This is a legal agreement between you, the end user, and Gaumard® scientific company, inc. (“Gaumard”). This software is protected by copyright
laws and remains the sole property of Gaumard. By installing the OMNI™ (the “software”) media, you agree to be bound by the terms of this
agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this agreement, promptly return the uninstalled media and accompanying items to Gaumard at the
address indicated below.
1. Grant of License: Gaumard hereby grants to you (an individual or institution) the right to install and activate the software on one computer for
use with one interactive patient simulator system. You may not network this software, or allow multiple users unless you purchased a multi-user
workstation license. Sharing this software with other individuals or allowing other individuals to view the contents of this software is in violation of
this license.
2. Copyright: The software is owned by Gaumard and protected by United States copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you
must treat this software like any other copyrighted material. You may not make this software or copies thereof available in any manner or form or
use, copy or transfer the software, in whole or in part, except as provided herein.
3. Other Restrictions: You may not rent or lease this software to any other party. You may not alter, merge, modify, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile
or disassemble the software, or disclose the contents of this software to any other party.
4. Electronic Transmission of Software: If you received the software by electronic transmission or by internet delivery, by installation of the software,
you acknowledge that you have read and understand this license agreement and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
5. Term of Agreement: The term of this agreement and the license granted to you pursuant hereto shall commence upon installation of this software.
This agreement and the license granted herein may otherwise be terminated by Gaumard in the event that you are in breach of any provision of this
agreement. In the event of termination, you agree to immediately return this software, accompanying items, and any copies thereof to Gaumard.
6. Limited Warranty:
(A) The cd-rom media (the “media”) which contains this software is warranted, for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase, to be free from
defects in material and workmanship. Electronic transmission is warranted to be free from defects at the moment of transmission. Your sole and
exclusive remedy, and Gaumard’s sole liability, is to replace the defective media or to repeat the electronic transmission provided that you notify
Gaumard in writing of such defect or defective transmission and return the defective media, if any, during the 30-day warranty period.
(B) Except and to the extent expressly provided in paragraph (a), the software and accompanying written materials are provided on an “as is” basis,
without any warranties of any kind, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. No oral
or written information or advice given by Gaumard, its dealers, distributors, agents or employees shall create a warranty or in any way increase the
scope of this warranty, and you may not rely on any such information or advice. Gaumard does not warrant, guarantee, or make any representations
regarding the use or the results of use, of the software or written materials in terms of correctness, accuracy, reliability, currentness, or otherwise, and
the entire risk as to the results and performance of the software is assumed by you. If the software or written materials are defective, you and not
Gaumard or its dealers, distributors, agents, or employees, assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing, repair or correction other than expressly
described above.
(C) Neither Gaumard nor anyone else who has been involved in the creation, production or delivery of this product shall be liable for any direct,
indirect, consequential or incidental damages (including damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information,
and the like) arising out of the use or inability to use such product or related to this agreement even if Gaumard has been advised of the possibility
of such damages. Gaumard shall not be liable to you for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages or lost profits arising out of or
related to this agreement or your use of the software and/or the related documentation, even if Gaumard has been advised of the possibility of such
damages. In no event shall Gaumard’s liability here under, if any, exceed the purchase price paid by you for the software.
All rights not expressly granted in this license agreement are reserved by Gaumard.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By installing the software, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the foregoing and that you agree to be bound by its terms and
conditions. You also agree that this agreement is the complete and exclusive statement of agreement between the parties and supersedes all

1. Care and Conditions
1.1 Overall Warnings
Remember that damage caused by misuse is not covered by your warranty. It is critical to understand and comply with the
following guidelines:
General
•
During simulations with a wired connection do not disconnect the communication cable from the OMNI® 2 or the simulator
to avoid communication and power interruption
•
Replacement parts are available from Gaumard Scientific or your Distributor
Storage
•
Store OMNI® 2 and your simulator in a cool, dry place
•
Extended storage above 85 degrees Fahrenheit (29 Celsius) will cause the simulator to soften and slowly warp
•
It is acceptable to operate OMNI® 2 and your simulator at an ambient temperature of 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 Celsius)
Cleaning
•
Clean OMNI® 2 with a dry cloth
•
Do not expose OMNI® 2 to water or excessive dust
•
Refer to the Simulator User Guide for Care and Conditions of the simulator
This simulator contains Transmitter Module FCC ID: T9J-RN42. Such module has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy,
and if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
•
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
•
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
•
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
•

Terminology
1.
Facilitator: the person conducting the simulation; an instructor or lab staff member
2. Provider: a person participating in the simulation as a healthcare
provider
3. OMNI® 2 Setup
3.1 Initializing OMNI® 2
OMNI® 2 comes paired with the simulator and therefore will automatically
establish a connection.
1.
Connect the simulator power supply to the wall outlet
2. Connect the power supply to the
power input of the simulator
3. Turn on the OMNI® 2 by pressing and holding the power button on the
tablet for 10 seconds.
4. Select “Allow” to turn on Bluetooth for the tablet
3.2 Wired Connection
OMNI® 2 also has the ability to accomidate a wired connection to the
simulator.
The simulator can be operated up to 10 ft. with the provided USB
communication cable.
1.
Connect the simulator power
supply to the wall outlet. Then,
connect the power supply to
the manikin.

4. Labor (Noelle Only)
The Labor Page is used to carry out and monitor a delivery. The Labor
page also allows you to enable or disable shoulder dystocia and turtle
signs during delivery. This page is only shown on the OMNI® 2 when
paired with a NOELLE simulator.
To access the Labor page, tap on the icon on the top of the screen.

The diagram below is a representation of the descent of the fetus through
the birth canal

The -5 at the top gives feedback on the Delivery Descent Station
•
The percentage is a representation of how far the fetus is in the
delivery cycle
•
Both numbers will increase as the fetus is pushed further into the
birth canal
Labor Speed
The labor speed is adjusted in units of cm/min. The fastest is 20 cm/min.
The labor speed can be changed before a labor and during a labor.
Shoulder Dystocia
Check the Shoulder Dystocia option to activate the condition.
When shoulder dystocia is checked marked labor submenus will appear.
The Options that appear provide a way to specify when shoulder dystocia
is applied and to generate turtle signs.
The percentage specifies when the shoulder dystocia will be applied. For
example, when the percentage is set to 50%, the fetus will display
shoulder dystocia when it is about 50% through the labor cycle.
The timer to the right specifies how often the Turtle Sign will appear. The
slider dot can be moved from 30 seconds to 120 seconds
4.2 Fetal Monitor (Optional)
Select the “Contraction Descent” to link the descent of the fetus to the
contraction. Once selected, the fetus will descend with each simulated
contraction.
The contraction descent option is only activated when connected to
the optional virtual monitor. Please refer to the Virtual Monitor section
for more information.
The optional vital signs monitor displays the fetal heart rate of the fetus,
and the contractions of the mother.
Increase the paper speed of the fetal monitor in the Labor page.
Quickly turn on/off the sensors and adjust what is shown on the monitor
by unchecking either UA or FHR.
5. CPR
5.1 CPR Features
OMNI® 2 features a CPR performance evaluator and trainer. OMNI® 2 will
recognize which simulator it is connected to and load the appropriate
interface.
Tap on the icon in the upper-right of the screen to access the CPR page.

Calibration
Before running a CPR scenario, please make sure to calibrate the compressions.
Perform the following to calibrate the compressions:
1.
Tap the Gear on the upper-right of the screen
2. Select “Calibration”
3. Select “Compression” once the Calibration window appears
4. Adjust the Target compression depth and tap “START”
5. After completing 5 compressions click “CANCEL”, “SAVE”, or
“START”
6. Tap “Save” if you are satisfied with the calibration and ready to do
CPR.
CPR Ratio and Session Time
The CPR ratio shows the compression:ventilation ratio that is being
performed during the session.
The Session Time keeps track of how long the session has been running.
The number of cycles performed during the session are also tracked here.
Feedback Graphics
Monitor and evaluate the quality of chest compressions and ventilations
in real time.
The color indicators provide feedback on the performance of the provider
during the session. OMNI® 2 will calculate and track the rate, depth,
duration, and PIP of each compression and ventilation.
Virtual Defibrillator
OMNI® 2 has the ability to apply electrical activity to the patient virtually.
1.
Put the simulator in a shockable rhythm
2. Click the green heart on the lower-left of the screen
3. Make adjustments to the value in the Defibrillator window
4. Pressing the “Convert to sinus rhythm” box will put the simulator in
sinus rhythm after shocking.
5. Select “Shock” and the Shock Notification will appear on the bottom
of the screen
CPR Settings
The CPR settings are AHA compliant by default; however, the settings can be
adjusted. To adjust the settings, follow the steps below:
1.
Tap the Gear on the upper-right
2. Select “Settings”
3. Tap on a parameter to change
4. Move the sliders
5. Select “DONE” to apply the changes
The settings will update the changes to the feedback graphics
The default settings can be changed from Adult to Pediatric, or to Infant
by tapping the “CPR Default Settings”
Select Adult, Pediatric, or Infant parameters and tap “DONE”
CPR Report
CPR reports are generated after every session.
1.
Press “START” to begin a CPR session
2. Perform CPR on the patient
3. Press the stop button
4. The CPR Results document will automatically populate the page
5. Type in the information requested
6. Tap “SAVE REPORT”
7. Access the saved reports by tapping the Gear on the top right and
selecting “Reports”
8. Locate the saved PDF report
6. Hypoxia
6.1 Hypoxia Features
The Hypoxia model allows users to treat a hypoxia emergency with
appropriate airway and ventilation exercises.
This page will load with the baby simulators only.

Options
In a hypoxia scenario, OMNI® 2 will automatically detect the ventilations
and whether they meet or exceed the CPR standards.
The simulator’s skin will return to normal with correct intervention, or turn
more cyanotic with ineffective ventilations.
The Cyanosis Bar tracks the cyanosis level of the manikin in real time.
Feedback Graphics
Monitor and evaluate the ventilations in real time.
The color indicators provide feedback on the performance of the provider
during the session, where green is appropriate ventilation and red is
innappropriate ventilations. OMNI® 2 will calculate and track the rate and
PIP of each ventilation.
Hypoxia Settings
The Ventilation rate and PIP settings are AHA compliant by default.
However, the settings can be adjusted. To adjust the settings, follow the
steps below:
1.
Tap the Gear on the upper-right
2. Select “Settings”
The “Settings” window will populate the screen
3. Tap on either Venitaltion Rate or Ventilation PIP
4. Move the sliders
5. Select “DONE” to apply the changes
The settings will update the changes to the feedback graphics
Hypoxia Options
These options below control the inital state of the simulator. Select one of
the three states depending on the level of hypoxia.
The initial state can be healthy, partially hypoxic, or fully hypoxic.
Move the slider to increase or decrease the “Deteriorate” and “Improve”
options. These options will control the overall state of the patient if no
interventions are performed.
Turning up the Deteriorate option will cause the patient to become more
hypoxic if no ventilations are performed.
Press play to run a hypoxia scenario. Once appropriate ventilations and
care is provided to the patient, the neonate will improve its condition. Tap
the pause button when the simulation is over.
7. Blood Pressure Arm
The OMNI® 2 main screen for the blood pressure arm consists of three
pages: Favorites, Vitals, and Blood Pressure.
In the Favorites and Vitals page, adjust the systolic or diastolic values,
heart rate, and enable the auscultatory gap. These vital signs will transfer
to the arm where pulses are palpable. While taking the blood pressure,
korotkoff sounds are audible.
7.1 Blood Pressure
Access the blood pressure page to receive real time feedback of a blood
pressure measurement.
Recieve a real time numerical value of the cuff pressure in this page
The blood pressure interval changes according to the current blood
pressure.
The current blood pressure is shown in green.
If an auscultatory gap is applied, it will show in grey and the korotkoff
sounds will be disabled in the simulator.
Enable the auscultatory gap by:
1.
Tapping the vital sign in either Favorites or Vitals Page.
2. Slide the Auscultatory Gap ON
3. Adjust the gap values
The gap can be vizualized in the Blood Pressure Page. The area will be
greyed out.

9. Working with OMNI® 2
9.1 OMNI® 2 Tutorial
Upon first use of OMNI® 2, it will be required that you run through the onscreen tutorial for a brief overview of OMNI® 2’s features
•
Move onto the next steps in the Tutorial by selecting “GOT IT”
•
Exit the Tutorial at any time by selecting “HOME”
Please note that you have to go through the tutorial once or it will
continue to appear at start-up.
•
Access the Tutorial at any time by tapping the Gear on the
upper-right of the screen
•
Then, select “Show Tutorial”
9.2 OMNI® 2 Favorites
OMNI® 2 opens at the Favorites Page upon start up. There are several
pages which will open functions of the simulator. The pages available to
select depend on the simulator detected.
For example:
NOELLE
BP ARM
The Noelle Favorites page, by default, starts with six vital signs that can
be edited and changed.
In order to change the vital sign, please do the following:
1.
Tap a vital sign to make changes
2. Make adjustments to the value by utilizing the slider or the +/- buttons
3. Tap “APPLY NOW” to apply changes instantaneously and the window
will close
The changes will also be applied on the optional vital signs monitor
A notification will appear on the upper-left indicating that there was a
change in vitals
The new value will appear in the vital sign box
The Queue
The Queue allows you to apply multiple vital signs all at once over time or
instantly.
To add a vital sign to The Queue:
1.
Tap a vital sign in the Favorites Page or in the Vitals Page
2. Change the value
3. Tap “Add to Queue”
4. The words “Trend to” will appear below the vital sign when it has
been added to the Queue
5. Multiple vital signs may be added to the Queue
6. Adjust the time to apply the vital sign with the slider
7. Tap “sec” to interchange between the time from seconds and minutes
8. Select “Apply Now” to start the gradual trend of the values in the
Queue for the specified time
9. A timer will count down during the trend until the final vital sign value
is applied
Changes to the Favorites Page layout are saved and available in the
next sessions.

Trending over a period of 20 seconds

Customizing the Favorites Page
Vital signs can be added and removed from the Favorites page for quick
application.
Add a vital sign to the Favorites page by:
1.
Navigate to the Vitals Page by tapping the icon next to the Favorites
Page icon
2. Tap the plus icon on the vital sign to add it to Favorites Page
3. Remove a vital sign from the Favorites page by touching the minus
icon on the left
The Favorites page will update automatically
9.3 OMNI® 2 Vitals
Vitals Page lists the physiological changes that are used to monitor and
control the simulator’s vital signs. All vitals are grouped by region.
The vital signs can be changed from this page by simply tapping on the
vital sign.
The vital signs could be applied now or added to a queue.
For more information on the Queue, please refer to section 9.2
Palettes
OMNI® 2 now gives you the ability to create, save, and load a palette from
the vitals page. A palette item stores one or more vital signs into a single
loadable object.
Quickly return to the default healthy vital signs by tapping the “Healthy
Palette” button
Load a palette item to update a set of vital signs quickly.
The OMNI® 2 comes with pre-programmed palettes
Organize the palettes either alphabetically or by condition.
Create a Palette
To create a palette, please follow these steps:
1.
Set a value for the desired vital sign parameter in the Vital signs page
2. Add all desired values to Queue
3. Tap the save palette icon
4. Enter a name for the palette, a description, and choose a condition
5. Tap “SAVE”
The palette window will disappear and the values will still be saved to the
Queue for instant application
Access and Load the Palettes
1.
To access all saved palette items, select the palette icon on the top
right of the screen
2. Locate the saved palette in the new window
3. Select the palette item. The name will be highlighted
4. Specify the time that the palette will be loaded by clicking the timer
5. Select a time (minutes : seconds) and click “OK” and “LOAD”
Window will close and palette will be applied in the specified time as seen
in the “Trending Palette” timer
Deleting a Palette
1.
Access the Palettes by tapping the Palette icon
2. A palette can be deleted by tapping the red “X” on the right
3. Select “OK” to delete the palette
4. Tap “CANCEL” to exit the Palette window and return to the Vitals
Page
Pre-programmed palettes cannot be deleted.
10. Provider Actions
OMNI® 2 gives the user the ability to add, record, and evaluate provider
actions during a session.
10.1 Add a Provider
Add a group of providers to track actions of an individual. This feature
records the name of the provider with the action as an event entry in the
log.
To add a provider to a group, follow the steps:
1.
Tap the Provider Action icon on the upper-right of the screen
2. In the Provider Action window, select “Manage Providers”
3. In the Manage Providers Page, type in the name of the new provider
group
4. Tap create. The name of the new group will appear in the “Selected
Group”
If adding multiple groups, open the drop-down menu to view all the
groups.
6. Enter the name of a New Provider into the space provded
7. Tap “Add”. The Group and the provider will auto populate in the
“Providers Groups”
8. To delete the group, select the trashcan on the right of the group or
provider
9. To hide the group from the list, but not delete it, slide the dot to the
left. The group will change to unavailable
10. Tap “DONE” to exit and apply the changes
The available groups and new groups are now an option in the Provider
Actions window
10.2 Add an Action
Provider actions are tracked individually. The pre-programmed actions
are separated into sections for easy access and application.
Tap a provider to highlight the name and then select an action. The action
will appear in the log.
For more information on the Log and how to use it, refer to section 11.
OMNI® 2 Event Log.
OMNI® 2 provides the ability to add and delete customized actions as
needed.
Follow the steps below to add an action:
1.
Tap “Manage Actions” in the Provider actions window
2. Type in the name of a New Action Category and select “Create”. If
action is part of the preprogrammed categories, skip this step.
3. Select a category from the drop-down menu
4. Type in a New Action for the selected category and select “Add”
5. The new action will auto populate in the “Action in category”
6. To delete the group, select the trashcan on the right of the action and
category
Please note that the preprogrammed actions cannot be deleted.
7. To hide the action from the list, but not delete it, slide the dot to the
left. The action will change to unavailable
8. Tap “Close” to exit and apply the changes
The available categories and actions will appear
10.3 Evaluating a Provider Actions
Assess the actions performed and log the evaluation in the provider actions.
In order to evaluate, follow the instructions below:
1.
Select a Provider
2. Type an action in the space provided
3. Tap the green checkmark for “Satisfactory” or the red flag for “Unsatisfactory” or the + button to add the note without an evaluation
4. Select “DONE” when simulation is over
5. Tap the Log Icon on the upper-right of the screen to review the
actions of each provider in the log.

section 11. OMNI® 2 Event Log.
11. OMNI® 2 Event Log
The event log keeps a record of events that occur during a simulation.
Every entry is time stamped and contains details of the vital signs that
were present at the time that they occured . This is useful during debreifing sessions.
Tap the Log icon on the upper-right of the screen to access the Log
Logs may be filtered based on the event. Checking the filter will hide all
the events that are not related to the checked filter.
11.1 Add a Note
The log can be customized. Type and add in notes of events that will be
reviewed for the debreifing.

Tap the Log icon on the upper-right of the screen to access the Log
2. Type a note in the field
3. Tap the Add Note to Log button
3. The note will be added to the log with a time stamp
11.2 Save the Event Log
1.
Tap the save button in the log on the bottom of the screen
2. Type in the Instructor and Provider information
3. Select “SAVE”
11.3 Clear the Log
Erase the events in the log by:
1.
Tap the trash can
2. Select “OK” to accept
3. Tap “Done” to close the Event Log window
12. Virtual Monitor (Optional)
The virtual monitor is controlled via the wireless touchscreen OMNI® 2
tablet
OMNI® 2 provides the ability to use selected configuration or create your
own configuration to mimic the monitors used in your facility. The parameters controlled in the OMNI® 2 appear on the virtual monitor.
12.1 Virtual Monitor Setup (Optional)
The virtual monitor is controlled via the wireless touchscreen OMNI® 2
tablet
Follow the steps below in order to activate this feature:
1.
Connect the router to the wall
2. Tap the gear on the upper-right of the screen.
3. Select “WIFI Connection Setup”.
4. Connect to a wireless network.
The network name will be Gaumard_SimulatorSerialNumber
6. Exit the page by tapping the back button.
7. Ensure that the monitor is connected to the same network as OMNI®
2.
8. Once WIFI connectivity is confirmed, open the Gaumard Monitors
software.
Follow steps 9-10 if the activation code input was not performed correctly.
1. Tap the gear
on the upper-right
2. Select “Virtual Monitor”
3. Verify that the serial number corresponds to the manikin
4. The “Virtual Monitor WI-FI Setup” window will prompt you to input a
valid activation code
5. Type in a valid activation code
Note that the activation code above is just an example. It is not a valid
code. The activation code is case-sensitive.
6. Take note of the OMNI® IP and OMNI® Port
7. Select connect
8. In the Gaumard Monitors software, tap the V on the upper-left and
then select “Comm setup...”
Verify that the IP address and port number in the “Wireless Communication Setup” matches the OMNI® IP and port number noted before
9. Select “Connect”
The Vital Signs Monitor icon will appear on the top right when it is
connected
12.2 Using Virtual Monitor
When the Virtual Monitor is connected, the Monitor Icon will appear on
the upper-right of the screen. If the icon does not appear, please refer to
section 12.1 Virtual Monitor setup
The virtual monitor option has the ability to enable or disable any waveforms or values.
To enable or disable the sensors, do the following:
1.
Tap the virtual monitor icon on the right
2. The Virtual Monitor Sensors window provides easy access to all of the
available sensors
3. Enable or disable the sensors by moving the slider dot to the right or
left
4. The virtual monitor will reflect what is on OMNI® 2
12.3 Virtual Shock
The OMNI® 2 virtual monitor provides a quick access to the Virtual Shock
icon.
Select the Virtual Shock icon to open the options.
Adjust the Joules in the virtual shock options and sync or shock the patient

13.1 Print a Saved Report
1.
Access the Saved Report by tapping the gear on the upper-right
2. Select “Reports”
3. The report is saved under “CPR REPORTS” with the date and time
4. Select the Report
5. The report will be converted to PDF
6. Tap the three dots on the upper-right to open the menu options
7. Send the PDF via email or print
To print:
8. Select “PRINT”
9. Print the report from a computer or directly from the tablet.
Use printers compatible with the tablet. Wired printers are not
compatible.
13.2 Updating
In order to update the application to the latest version, follow the steps
below:
1.
Tap the Gear on to upper-right of the screen
2. Select the “WIFI Connection Setup”
3. Connect to a network
4. Tap the Gear again
5. Locate the “Update Application” option
6. OMNI® 2 will begin the download
7. Select “Install”
8. OMNI® 2 will install
9. Once it is done, select “OPEN” and OMNI® 2 will restart
The notification below will appear if the OMNI® 2 is already up to date
13.3 Turning off OMNI® 2
When finished with a simulation, follow these steps to power off OMNI® 2.
1.
Disconnect the simulator from the power supply
2. Hold the power button of the tablet
3. Select “Power Off” and then “OK”
4. The tablet will shut down

15. Warranty
15.1 Exclusive One-Year Limited Warranty
Gaumard warrants that if the accompanying Gaumard product proves to be defective in material
or workmanship within one year from the date on which the product is shipped from Gaumard
to the customer, Gaumard will, at Gaumard’s option, repair or replace the Gaumard product.
·· This limited warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship in the Gaumard product, except:
›› Damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, or unintended use of the
Gaumard product;
›› Damage resulting from failure to properly maintain the Gaumard product in accordance with Gaumard product instructions, including failure to property clean the
Gaumard product; and
›› Damage resulting from a repair or attempted repair of the Gaumard product by anyone other than Gaumard or a Gaumard representative.
This one-year limited warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Gaumard for
the accompanying Gaumard product, and Gaumard hereby explicitly disclaims the implied
warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, and fitness for a particular purpose. Except
for the limited obligations specifically set forth in this one-year limited warranty, Gaumard will not
be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, whether based on
contract, tort, or any other legal theory regardless of whether Gaumard has been advised of the
possibilities of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow disclaimers of implied warranties
or the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages, so the above disclaimers and exclusions
may not apply and the first purchaser may have other legal rights.
This limited warranty applies only to the first purchaser of the product and is not transferable.
Any subsequent purchasers or users of the product acquire the product “as is” and this limited
warranty does not apply.
This limited warranty applies only to the products manufactured and produced by Gaumard.
This limited warranty does not apply to any products provided along with the Gaumard product
that are manufactured by third parties. For example, third-party products such as computers
(desktop, laptop, tablet, or handheld) and monitors (standard or touch-screen) are not covered
by this limited warranty. Gaumard does not provide any warranty, express or implied, with
respect to any third-party products. Defects in third-party products are covered exclusively by
the warranty, if any, provided by the third-party.
·· Any waiver or amendment of this warranty must be in writing and signed by an officer of
Gaumard.
›› In the event of a perceived defect in material or workmanship of the Gaumard product, the first purchaser must:
›› Contact Gaumard and request authorization to return the Gaumard product.
Do NOT
return the Gaumard product to Gaumard without prior authorization.
›› Upon receiving authorization from Gaumard, send the Gaumard product along with
copies of (1) the original bill of sale or receipt and (2) this limited warranty document
to Gaumard at 14700 SW 136 Street, Miami, FL, 33196-5691 USA.
If the necessary repairs to the Gaumard product are covered by this limited warranty, then the
first purchaser will pay only the incidental expenses associated with the repair, including any
shipping, handling, and related costs for sending the product to Gaumard and for sending the product back to the first purchaser. However, if the
repairs are not covered by this limited warranty, then the first purchaser will be liable for all repair costs in addition to costs of shipping and handling.
