What is it?
In the past the hydroglyceric Propolis extraction created serious limitations in the content and in the
abundance of polyphenols of the final extract, limiting intensely its activity.
Nowadays thanks to B Natural M.E.D. ® technology we are able to obtain an high concentrated extract
of integral purified polyphenols from Propolis called GREIT®, which guarantee a higher activity and an
appreciated taste also for children.
Production process
Indications
M.E.D.® Dynamic Multi Extraction
(Patent- MI2014A001434) allows to:
• Purify the polyphenols present into Propolis:
free from beeswaxes and inert resins.
• Allow to merge integral purified polyphenols
from propolis M.E.D. ® with glycerol.
• Obtain the first propolis’ hydroglyceric
extract standardized.
• Produce extracts that contain always the PAH
limits established by law for finished product
(Reg. EU 1933/2015).
For all liquid forms (drops, spray, syrups). It is
recommended also for children. In cosmetic
area, it can be used as an ingredient for creams
and ointments.

Characterization
The different steps of the extractive and
cleaning process are analytically controlled
to guarantee the integral extraction of active
principles. For this reason, the analytical
method in HPLC-ESI-MS has been optimized
and validated.
Standardization
GREIT® M.E.D.® Propolis extracts are
standardized in total polyphenols, in which
six of them (Apigenin, Chrysin, Galangin,
Pinocembrin, Pinobanskin, Quercetin)
represent more than 25% with HPLC-ESI-MS
titration. For each batch we guarantee the
same quality and quantity of polyphenols.
Scientific studies
In- vitro studies of purified polyphenols
from Propolis M.E.D.® extract have proven
antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity.
