Ongoing Support for
Extraordinary Students
“Behind every standard, uniform and abstract [idea of a]
student, there is a ... real-life student that cannot be ignored,
especially if you want to help him or her to not stay where he
is, to come out of his shell and to open up to others.”
(Zakhartchouk, 2001, p. 23)
Along with following a student’s individual education plan,
finding out a student’s learning style is one of the first
steps accomplished to meet the needs of each student.
There are many different websites that can help with this:
• Boffin Squad http://www.boffinsquad.co.uk/ is an online
test that scores results.
• Secondary Students could try this one. http://

ict/multiple_int/questions/choose_lang.cfm
• Here’s another one from Edutopia http://

A guide to many of the great digital
resources that can be used daily by all
students.
“Necessary for one, good for all”
“In a diverse classroom, no single method can reach all learners.
Multiple pathways to achieving goals are needed.”
(Hitchcock et al., 2002, p. 18)
