Pet Dental Health
Awareness Campaign
Program Guide
Welcome
2013 Pet Dental Health Awareness
(PDHA) campaign
How many smiles could you add to your patients’ lives? Before you
answer, we invite you to take a look at the new 2013 PDHA materials
designed to engage your team and your clients in the importance of
oral health for overall health in pets.
This year’s program is all about supporting your active recommendation
by giving you interesting, interactive — and even entertaining! — ways
to educate pet owners on the benefits of a healthy mouth for a healthy
body, plus making things fun with daily instant win and sweepstakes
prizes at PetDental.ca.
Without a specific dental recommendation from you as a veterinary
professional, pet owners may not understand how regular dental
checkups, daily brushing and the right nutrition equal a long, healthy life
for their pets. Remember that clients rely on your expert advice about
their pets’ dental care to strengthen the special relationships they
share together.
Thank you for your continued support and for joining us year-round in
adding more smiles to the lives of all your patients.
Go to PetDental.ca for downloadable clinic materials,
like pet dental charts and an exam room poster, to
support your active recommendation
Good oral health adds up
Emerging science suggests a strong link between good oral health, and heart and kidney health. Educating pet owners
about the effects of oral health on their pet’s overall health is the first step to long, healthy lives for your patients.
