Hockey team wins the Avon Tournament.
Tim Brediger is honored with runner up for Coach of
the Year contest – wins $2500 for the football program –
Sponsored by Liberty Ford and the Cleveland Browns
Congratulations to Hockey player Justin Malian for being
nominated as the JJHuddle’s Ohio Ice Hockey Athlete of
the Week . Sophomore forward Shane Malinak earned the
Morning Sports Journal Player of the Week award and
Freshman goaltender Ryan Godin won the same award
from the Chronicle Telegram.
Alumni Hockey Game update: The North Olmsted
Hockey Alumni Game in honor of Dick Jones was held on
December 29. The event was a great success and helped
raise money for the Eagle hockey team. Great job Coach
Murray, the Eagle High School hockey team, Bill Fischer,
Eric Wagner, and all involved in the event!

The eaglet of the week is senior Sarah Sabino. This is
Sarah’s 4th season as an Eaglet. Her perseverance for
perfection makes the rest of the team work harder. Her
infectious personality brings fun and life to both the team
and the dance floor. Congratulation Sarah!

NOHS hockey game at the Q vs. Westlake
On Friday, February 6, the Eagles will be taking on Westlake
at Quicken Loans Arena! This is a great opportunity to come

Spring Sports
Weight training for girls track will be Tuesdays and
Fridays after school until indoor track begins in
January. Must have an EMF form filled out to lift.
