MEET OUR INTERNS!
Hey guys! I’m Winston Lee and I am an intern for the J.S.
Wufei Family this semester for TASA! So, a little bit about
myself: I was born and raised in Southern California. I love
watching movies, and I ♥ LOVE ♥ coffee. As a family intern, I help the family heads (shout out to James and
Shaw!) plan weekly adventures to get together and have
a TASA fambam. A typical planning sesh includes me getting boba and drinking it. We also have got plenty of
events planned for the rest of this semester, so come on
out and join J.S. Wufei as we show Berkeley what our TASA
family love is all about! Speaking of which...go on a double date with TASA’s J.S. Wufei and TaiPlay families this
Saturday night as TASA takes on downtown Berkeley with
dinner and a movie! I hope to see you all there!
Hi everyone! My name is Roselynn Chang, and I
am a treasurer intern at TASA! I love being involved in many organizations on campus. I am
currently a social committee member for Phi
Beta Lambda, a business organization because I
am a Pre-Haas major. I am also a senate intern
for the ASUC, so I spend most of my times at
meetings planning for the 2015 New Students
Service Day Program. Finally, I am a member of
Circle K, a community service organization because I like to volunteer during the weekends
when I am free! With not a lot of spare time, I try
to spend every minute I am free working out at
the gym, eating at new restaurants, or exploring
San Francisco with my friends. UC Berkeley is a
great environment that allows me to explore all
the open opportunities! Coming from New Jersey, I find it astounding how different the east
and west coast are from each other. However,
at the same time, I am thankful to live the best of
both worlds.

A Journey Towards…
台美 PRIDE!
Coming to Cal as a freshman
from the Philippines, I have never
felt more out of place. I was in an
entirely new environment different from what I was accustomed
to and away from family who
were half way around the world. I
was definitely shocked by the
difference in culture and felt extremely lost and alone. It was
only after attending TASA events
and meeting people there did I
find a place where I felt as if I
belonged. It was like a home
away from home! I wanted to be
a part of the TASA cabinet because I wanted to contribute
what I have to help others feel at
home at Cal as TASA has made
me feel. I hope that I would be
able to make a change, even a
little one, and give back to others
as they have given to me.
At TASA I have not only found
friends, but family. And that is just
what makes me love Cal so much
more!
Welcome to Second Gen, where all your TASA
dreams come true (wut). I was told to talk about
my experiences with TASA so here I am writing
this...thing. A little bit about myself first, I am the
queen of wonderland... or not. I am just the humble External Vice President of TASA for this semester (thus your evil overlord). I was born in Taiwan,
grew up in Dubai, and now here I am residing on
my throne on top of the TASA hill. And now I shall
recount to you my journey to the top of this hill as
per request.
TASA has given me a passage to
release my inner weirdness and not
be judged for it! I feel comfortable
in my own skin and am extremely
proud of where my origins lie. At
TASA, we may all have different
backgrounds or be from different
places, but our love for where we
are from is unchanged. TASA has
helped me feel even more proud
than I already am of my country,
TAIWAN! Looking forward to meeting all of you!
Once upon a time, there was a young freshman,
who was the most awkward girl in the whole entire universe. Potatoes. One day, she went to
TASA's first gen after the recommendation of her
Taiwanese DeCal instructor, and watched a very
interesting skit. Carrots. After joining the thirdsweetest family ever, she finds herself as an intern
a semester later (for the second-best family yay
F4!). And then tl;dr, after various adventures she
finds herself as EVP of one of the most interesting
clubs she has joined in college. Onions. Really,
TASA is great. Trust me. Meat. So I'm very bad at
cheesy stories. So throw all my random words
together and you get ingredients for curry.

2nd gen was planned by our awesome interns.
Interns work at companies for the experience.
Experience is what helps you level up.
Up is a Disney movie about balloons.
Balloons are used to scare little children.
Children, don’t watch Up without supervision.
Supervision is Superman's secret power.
Power is the time derivative of work.
Work hard for that hard earned cash.
Cash money hundred dollar bills.
Bill is a president of 'MURICA.
America's space program is NASA.
NASA rhymes with TASA.
Join TASA.
