Under the support of IUSF, the Interfinish World Congress has got great success with the essential contributions of the related academic societies, institutes and associations among different countries. Following the previous success, the Interfinish 2016 will be held on September 20~22, 2016 in Beijing. For the first time, Interfinish comes to China, the largest market and one of the most vibrant research communities on surface finishing technology nowadays. The theme of the conference will be “Surface Science and Engineering for Industry in Future”. Surface Treatment Technologies Organic Coatings Electroless Plating EIectroplating Composites Plating Anodizing Christofer Leygraf obtained PhD in Solid State Physics at KTH. Together with co-workers he has built up a systematic theory on atmospheric corrosion which is probably the most common, costly and complex form of corrosion. The results were summarized in a Thermal Spray book entitled Atmospheric Corrosion (John Wiley & Sons, 2000), Conversion Coatings together with professor Tom Graedel from US. Hot-dipping Anti-rust Oil Vacuum and Plasma Technologies Professor Leygraf´s persistent scientific and teaching efforts in Corrosion Science over decades have resulted in several international CVD/PVD awards and distinctions including the 2013 European Corrosion Surface Cleaning and Preparation Medal, the 2009 U.R. Evans Award (UK), the 2007 Willis Rodney Photoetching Whitney Award (NACE, USA) and the 2003 Herbert Uhlig Award Powder Engineering (Electrochemical Society, USA). The Welcome Banquet (Sep. 20th) and Farewell Banquet (Sep. 21th) are free for participants who have already paid the registration fee. But you should tick each options when you register if you are willing to participate in. 3. Industrial tour in the third afternoon is free. For joining it, you should also tick the option when you register. 4. Mid-conference tours (ladies’ program) & post-conference field trips are priced individually and should be paid in addition. 5. The registration fee could be paid online or on-site. Bank charges (3.5%) are the responsibility of the payee and should be paid at source in addition to the registration fees.
