Tournament Format:
Championship format for all divisions (2024-2017). Pool play games will take place Saturday
and will decide the seedings/playoffs for Sunday. All teams will play a minimum of 4 games with
the majority playing 5 games.
1. All rules will be in accordance with NFHS and US Lacrosse standards

20 sec / 10 sec clearing rule for divisions 2023 and up – 20 seconds to clear the ball
from your defensive end. 10 seconds to get into the offensive box

1 Timeout per game; 1 minute duration; Game clock will stop
Clock is start/stop under 2 minutes if the score differential is three goals or less.
Referees will keep Game time. Penalty time will be kept in the box.

6. In the event of a tie, teams will play one continuous sudden victory overtime period. No
time-outs permitted in overtime. A one minute break will be given before overtime.
NO BRAVEHEARTS
7. There are no mandatory stick checks. However, the head coach may request a stick
check. If the stick is found to be legal, the challenging team will be charged a time out. If
no timeout remains, a delay of game technical foul will be assessed.
8. Decisions on the field are the final ruling. No disputes will be heard after the game.
9. Any coach or player ejected from a game will not be allowed to participate in the
following scheduled game for their team.
10. Teams that appear to be stalling will be warned to keep the ball in the box. All teams
with a lead must keep the ball in the box for the last two minutes of the game.
11. Fouling Out: Any player who accumulates 4 personal fouls or 5 minutes in personal foul
penalty time shall be disqualified from the game.
Playoff Seeding Playoffs will be seeded by win/loss record. In the event of a tie the following
will be used to determine seeding:
1. Head-to-Head
2. Goals Against
3. Goal Differential
4. Goals For
5. Coin Flip
Weather Policy:
Inclement weather is out of the control of the tournament directors, officials and site managers.
In the event of thunder and/or lightening, THREE (3) long horn blasts will signal players and
spectators to clear the fields. All games will be suspended for 30 min from the last occurrence.
Following ONE (1) long horn blast games will resume play. In the event of heavy rain, it is up to
the tournament directors, officials, and the site managers as to whether the conditions are
deemed safe to play on.

one team will play 4 due to odd number. Top 7 (4 from pool 13, 3 from pool
14) will advance to playoffs. Consolation games for remaining 4 teams.
2019: 11 teams. 1 pool of 6, 1 pool of 5. All teams will play 3 games Saturday,
one team will play 4 due to odd number. Top 7 (4 from pool 12, 3 from pool
11) will advance to playoffs. Consolation games for remaining 4 teams.
2020: 11 teams. 1 pool of 6, 1 pool of 5. Each team plays 3 Saturday, with one
team playing 4 due to odd number. Separate playoffs for each pool.
2021: 11 teams. 1 pool of 6, 1 pool of 5. Each team plays 3 Saturday, with one
team playing 4 due to odd number. Separate playoffs for each pool.
2022: 7 teams. 1 pool. All teams will play 3 games Saturday, one team will play
4 due to odd number. All teams make playoffs for Sunday, with top seed
getting a bye. All teams except one will get minimum 5 games.
2023: 10 teams. 1 pool of 4. 1 pool of 6. Each team plays 3 Saturday. Separate
playoffs for each pool.
2024: 7 teams. 1 pool. All teams will play 3 games Saturday, one team will play
