with any curriculum you choose to use for
you child. Come “SEE” and learn math for

veteran and mother of 12, show you how to
add another dimension to your “educational
package” – field trips, hands-on learning, real

Wonder Years or Thunder Years?
Reaching the Heart of Your Middle
Schooler
Room A
Preparing the Way Ministries
The Middle School years are becoming
known as sort of the “Devil’s Triangle” in our
American culture. These years are pivotal as
our kids further define who they are and set
the course for their lives as teenagers and
young adults. As homeschooling parents, we
have a definite advantage in raising our
‘tweenagers outside the daily barrage of peer
pressure, but that doesn’t guarantee smooth
sailing on the choppy waters of adolescence.
Join Rebecca Powell of Preparing the Way
Ministries to learn how to guard against the
dangers lurking in these ‘tween and early
teen years by focusing your parenting on
three essential Christian virtues.

contain and gives you an objective method

our Christian worldview has the only
answers to the profound questions every
civilization asks about God, His creation,
man, morality, and government. Such an integrated study of history, literature, and the
arts will give a student a profound understanding of the world from their Biblical
view. This workshop will help parents and
students to explore what these classes
involve and determine if this type of learning
experience would be right for their individual needs.
Creationism as Doctrine and Science:
Integrating Doctrine into Education
Room D
Bob Jones University
Christians are under increasing pressure to
accept modern evolutionary theory and set
aside a straightforward interpretation of
Genesis. But what does it matter? Is the
Biblical account of creation important to

educators and students approach evolution
and creation? This session will tackle these
and other questions from a Biblical perspective.
