Welcome to the first annual Wei Under Par Holiday Gift
Guide. I hope it provides helpful insight while you’re
shopping this holiday season for your golfing friends and
family (and perhaps even something for yourself).
Most of the items featured are currently available for
purchase on the linked websites, but several are part of the
companies’ new 2014 collections and (as noted) will not be
available until the new year. However, we’ll be unveiling our
inaugural Spring Look Book in January when the majority of
items spotlighted will be available, so stay tuned!
This year we’re featuring products from more than
20 companies. Some of my favorites include the new
TaylorMade SpeedJet Driver, the first of its kind to
incorporate the “Speed Pocket.” In other words, you’ll
crush it even farther off the tee. I’m a big fan of the sharplooking Callaway Apex irons, too. And you wouldn’t be set
without putting your clubs in a chic and classy Original
Jones Golf Bag, or protecting that driver with a Seamus
Golf headcover.
The Tin Cup ball marker engraving devices are perfect for
stocking stuffers, and for college sports enthusiasts they
are customizable with dozens of universities. KENTWOOL
socks are another good one to throw in there. I know, I
know, *socks* are so boring, but trust me, you’ll thank me
later. Check out the ScoreBand for all your time- and scorekeeping needs, too.
As for apparel, I can’t live without my Maui Jim Guardrail
sunglasses, the Fila Golf Rimini Skort, which is a fantastic
fit and length, and the Nike No-Sew Knit Skort, which I
have in — no joke — five different colors. You can match all
the skorts with vibrant G/FORE gloves that come in every
shade of the rainbow.
Two of my most-loved products I’ve tested thoroughly and
can vouch for them with conviction — the Adams Tight
Lies Fairway Wood (not shown), which I’d snuggle with if
that weren’t weird, and the Club Glove Burst Proof with
Wheels II, which, for someone who travels regularly, like
myself, is a lifesaver.
