SPRING/SUMMER AT COEUR DE LION.
The new spring/summer collection 2013 combines a consistent look with intense colours.
The ethnic lines Indian Coeur and African
Coeur pick up on the season’s top shades.
Indigo blue, bright red, camel and petrol blue dominate the Indian-inspired
pieces, which can be twinned with
anything from exquisite dresses to
jeans and blouses. Meanwhile, African
Coeur is the perfect addition to a laidback safari look or understated outfits in
refined, natural shades. This line combines
coconut brown and topaz with camel and olive green – some of the trend colours for 2013.
Indian Coeur and African Coeur – two fresh colour worlds.
These two colour worlds are used for classics from the Geo
Cube collection as well as new creations such as fashionable rhinestone chandelier necklaces and an XXL pendant
suspended from a mid-length, multi-stranded nappa
leather cord. Each strand of nappa is a different colour,
picking out shades from the rhinestones inlaid into the
stainless-steel pendant. The stainless steel has a practical
added bonus: the back of the pendant can be used as a compact mirror.

Colours for every taste: strawberry, mandarin, grapefruit …
Light and airy pastels are another recurring theme in the palette of colours. Shades
such as mint, aqua and strawberry are used for a number of classic designs in 2013
– and are quite consciously reminiscent of sorbet colours. From multicoloured jewellery to shades of the same colour, the pieces are sold separately or as a set with a
ring, bracelet and earrings.
Other new additions include jewellery with handmade glass pyramids, which are
available in multicoloured fluorescent pastels and sandy, natural tones combined
with vanilla, chalk white and stone grey. These necklaces come with a long, 80 cm
chain or as two closer-fitting versions with a 45 cm chain.
A colourful makeover for stainless steel.
The new spring/summer collection 2013 makes greater use of stainless steel – for
example, combined with coloured materials to create stainless-steel pendants, which
are becoming increasingly popular. This high-grade material is also ideal for COEUR
DE LION’s entire ring collection.
