The professional development procedures include the use of the End of Session Evaluation and the End of Course Evaluation Surveys. For a full description of these professional development evaluation procedures, please visit the PD Evaluation Tools, Materials and Procedures link on our staff website. Go to - AEA Home Page Click on - Staff Website (top right-hand corner) Scroll down to - Professional Development (left-hand column) Click on - PD Evaluation Tools, Materials and Procedures (bottom left-hand col umn) Note: AEA staff will receive a reminder from Professional Development to set up their Key Survey on the start date of the class and, when appropriate, a second reminder 2 weeks before the end of the course. The reminder will appear as follows: Thank you for teaching the offering _________. We appreciate all of the hard work and effort you have put forth in providing this learning opportunity. As you near the completion of this course, we want to remind you to make sure that you have finalized your end-of-course evaluation survey (through Key Survey) and are ready to launch and send it out to your participants on the last date of the course. Once your end of course survey has been completed by participants, you and your training partners need to take the time to access the data reports from the Key Survey system. These data, in combination with other sources of data, will be used to evaluate the current course offering so that continuous improvement efforts can be developed. For assistance with this evaluation activity, please visit the PD Evaluation Tools, Materials and Procedures link on our staff website. Go to - AEA Home Page Click on - Staff Website (top right-hand corner) Scroll Down to – Professional Development (left-hand column) Click on - PD Evaluation Tools, Materials and Procedures (bottom left-hand column) If you need any support with these actions, please feel free to contact our office. Thanks again! The Professional Development Team For Non-AEA Staff Led Offerings: It is the expectation that all instructors who are not AEA 267 staff will utilize the “Professional Learning Evaluation” available within their My267 course proposal. Once it is set up in the course proposal, this evaluation will be automatically available for participants once grades have been posted. The following pages outline how to view the Evaluation Summary within the My267 system. 64 My267 - TrueNorthLogic - Empower | Engage | Enlighten https://my.aea267.k12.ia.us/ia/tag.5182503df90fe654.render.userLayoutR... This is what sends the course and grade to a participant’s transcript. • If someone has a registration status other than completed, you must manually lock it by clicking on the lock icon. • Locking happens at an individual level, not a course level. All participants must be locked in order to finalize a course. • Once locked, you cannot make any more changes. If changes are necessary, you must contact PD. 3/3/2010 3:49 PM 4.
