Head of Web Development

YOUR CHALLENGE:
As the Head of Web Development at Runtastic you will be in charge of all the web development of our fitness
site Runtastic.com. By heading and leading a team of about 5 developers (FTE), your duties will encompass the
following:
§
Responsibility for the realization of all the product concepts
§
Lead technical architect of web frontend (Runtastic.com)
§
People management of the team members as well as resource planning and controlling
§
Project-related coordination and communication with all relevant departments
YOUR PROFILE:
§
Completed apprenticeship or university degree in (Business) Informatics, Software Engineering or similar
§
At least 3 years’ practice in web/frontend development with excellent skills in HTML, CSS and Javascript
§
First experience in leadership and people management (e.g. as team lead or project manager)
§
Fundamental know-how in the development of responsive/mobile web sites
§
Very good English skills (written and spoken); German is an advantage, but not a requirement
§
Ability to work under pressure and enthusiasm for finishing projects by delivering more than expected
§
Ready to be a strong part of the team and willing to work in or relocate to beautiful Linz (Austria)
