Gene Lamar Lahr
WACO, TEXAS • Gene
Lamar Lahr, 64, died March
28 at his residence.
He was born in Red Cross,
Pa., a son of the late
Raymond Lahr and Essie
Attinger Lahr Graybill.
He was preceded in death
by his parents; his stepfather, Harold Graybill; and
an infant brother.
He is survived by his wife,
Martha Morris Lahr; two
children, Teresa and Robert
Lahr; stepchildren; step-

grandchildren; and siblings:
Fay Nichols of Berrysburg,
Pa., Cynthia Ingalls of
Waterbury, Conn., Donna

Cemetery.

Margaret M. Kachniasz, 100,
a resident of Frey Village,
formerly of Williamstown,
died April 5 at the village.
She was born March 23,
1916, in Branchdale, a
daughter of the late Stephen
and Anna Plicter Fazekas.
She attended the former
Williamstown Catholic High
School.
She was a member of
Sacred Heart of Jesus
Catholic Church, Williams-
Helwig; and two brothers,
Miles and Harvey Doan.
She is survived by a
brother, Robert Doan; a sister, Sarah Van Houten of
Fla., and several nieces and
nephews.
A graveside service was
held
at
the
Berwick
Cemetery, Berwick.
Contributions may be

She was preceded in death
by her husband of 62 years,
Sylvester; two sisters, Anna
Katcher and Betty Labuck.
She is survived by a son,

April 3 at Harrisburg
Hospital.
He was born Dec. 29,
1928, in Wiconisco, a son of
the late Samuel Sr. and

Kathryn
Confair.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of both

Lykens

American
Williamstown
Legions and Wiconisco Fire
Co.
He was preceded in death
by two sons, James and
Gary.
He is survived by his
