CG-100 SD Character Generator
CG-300/350 HD Character Generator
The CG-100 is a PC-based character generator
that uses the DeckLink SDI™ or DeckLink
Studio™ video cards to produce lower thirds,
text rolls, text crawls, and more. It can import
.TGA animations, text files, still images, and
even display the PC’s time. Any font in any
language installed on the system can be used.
It also supports languages that have text that
scrolls right-to-left. You can create and save as
much text as your hard drive allows, and they
can be recalled in sequence. Using the Live
Operation Mode, the CG-100 can also be used
as a live on-screen typewriter.
The CG-350 is a Windows-based character generator designed
for live and post production. Different functions are assigned to
different sub-programs. It will work with a Blackmagic Design
Decklink HD Extreme 3D or AJA Kona card, as a downstream
keyer or as key and fill inputs (depending on the card). Please
note: Key and fill is only available via SDI or HD-SDI.
The CG-300 is a smaller version of the CG-350, without the
Banner Crawl (continuously scrolling text) and Snyper (corner
graphics, station IDs, “coming up next” animations, etc.)
functions, which run independently from the character generator
software. Please note: The CG-300 is available for sale in the
U.S. only.
PCR-100 SD Workstation

The PCR-100 is an all-inclusive system that
comes bundled with the CG-100 software and
necessary Decklink hardware. The system’s
software is already installed, and there is
no additional setup needed. This is the best
solution for users who need a character
generating solution that is prepared and readyto-go. These computers are made specifically
to handle CG in a production environment and
are guaranteed to have you up and running in
no time.
The PCR-300 and PCR-350 are complete PC systems that
include either our CG-300 or CG-350 software, along with
the necessary supporting Decklink hardware. Like the PCR100 Workstation, the PCR-300/350 systems are simple turnkey solutions for character generation. The hardware, system
software, and CG software are already-prepared, and ready to
be used with no additional setup needed.
PCRM-300/350 HD 1RU Rack-Mounted
Workstation
For a rack-mounted solution, look no further than the PCRM350. Bundled with the CG-350 software, this system is ready
to be inserted into a 1RU space for a tidy rack setup. As in
all Datavideo workstations, the PCRM-350 is assembled,
configured, and ready for use at the push of a button.
