches from all over the Las Vegas valley and the nation! Thousands attended last year’s event and we are believing for teams from all over the nation to join us as we gather to lift up Jesus Independence Day Weekend-­‐ This will be a summer to remember! Michael Leyde-­‐ Worship Pastor ICLV General Info June 28-­‐July 6th 2013 The Sound School of worship is a non-­‐accredited one-­‐week intensive designed to train and equip worshippers spiritually, emotionally, and practically for city-­‐wide transformation. The School will conclude with The Sound: 50 Hours of Worship in the heart of Las Vegas. Tuition: Payments: A non-­‐refundable fee of $25 is due upon registration. Tuition: $300 Due June 18th 2013 (paid in full) Refund Policy: The following percentages of money paid will be refunded in the event the student withdraws: Withdrawal during first week of classes: 20% Audit Weekend: Includes 3 sessions with Ray Hughes and breakouts with local Worship leaders and Musicians. June 28-­‐29. $85 Due by June 28th. FACULTY RAY HUGHES-­‐ founder of Selah Ministries, has been in full time ministry for 40 years. He received his Doctorate of Divinity in 1996. He travels in the U.S. and internationally as a speaker, author, storyteller, singer/songwriter and musicologist. In addition to his research and teaching expertise, Ray is recognized internationally as a clear prophetic voice. Ray is passionate about training musicians, releasing creative people into their destinies, and launching them with purpose into the world and church. He is a prophetic historian who re-­‐digs the wells of biblical, world and recent history for the purpose of releasing the fresh word of God for the kingdom today. MICHAEL LEYDE-­‐ Michael has served as the Executive Director of the Worship Department at ICLV for the past 10 years. With over 14 years of ministry experience, he has had the privilege of leading worship in ten different nations and ministered to thousands of people out of his deep love for the Presence of God. The writer of over 100 worship songs, he has recorded 6 albums, and is the Executive Director of The Sound International-­‐ a growing national worship movement. He and his wife Norina have 3 boys; Jonathan, River, and Valor. MARK MCARTHUR-­‐ Mark is a freelance musician, private instructor, music educator, and consultant based in the Las Vegas area where he has lived the since 2001. He is currently the Adjunct Professor of Saxophone at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he maintains a thriving studio. He performs regularly as a recitalist in both solo and chamber music, and has a special interest in new commissions for saxophone. He received both his Masters in Music, Saxophone Performance and Bachelors in Music Education and Performance from the University of Arizona. In 2001, Mark moved to Las Vegas where he taught for 9 years in the Clark County School District as a high school band director. During those years his bands received the highest rating and honors at music festivals. He now maintains an active private studio which touts some of the most outstanding saxophonists in Nevada, and consults with local band directors and their students. October 20th, 2007 Mark had a transforming experience in his life as he attended The Call, Las Vegas where he was healed by God of severe back pain resulting from an accident in 1994. This defining moment thrust Mark into a passion for worshiping Jesus and using his talents to serve. CHAD VEGAS-­‐ Chad Vegas is the Creative Director and a Worship Leader at the International Church of Las Vegas. He grew up in a musical family from Hawaii. Upon moving to Las Vegas he attended Las Vegas Master's Commission where he studied worship and media. After being on staff at the International Church of Las Vegas he went on to start his own post production company. 5 years later he returned to ICLV to take the position as Creative Director. His dynamic skills in drumming and singing, has led him to play with various Christian recording artists such as Michael Leyde, Jason Upton, Hillsong, Ron Kenoly, and Phil Driscol. Never straying far from his first love, worship and music; Chad is always striving to be on the cutting edge of media and entertainment, whether it be behind the camera, in front of the camera, or with post production. His talent for video production, and arranging music is fresh and relevant. Chad brings a new sound of depth that connects to this generation. Be assured you will enjoy what ever he does. RON GOLLNER As a member of Hollywood’s prestigious Recording Academy, Ronald E. Gollner has logged over ten thousand hours of studio time as a session vocalist, bassist and keyboardist; was the lead singer for 80’s CCM band, Northbound (who logged a song in Billboard’s top five), and recorded seven albums of his own material. After studying and working with Grammy winning producers Bill Bottrell (Sheryl Crow; Madonna; Michael Jackson) and John and Dino Elefante (Petra, Carmen, Guardian) he has gone on to produce fifty albums for other artists and has over one hundred-­‐thirty songs published worldwide. Writing under the pen name, R.G. Ryan, he authored the late Las Vegas icon, Danny Gans’ biography as well as seven novels and three books of non-­‐fiction. Currently lead pastor of River Church Las Vegas, Ron brings over forty years of ministry experience into his seminar on, “Identifying And Releasing Your Own Sound.” BRENT LUCK-­‐ Brent Luck is a Prophet of God who is called to preach and prophecy, changing the way people perceive. Training people to operate in true spiritual power and authority, both within the church and in our everyday living. He is also a prophetic worship leader who creates an atmosphere of heavenly glory where God's holy presence is felt. Brent's heart is to lead people into the presence of God. Brent is married to his precious wife Melissa and they have a son Devin, and two daughters, Zofia and Samantha. They live in Las Vegas, NV where they are in covenant relationship with Dennis and Lynnie Walker and Dunamis Apostolic Resource Center. ZACK WECHSLER-­‐ Zack Wechsler and his wife, Rachelle, founded The Encounter Community Church in the Las Vegas valley in March of 2009. Zack has been in ministry for over 10 years serving as a Worship Pastor, Associate Pastor, and as Lead Pastor. Zack surrendered his life to the call of God at the age of 17 and has quickly become a bold prophetic voice for this generation. Through revelatory teaching, fiery preaching, and worship leading, Zack continues to impart fire, break chains, and call people into their destiny. Zack and Rachelle have been happily married for over 13 years and are blessed with 5 children. 1

CHRIS RITCHIE-­‐ Chris Ritchie is the Worship Culture Pastor at The Encounter Community Church in Henderson, NV. He is also the director of Encounter Worship Culture and Encounter School of Worship & Creative Arts. Chris has a passion to see Heaven released in worship and film and believes the primary purpose of the church is to be a dwelling place for God. His core value is that God is in a good mood, and his worship leading reflects that. His first album, Let My Faith Arise was released in 2007 and he is currently working on his latest EP entitled Release the Dreamers. VINCE CASAS-­‐ Vince Casas is a professional songwriter and musician and serves as an exceptional instructor within the Audio Production Department at IADT Las Vegas. His expertise in Pro Tools, Reason, Sibelius, musical composition, songwriting, guitar, and large format analog consoles has inspired and developed many of the department’s finest students. As a frequent member of the ICLV worship team, Vince has developed his craft of worshipping through the use of ambient, rhythmic, and lead electric guitar. He has been an active part of ICLV since 2004 and assisted in several of ICLV’s worship albums. Vince is a Gibson USA artist, a member of BMI, and has received EMI national distribution of his collective works. A Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Music from Greenville College, Greenville, Illinois combined with professional experience and formal training in voice, guitar, and piano allow him to contribute greatly to the ICLV worship training experience. SERGIO OCANAS-­‐ Sergio Ocanas is a worship leader and the lead pastor of ICLV En Español. He is a pianist, composer, arranger and music director. Sergio is a skilled musician who graduated with a music degree and has over 20 years of experience as a worship leader. He is bilingual (English-­‐Spanish). Sergio loves his wife and three children. GENISE BROWN-­‐ Genise Brown is a professional vocalist and music instructor. Currently, she teaches privately and through scheduled appointments at Ensemble Arts Academy in Las Vegas, NV. Genise grew up singing in the church and has always had a passion for music and worship. She believes that music is a powerful tool, and knows her gift becomes even more powerful when used for it's TRUE purpose: to bring all honor and glory to Jesus Christ! JACOB YARBROUGH-­‐ with a B.A. in Music from ORU, Jacob has been playing the bass now for nine years as his primary instrument, as well as guitar and trumpet both for three years. He has also had the opportunity to lead and join several different bands traveling all over the world creating training camps to teach music and evangelism through music and worship. His first album recording as a bassist is on the ORU Live album, Come Like A Flood. It is Jacob's heart to see lives changed completely by the Holy Spirit functioning through the gift of music.
