The Family Workshop is a rich opportunity for parents, grandparents, step parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and
everything in between to come together and open their hearts,
minds, and lives to reinvent what it means to support the
well-being of one another and create “home.”
If you’re a graduate of Discovery & Breakthrough, and want to
share this work and have it become a family affair, this
training is for you and your kids ages 7 - 17!
regardless of age. Bridging the generation gap, adults and
kids will learn how to authentically communicate openly and
honestly, even when they disagree. Families will also explore
the underlying belief structures that may have become habits
that limit possibilities for support and forgiveness. Together,
you will invent new avenues of being, seeing, and connecting
with each other by:
l Exploring family “grungies” and payoffs
l Mastering distinctions such as Victim vs. Responsible
l Learning how to play “win-win” day to day
l Creating and living by a family contract
The Family Workshop is a FUN and LIVELY weekend to explore
how your family works and plays together, and how you can
expand and enrich your relationships for life. If you’re ready
to communicate more openly and honestly, and be more
spontaneous and supportive of one another, the Family
Workshop is a great place to begin! Anyone over 18 must
be a graduate of Teen Leadership or the adult trainings.
Beginning Friday night at 6:30 p.m., this 3-day experiential
weekend will offer families the opportunity to work
together to understand what it means to be responsible –
