FROM THE CEO
Easy Season and Sunblock
F
or some obscure reason, I just can’t get
Lionel Richie’s classic tune... “Easy
Like a Sunday Morning” out of my
head (sorry - now it’s in yours!), ever since
we began discussing concepts and deals
surrounding the Spring ‘Easy Season’ offers.
The only thing worse, would be… well…
actually I don’t think there is anything
worse than Lionel Richie in your head (or in
the fridge - if you know the advert I mean).
This spring, no matter what you think of Lionel
Richie, you have got to love the plethora of
offers and options to ski or snowboard at Falls
Creek, or simply just come up the mountain for
a ‘Spring Break’ all through September.
Falls Creek Ski Lifts have some absolute
cracker deals, like: the Spring Pass,
BFF and Father’s Day offers. Resort
Management have dropped entry prices
too, whilst many of the accommodation
providers have spring skiing deals to
match. Go here to secure yours: www.

I have always loved spring skiing. For
families, what better time of year to learn to
ski, or squeeze in that last cheeky trip for the
season (hint: come up for Onesie weekend).
The sun is shining (generally), the kids have
a hoot of a time - few if any complaints about
being cold and the abundance of offers make
it a compelling value proposition, whilst the
runs are generally beginner friendly with
fewer people than peak times. Then there’s
the backcountry spring corn. Whatever you
do decide to do, just don’t forget the sunblock
and install the Sun Smart app!
There is fraternity that exists in ‘ski towns’
and across snow sports in general, and it is
one of the many great reasons why I enjoy
being involved in the industry.
There is a certain connection which is hard
to define, and perhaps we shouldn’t attempt
to either, but rather just embrace it for what
it is, and, for whatever it is, since it somehow
draws the industry and participants together
with a connectedness few other pursuits do.
Most differences of opinion are shelved
(temporarily), whilst the rally to a cause is
always supported, the community spirit
percolates to the top and participation is
embraced and the collective resources that
can get behind an initiative are tremendous.
To this end, I’d like to publicly acknowledge
the Wagga Alpine Ski Club for generously
donating an Automated External
Defibrillator (AED). Falls Creek Ski Patrol
have installed and mounted the device at
WASC for public use in any emergency
circumstance. To further emphasise my
point, there are countless similar examples
of such community spirit through-out the
village every year, from SES bbq’s, Ski Patrol
raffles and CFA fund raisers… to name a
few. To all who contribute, a big thank you.
In addition to this, there are the events like
the “Light the Night” campaign, which
from 6pm on Saturday, September 5th,
will rally with the Leukaemia Foundation
to raise funds to fight for a future free of
leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
To raise funds for this cause, lanterns
will be available for purchase in Slalom
Plaza (or prior to the event at the FCRM
offices). Visitors will then take their lantern
up the Falls Express chairlift to ski down
Wombats Ramble in a brilliant show of
solidarity to fund the fight to find a cure.
Finally, don’t forget the Dads… Sunday
6th of September, is Father’s Day! Now get
out there and hit the sunny slopes! •

LIGHT THE NIGHT
Please Join Us!
L
ight the Night is an uplifting, visually
stunning event that brings families
together. Every lantern tells a story
because the colour has a special meaning;
gold to remember someone; white to reflect
on a personal journey or blue to support
others” - Adrian Collins, CEO of the
Leukaemia Foundation of Australia
For me, the story is personal. On January 3rd
2013, my friend Chloe lost her second battle with
Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Chloe was always
known as a bubbly, energetic, talkative and
friendly girl, and was one of the most delightful
people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.
Without the support of the Leukaemia
Foundation during her battle, Chloe and
her husband Sen would have been forced to
sell the home they had bought together and
worked hard to make their own. While Chloe
ultimately lost her battle, she was able to leave
on her terms, in her own home, surrounded by
friends and family. Even more importantly, the
assistance the Foundation provided enabled
Sen and Chloe to spend more precious time
together while they could.
Leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma can
develop in anyone, of any age, at any time.
Often with little warning and in acute cases,
may require treatment within 24 hours of
diagnosis. It turns lives upside down overnight.
Combined with costly medical bills and loss
of income, many families find themselves in
financially crippling circumstances whilst
coping with the shock and emotional turmoil
associated with the diagnosis.
This is where the Leukaemia Foundation steps
in, providing personalised support and care for
patients and families right throughout their
journey, from diagnosis, treatment to recovery.
They receive no ongoing government funding
and rely on the generous support of corporate
supporters and the community.
I have participated in many Light The
Night walks in Melbourne, but the
opportunity to join one at Falls Creek is
really special as Chloe and I both learnt to
snowboard here before her diagnosis. Please
join me on Saturday September 5th to light
a lantern of hope for a world without blood
cancers and help raise some much needed
funds to allow the Foundation continue
their support of patients and their families.
Sometimes just knowing you’re not alone
in the fight can have an amazing effect on
someone’s journey. •

STILL GOOD TO GO!
And Plenty of Enjoyment
E
xcellent snow-making early on,
then good natural falls all add up to
the resort enjoying a good quality
season. And it appears there may be still
more to come.
If you take a moment to wander around
the village, as your editor does, while
delivering with his trusty side-kicks, there
are lots of signs of people enjoying their
time in the snow. Outside ASCOM in
Arlberg Street the families are playing
tobogganing and building snowmen with
their kids. Earlier in the season some-one

put together a fabulous Igloo (but the
photos never arrived). Elsewhere in the
village are even more snowmen - with
carrots, and grapes and sticks and beanies
- all resplendent in shape, size and attire.
Little jumps have been built and in general
everyone seems to be having a good time.
And there is still a lot more to do.
As we move into spring and September
you could be forgiven for saying that you
should have come for longer - because there
is heaps to enjoy.
On the back of your handy ‘less than’
pocket sized trail map is a list of the extra
activities that will make your holiday
much, much more than just skiing or
boarding - no matter how good it is! (And
everyone should have the Trail Map in
their pocket).
Once you have decided to take advantage
of one or more of the activities, you
may make a booking by phoning the
toll free number, 1800 204 424, or by
speaking with any of the staff in either of
the Falls Creek Sport shops - one in the
QT complex at the base of Falls Express
chairlift, and the other in the Village Bowl,
beside the Eagle Chairlift.
Snowmobile Tours
The opportunity to ride you own
snowmobile does not come along that
often. It sure ain’t gonna happen in Collins
Street - but it will happen on the slopes of

You can either ride your own machine (you

you can go out as the Pillion Passenger, on
the back with a competent guide. The snow,
the scenery, the fresh air - you definitely
ain’t gonna get in Collins Street. •
Back Country Tours

are steep, that’s the time to call Steve Lee

Steve represented Australia at the Olympics
three times. He also competed in World
Cup, winning the GS in Japan.
Steve, with his talented side-kick, Bond,

places you thought no-one should go - like

here in Falls Creek. •

FALLS FREESTYLE SERIES
Night Rambler & Banked
Slalom
W
elcome to spring! What a season
we have had so far with The
Falls Freestyle Series - especially
in the last weekend! Two inaugural events
sent heads spinning and tongues wagging,
introducing us to a whirlwind of talent and
ability from our local and imported riders
here in Falls Creek. The Falls Creek Night
Rambler and the Bandwagon Banked
Slalom still both have the mountain in a
flurry of bragging and chatter.
When we arrived down at Falls Express
and set up for the race, we had no idea the
lengths of seriousness some of the teams
had gone to to win. The tightest spandex,
cooked racing skis and streamline helmets
had us all in giggles as we watched teams
glare each other off as they got on the lift.
General Manager Francis Jackson almost
had flames coming from his ski’s as he
crossed the finish line, and although the
weather was not ideal, all the teams stayed
in high spirits for the entire night. As it
turns out too, Race Club Kids are the fastest
skier’s on the mountain. We predict they’ll
be bragging well into next season about it.
As the sun rose the next morning it was
full speed ahead for the weary Events
and Park boys as we head down to Route
66 with our Bandwagon and Cowboy
hats ready to start the next event. A first
for Falls Creek, we also jumped on the
bandwagon of doing a Banked Slalom
competition this year and I must say, we
did a cracking job! The course had jaw’s

end of the track. Let’s not forget to mention
best stack of the day, BJ Humphries who
did a double cork over the biggest net on the
hill, almost rolling the entire thing up for us
again. Not to worry - he was fished out of the
net like a stuck mermaid and was able to not
only finish the course, but smash out a killer
time the next lap around.
The western theme went down like a glass
of wine after a long day of work - smooth
and full of character! We had a cap gun
shoot off, western accents and western
tunes pumping all day. Our only issue was
Park Ranger Jack Johnson had troubles
holstering his weapons and kept dropping
them on course (what a rookie!).

THE COCKTAIL COMPETITION
Winners All Round
T
he inaugural Falls Creek Cocktail
competition, sponsored by Mumm
Champagne, had its final night on
Monday night at Stingray. Coming into
the final round saw Oishii Go leading by
just half a point over Astra and Stingray
only two points behind them.
The first round was held at Oishii Go and was
won by Team Astra (after a sexy dance off). The
second round was held at Astra and won by
team Oishii. The final round saw all the teams
save the best for last, resulting in their best
scores for the competition. Team Stingray’s final
cocktail scored almost top scores making them
the clear winners for round three.
The clearly over-qualified judges were Steve Lee
from Steve Lee’s Backcountry Tours, Francis
Jackson - General Manager from Falls Creek
Lift Co and Marnie Searles from Kilimanjaro
Apartments. As they sat and collated the
scores, the contestants began to party for
what was to be a long and enjoyable night.
We would like to thank all the contestants
that put a lot of time and effort into this
event - all trying to do their best for not only
their respective venues, but into making Falls
Creek a fun and exciting Après ski resort.
Team Stingray consisted of Olivia Tarten and
Tara Yensch; team Oishii was Taryn Perrett
and Tarsha Autio and team Astra had the boys
with Dave Thompson and Thomas Mayer the
First. The wisdom imparted by Dave and Tom,
the fast facts and trivia from Olivia, the Geisha
costumes from Taryn and Tarsha all made for a
fun and interesting event, however Tara’s special

concoctions, jelly infused ingredients and the
flames pouring from one jug to another, gave
her the prize for best showman and she took
home a $100 voucher at Oishii Go.
So it was time to announce the winners, and
controversially we had a tie, with Team Oishii
and Team Stingray both coming in first place,
just half a point in front of Team Astra. We
debated a dance off between the girls, but
decided it was probably inappropriate, we
suggested another cocktail, but the judges
simply couldn’t drink anymore, so it was
announced that both Stingray and Oishii
would be joint winners.
Franno from Falls Creek Lift Co announced
that all four winners would receive season passes
for the 2016 season and third place a 2 for 1
deal. Steve Lee from Steve Lee’s Backcountry
Tours also gave a tour for all four winners and a
2 for 1 deal to the third team. Marnie also gave
a weekend for an Apartment at Kilimanjaro
Apartments to the third place getter.
The paper believes that all six contestants
are going out on Steve Lee’s tour one day
next week and are going to crack open
their magnum of Mumm Champagne
donated by Stingray and QT Resort.
This event was the idea of Luke Murphy from
Stingray and a big thank you goes out to him.
It is hoped that the event continues from year

to year and grows bigger and better each year.
It was put on to highlight the wonderful and
diverse boutique bars and restaurants that are
in Falls Creek and hopefully reinvigorate the
Après and Cocktail culture at Falls Creek and
further enhance the guests experience.
It was great to see Astra, Stingray and Oishii
Go working together to ensure the success
of this event and the wonderful support
from the Falls Creek Lift Company, Steve
Lee’s Backcountry Tours and Kilimanjaro
Apartments. This broad support and
involvement is exactly what is needed to make
Falls Creek remain not only the best Ski
Resort in Australia , but the most fun too.
Once again, congratulations to Oishii Go and
Stingray teams, who did do a dance off much
later at another venue, but that’s another story! •

CROSS COUNTRY NEWS
XC Commitment
A
s Ronice Goebel puts it, she had “an
urban upbringing.” However you
never would have guessed it; nor
would you have guessed that Ronice didn’t
start skiing until she was 20. “Apart from
Christmas cards, I did not know anything
about snow.” None-the-less, as soon as
Ronice got a taste of the white stuff there
was no turning back.
“At Uni, the student union ran a ski trip to
Baw Baw and I was hooked after day one.
We were poor students, so I bought those
good old ‘MICA’ XC skis that were the
latest back then. I just knew I loved this
thing called snow and skiing, and it was so
fun adventuring with friends.”
Eventually Ronice moved to the northeast
after a fortuitous meeting and to further her
love of the alpine area. “I was a leader on a
Mountain and Ski Tour Leaders Course and
met Rod Withers, an artist and Jaffa’s father!
After meeting at Luna Park to plan a hiking
trip to Tassie and then having a great time
there, I guess we got on pretty well. Rod had
relocated to Harrietville and a job came up
at Bogong Outdoor Centre which I applied
for, and here I am.”
The move to Bogong Village only poured more
fuel on the fire and drove Ronice’s passion for
skiing and all things outdoors. “As a young
teacher I was in a dream job. I loved being
in the mountains and I loved teaching in the
outdoors. And yes, after an urban upbringing, I
loved winter and skiing and getting to know the
Bogong High Plains. Life was an adventure and
still is. There were a lot of experienced people I
learnt from and it was a fabulous opportunity to
learn all manner of things.”
After a long teaching stint at Bogong, Ronice
jumped valleys and started teaching at Bright
P-12 College. Ronice was a key member in
creating the School’s ski team and almost
single-handedly started a Nordic ski program

at the school to go along with the already
existing downhill program. “Naturally I took
on the Outdoor Education program, developed
courses and got involved in the life of the
community that included XC skiing! Bright
is predominantly DH ski focused, but had a
good school ski program and we somehow
developed a passion for XC and built a hub of
people, (including the Kovacs family!) so keen
that we did really well at Interschools and got
kudos from that. I also helped run the primary
school ski program that let kids ski, build things
and have fun so they wanted to keep doing it.
Looking back, cross country skiing was also a
less expensive way for people to enjoy skiing as it
was more accessible and inclusive.”
Alongside her work in Outdoor Education,
Ronice has been a very active member of
the Victorian Ski Squad and the Birkebeiner
Nordic Ski Club (currently the president).
Ronice has also been the manager for the Vic
team for a number of years now, leading trips
overseas and organising camps within Victoria.
The team has grown now to roughly 50
athletes, which is a huge credit to her and many
others. “Yes it’s huge now. The Vic Squad was
resurrected by Keebs, (Brian Keeble) and Finn
(Marsland) back in 2002 and I got involved

when my daughter Jaffa was in the squad. I
think Keebs asked me to organise a BBQ and
here I am today. Initially it was small, but with
huge enthusiasm from Jacinta O’Neill and
JC Legras (who is still coaching), it has now
expanded to about 30 skiers in the team and 20
young skiers in the development squad.”
Ronice attributes the booming growth within
the Vic team to the families and the positive
atmosphere within the group. “Its growth
is testament to the families enthusiasm and
inclusive approach to junior sport that is
based on fun, friendship and challenge. It
also reflects the program that includes four
off snow camps including a surf camp at
Anglesea, adventure camp at Millgrove and
Lake Mountain, and a biennial training camp
overseas to North America. We also have
lots of athletes who are fantastic role models
coming back, who get involved in coaching.”
It seems that over the years, Ronice’s

passion and love for the snow and all
things outdoors has only grown stronger.
Ronice has spent the last few years
travelling around the world competing
in cross-country and Worldloppet races.
She has found herself all over the world in
some fairly far-flung places. “Loppet races

friends. Could I turn? Well, eventually
the telemark turn changed the way we

now passing her skills along to the next

for 2015. The weather was fabulous for
the final day which saw 28 participants
compete - ranging from under 7 years
to under 15. At the completion of the
race, the presentations were held. Each
participant received a special Snow Trek

participants received a special Telemark
Nordic Ski Club medal for competing
in all Snow Trek and Travel Mini Series
races for 2015. Over all we had 78
children compete across the three races,
with 6 competing in all three races. The
TNSC medals went to: Louise Prest;
Emma Prest; Arana Benne Keeble; Amity
Marantelli; Jorja Cullen and Nicola

Next year we hope we can have more
children who achieve this, especially
some boys!!!

DISABLED WINTERSPORT AUSTRALIA
Loving Drovers Park
F
or the last weekend of winter it felt
very much spring-like on the 29th
and 30th of August - and we loved it.
DWA was soaking up the sun rays on the
weekend, with five skiers joining us on the
slopes. And all of our clients were returning
skiers, so they knew exactly how lucky they
were to experience such awesome weather.
Mansfield Autistic Statewide Services brought
up a group of four youngsters from Dookie to
Falls Creek, with a previous student of theirs,
Coen Lovell making the fifth. Last year the
four from Dookie had their first trip to the
snow and have been talking about it ever since,
and when they got on the bus I was assured
that they were all coming back next year.
It was an adventurous camp; the group almost
saw every run on the mountain. As there was a
lot of time spent on snow, we also made sure to
sample the produce to be enjoyed from most
of the local cafés. From Snownuts’ Doughnuts
to hot chocolates at Maggies, we were all very
satisfied by the end of the day.
Coen Lovell was back to tackle the terrain
park. Last time he came up it was early in
the season so the park wasn’t quite built.
This time he was very pleased to see the
Drovers Park in full swing. Riding over the
rainbow box and enjoying some air on the
line of jumps, Coen had a great time. It’s not
every day that your job allows you to spend
a morning riding a Falls Creek terrain park,
so naturally I had to tag along for some laps.
The crew from Dookie had a great time exploring the mountain. Guides Catherine Tinlin
and Sam Lee had their work cut out for them.
Charlee Larcombe and Emily Fowkes - their ski
buddies were always on the go. Two of the four,
Bella Loe and Ethan Smith were having their
first experience on the skis, after snowboarding
last year and deciding to switch. We think some
wise chap must have had a word to them!
Next weekend at Falls Creek we flood
the slopes with Sit-Skis. Royal Talbot
Rehabilitation Centre and DWA are bringing
a crew of seven with spinal cord injuries to
Falls Creek. The Talbot camps are always a
great weekend - there is something very special
about getting people back onto the snow after
a life-changing event such as a spinal cord
injury. As these are people that may have once
known the life of skiing and snowboarding as
an able bodied person, getting back on snow is
something many of them thought they would
never be able to do again. There is a great
deal of satisfaction that the guides feel when
volunteering for such important weekend for
a members. So look for the crew this weekend
and feel free to come and say hi. •

LOCAL HISTORY
A Man of the Mountains
I
think that credit for much of the
background work in the initial
development of Falls Creek should
be given to Martin Romuld for his early
encouragement and appreciation of the beauty
of the high country and of skiing!” Fred Vines,
member of Bogong Ski Club in the 1940’s.
Born near Trondheim, Norway in 1905
Romuld began skiing at an early age. By the
time he was six he was competing in various
ski events but it was in ski jumping that he
competed at the National level. Romuld
studied civil engineering in Trondheim but
with the Great Depression affecting Norway,
he decided to emigrate, arriving in Australia in
March 1928. While working in Melbourne in
1931 Martin returned to competitive skiing.
For the next few years he was to dominate both
State and National jump and langlauf events
while great rival, Tom Mitchell, consistently
beat him in the slalom. He was considered “one
of the best ski jumpers the country has ever seen
and one of the best all round skiers for his day.”
(Australian Ski Year Book 1988).
In 1934 the editor of Victorian Ski Year
Book wrote “We are fortunate, from
several aspects, in having Mr Martin
Romuld as a member. Firstly he brought
honour to the Club during the past season
by winning Australia’s most coveted ski
title: that of National Champion, a title
which he will be successful in retaining for
many seasons. We were further indebted
to him for his splendid work at Donna
Buang for the jumping course. Mr Romuld
was responsible for the plan and profile of
the new jumping hill, together with the
solution of its engineering problems.”
In June 1936 Martin joined the State
Electricity Commission (SEC) as resident
engineer based at a hydro-meteorological
station (built in 1933 and later known as
Wilkinson’s Hut) erected just downhill
from Wallace’s Hut. Martin’s off-sider,
Joe Holston lived nearby in another hut
which burned down in October 1940.
(AGL workers report finding the ruins of
a hut not far from the old SEC Hut after
the 2003 bush fires). However Martin
primarily skied alone, measuring flow rates
and recording snow depths.

Falls Creek & Mount Beauty THIS WEEK Winter 2015 Edition FOURTEEN
LOCAL HISTORY
“we decided to call in on our old friend,
Martin Romuld who is stationed at the SEC‘s
cottage. Martin is very fit, enjoys every bit of
life on the plains, and is very pleased with his
job. On the jump which he has already built
at the rear of his cottage he has covered 128
feet (39.014m). He has also a slalom course
set down the Middle Creek Valley.
During the afternoon he took us for a tour
along Rocky Valley, towards Mt McKay.
After running over it, Martin claims that
Mt McKay possesses the finest downhill
course he has ever seen in Australia, the
descent being 3,000 feet to the snowline.
This mountain also has ideal slalom courses,
in addition to possessing a natural jumping
hill. There are quite a number of adjacent
slopes suitable for racing. When one hears
an opinion such as that expressed by a skier
of the calibre of Martin, it is wondered why
our racing skiers claim that conditions on
the plains are too flat for racing.”
In the five years he was based at the
S.E.C cottage Martin was to have a great
influence on the aspiring skiers of the
day, who were no doubt impressed by his
“steady upright stance” and the fact he
skied “without any flamboyance or obvious
effort.” Julian Newton Brown pays further

testimony to his prowess.
“At one time Bill Kent Hughes (later Sir
Wilfred) was touring the High Plains
and met Martin at Wilkinson’s and asked
him how long it would take him to get to
Hotham and back. Martin said about six
hours. Bill considered that impossible and
bet him a dozen bottles of beer he couldn’t
do it in the time. Martin set off immediately
and returned with an item from Hotham as
proof in 5 hours 45 minutes.”
This unofficial record still stood in 1970.
(One can’t but wonder what time our current
ski champions would take for a Wallace’s Hut
- Hotham return - on classic waxing skis!)
In 1941 Martin joined the Royal Australian
Air Force and after the war skied mainly at
Mt Buller. He maintained his involvement
in competitive skiing as an official. It was
from participating in his first ski jump event
at Falls Creek in 1958 that Julian Newton
Brown became friends with Romuld.
The Falls Creek Museum has (in storage),
by courtesy of Newton Brown, the wooden
skis used by Romuld on his High Plains
rounds. A pair of his jumping boots are
also held by the museum.
In recognition of Martin Romuld’s
contribution to skiing on the high plains,
the new Prinoth slope Grooming machine
that now does such a great job on our cross
country trails has been named after him. •

three years, where Falls Creek and YMCA
Howman’s Gap invite our multicultural
group to participate in winter sports, to assist
with our English communication skills and
confidence in learning new skills that were
previously thought to be out of reach.
While it was the first time seeing snow for
some of us, others have loved the snow so
much due to this program that they have

since taken their families up for their own
winter adventures. This year, our group
were invited to Falls Creek for our first
ever snow tubing experience and downhill
skiing lessons and, although it was fair to
say we were extremely nervous, we had an
absolutely fantastic time! To be able to race
down the tube park at thrilling speeds,
survive the Falls Express chair lift for the
first time and overcome any doubts about
our abilities to ski was a real confidence
boost for our group.
We would like to say a big thankyou to
everyone who donated their time, services
and patience to make our day such a
success: Jo Prothero, Amy Hodge and
Chris Hocking at Falls Creek, Heath and
Jan at Falls Creek Coaches; along with the
generous Mount Beauty and Harrietville
locals who donated ski gloves and goggles.
Without your help, the day would not have
been possible. Thanks again! •

Rotary Ski Day
The proximity to the snow of the Rotary
Club of Mount Beauty means that we
should take advantage of it. The snow
that is. And so, on the second Tuesday of
each month, local Rotarians invite any
visiting Rotarians to join them for a ski
and lunch. That second Tuesday is the
one coming, Tuesday 8th.
The order of the day is to meet in Cloud
9 at 10am over a coffee and do some
introductions. It shouldn’t be too hard
to pick a bunch of grey headed retirees
(some maybe even in one piece - but can
they ski?).
Then it’s off to explore the mountain,
hopefully taking advantage of the local
knowledge as our team show the visitors
around. After a couple of hours cruising,
we all then head to the Falls Creek Hotel
where we will be booked in for a relaxing
lunch at 1pm - and a sample of some of
their fine wines. Those that want to ski
again may do so. Others may take in
Harvey Hour - and some may even have
to go back to work. Oh dear!
If you are a visiting Rotarian, you and
your family are sincerely invited to join
us for either or a slide and lunch, or just
lunch. PS: Rotary business is minimal on
this occasion. Further details from: Ken:

T
his property, Valley View 5 is a very
unique alpine penthouse. It is a
must to inspect as you are sure to be
impressed.
The property features three spacious bedrooms

Adding to this convenience appeal is the fact
that Wombat’s Ramble is right behind the
complex providing excellent ski in, ski out
access. Grab the skis or board in the morning,
hit Wombat’s Ramble down to the ticket box
and Falls Express, enjoy the day and come
home via Wombat’s when you are ready.
This penthouse apartment was built in
1997/1998 and has three bedrooms, two
