The main scope of the company activities were the realization of national and
international trade with the military materials. Since the year 2000 is the company
in the possesion of the „Permit for the realization of the international trade with
the military materials“. At present the company is authorized to trade with the
wide spectre of the military sortiments including arms, weapons, big caliber
arms, ammunition, bombs, misiles, tank technics, toxicologic middles, aircrafts
and helicopters and all spareparts for the mentioned technics.The permit includes
the rights for the deliveries into 90 different countries on all continents.
A characteristic line of the international trade with the military material is majorly
the capability to ensure the deliveries either of single technic unit, or also of
complexe deliveries of relatively huge series in the requested quality, including
the diverse sets of spareparts for ensuring of the maintenance and repairs of the
technics.
Specific services will be provided by REAL TRADE PRAHA a.s. also for the museums
and collectors of the military technic, where the technic for that purposes will be
demilitarized fully in accord with the law prescriptions of the unique countries.
The main part of the offered technic arises from the equipment of the Czech
Republic army, and further the armies of Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia and others.

Main Battle Tank
The T-55A tank is a medium weight tracked combat vehicle equipped with a 100 mm
gun, an anti-aircraft machine gun of 12.7 mm calibre and two light machine guns of
7.62 mm calibre.
The T-55M is equipped with a few modernized means, i.e. a laser sight with 5 km range,
the KLADIVO firing control system, and an infrared rangefinder.

The VT-55 recovery tank is an armoured tracked vehicle designed to recover and tow
immobile tanks and other vehicles in different terrain conditions. The VT-55 is designed

BMP -1 with Turret DVK-30
Designation
The Turret DVK-30. Is designed for up – grading tracked and wheeled combat vehicles of ICV,
ICUFV, APC type (BMP–1, BTR–70, BTR–80, OT–64 etc...)
It is equipped with devices which correspond to contemporaneous combat requirements for
troops and crew protection, for reliable and accurate gun layingin any weather condition within
temperature range for -30° C up +50° C, day and night, while the vehicle is moving, with
s possibility to fire from guns which are mounted into a turret within limits of traverse of 360°
and elevation from -4° to + 58°.
Technical Description
The turret DVK-30 is modular, one-man turret consist of a weldment with external mounted
weapons, The turret combat compartment accommodates complete electric equipment for
laying and control functions of weapons, ammo magazines and a gunner´s seat. Weapons
and turret laying is done by means of drive units with a manual duplicity. For its high
effectiveness, good ballistic protection, modular concept and low weight, Turret COMBAT
represents optimum choice for armed forces worldwide.
– The armour plating provides a protection against bullets up to 14.5 mm caliber within
frontal arc and against bullets up to 7.62 mm caliber fires from any direction
– NBC protection is provided by means of turret fiber glass linings, internal overpressure and
filtro-ventilation unit
– The smoke protection is ensured by six smoke grenade launchers (of the 902 system)
positioned in a frontal part of the turret

The Armament and the Turret Control System
The armament includes the automatic gun 30 mm CZ30 or 2A42 with PKT machine – gun
(7.62 mm)mounted coaxial ly. The fire is controlled trough the gunner´s control panel. It is
possible to integrate the ATGM or AAGM, depending on customer ´s demands. In order to
aim the weapons, there is the modernized periscopic sight BPK- 2-42 with a swing of the
mirror from -6° up to 60°. The sight system is equipped with a night vision device.

and two ready-to-use ammunition magazines for the 14.5. mm machine gun are seated
on the bottom of the basket.

Infantry Carrier
MGC-14.5
Application of the turret. The MGC-14.5 turret is meant to replace the original BMP1 turret when converting the infantry fighting vehicle to the armoured personnel carrier.
It is virtually a modified BMP-1 turret which may be fitted to the vehicle in lieu of the
original turret. The modification includes replacement of the 73 mm cannon with a 14.5
mm machine gun. The cannon, ammunition conveyor, automatic loading mechanism
and ATGM launching and guiding system have been removed from the turret. As the
other components including controls have been retained, the logistic support and the
training of gunners are virtually identical to those of the BMP-1.
Brief technical description of the turret. The armament comprises an 14.5 mm
machine gun and a coaxial 7.62 mm machine gun. The 14.5 mm machine gun is
mounted on a cradle and the 7.62 mm machine gun is linked to it. The14.5 mm
machine gun ammunition magazine is also mounted on the cradle.
The turret is equipped with the 1 PN 22 M4 sight. It is a passive combined periscope sight
(for day and night observation). The elevation and traverse may be operated electrically
or manually. For electric operation there is a control panel situated in front of the gunner.
Manual control is performed by means of control hand wheels within the gunner’s reach.
The turret traverse may be locked during transport. The locking device is found left of
the gunner’s seat. The machine guns may be fired by means of the control panel or the
traverse/elevation mechanism control hand wheels.
The power system is a single-wire 24V DC with a ground negative pole. The turret
includes the control box and fuse box and terminal switches for limiting elevation and
depression of the armament. The turret is furnished with an Intercom box and a helmet
connector.
14.5 mm machine gun KPVT. The 14.5 mm machine gun is designed to engage
lightly armoured ground targets (armoured personnel carriers) with the centre of fire up
to 1 500 m and group targets up to 2 000 m. The machine gun uses back blow power
with the short recoil of the barrel.
7.62 mm machine gun PKT. The PKT 7.62 mm machine gun is designed to engage
ground group live targets and non-armoured targets up to 1 000 m. The machine gun
uses the pressure of the fire aftergases on a piston to reload.

The cone-shaped turret is made of welded armour steel. The roof includes a multiangular superstructure including a gunner’s hatch. There are four TNPO-170 periscopes
round the hatch allowing the crew to observe the vehicle’s neighbourhood. On the inside
of the roof there is a fan for fire aftergases.
The turret is seated on a ball bearing and carries a basket. The gunner’s seat, collector

Recovery Vehicle
The recovery vehicle is an amphibious tracked armoured unit mounted on the modified
chassis of the BMP carrier. It features high manoeuvrability and good travelling qualities
in heavy terrain.
After mounting a blade used as a support, it is used for the recovery of pieces of
armoured and mechanised units up to a weight of 15,000 kg with follow-up towing to
the repair site. It can also clear vehicle-blocked roads. The crew of three is capable of
providing basic and simple repairs in the field with the use of the vehicle’s multifunctional
equipment. For protection, the vehicle is equipped with a 7.62 mm machine gun

DANA-M1 CZ
EXCALIBUR ARMY spol. s r.o. has developed an upgraded type of the DANA 152 mm
Self Propelled Gun Howitzer vz. 77.
The implemented upgrade items keep the well established combat & service features of
the DANA system unchanged and at the same time transform the weapon into an up-todate and more powerful system.
The DANA-M1 CZ boasts an unbeatable rate of fire, greater firing accuracy, excellent
vehicle mobility and reliable operation of the system. All these qualities predestine the
DANA-M1 CZ Self Propelled Gun Howitzer to play a significant role in the modern era
of artillery support.
New fire control system
The solution includes a new, high-performance fire control system (FCS) that boosts the
combat efficiency of the system and at the same time simplifies its operation. The newly
developed solution of the FCS is based upon the use of state-of-the-art technologies
allowing the DANA-M1 CZ to be integrated into the C4I system.
The FCS enables:
– Maximum weapon autonomy.
– Minimum time required for taking the firing position and preparation for launch of fire.
– Increased fire accuracy.
– Easy execution of fire corrections.
– Easy aiming.
– Recording of firing missions.
– Increased battlefield effectiveness.
– Short time needed to engage target from an unprepared firing position.

The inertial topographical navigation
unit is mechanically linked to the barrel axis. This allows complicated and time consuming
topographical orientation of the gun to be skipped. The inertial topographical navigation
unit continuously transfers the current data on the system position and traverse and
elevation angles to the ballistic computer.

The ballistic computer
is the heart of the fire control system and conducts the following:
– It controls the Inertial topographical navigation unit through serial data communication.
– It creates fire missions including ammunition identification and target topographic identification.
– It enters all the data required to calculate fire elements.
The chassis upgrade
The upgrade of the chassis has resulted in substantially improved driving properties and
manoeuvrability of the vehicle.
The steering system has been modified and the TATRA-NORGEN shift-by-wire system has
been newly added. The T3-930 engine has also undergone a major upgrade; new turbochargers and an intercooler have been fitted which results in enhanced torque behaviour
and power curve.
Several modifications have been made to the cabin. The driver’s field of view has been
improved, the steering system and the driver’s instrument panel have been modified. New
seats and an independent air conditioning unit have been installed.
The vehicle has also been furnished with a new lightning system including a BLACKOUT
feature and a reverse camera.

2S1 Gvozdika 122 mm
A self-propelled gun-howitzer of 152 mm calibre, the vz. 77 DANA is a wheeled combat
vehicle equipped with gun of 152 mm calibre. The DANA is equipped with a weapon
system made up of a 12.7 mm machine gun, an ATG R/PG-75 rocket launcher, decontamination means and essential tools for the crew.
The 2S1 Gvozdika is a Soviet 122-mm self-propelled howitzer. It is essentially a version
of the MT-LB APC. “2S1” is its GRAU designation. The alternative Russian designation
is SAU-122 but in the Russian Army it is commonly known as Gvozdika (“Carnation”).
The self-propelled 152 mm gun-howitzer vz. 77 DANA – as well as the complete model,
we now also offer a chassis variation without armament or turret compartments.

RM-70 Multiple Rocket Launcher
The RM-70 multiple rocket launcher is a Czechoslovak army version and the heavier
variant of the BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher, providing enhanced performance
over its parent artillery system that was introduced in 1972.
It is designed to be used against manpower, firing devices, motorized infantry
arrangements, tanks and other combat vehicles.
The rocket launcher with loading device is placed on a special T-813 chassis. Sighting by

BRDM-2
152 mm towed howitzer D-20 is located on the uniaxial two-wheel chassis, with
a footprint of a double-arm mount. The modernized version is equipped with a feeder
hub, which allows to increase the rate of fire of 7-8 rounds / min and reduced operator
workload.
The BRDM-2 is an armored patrol car used by Russia and before that the Soviet Union.
It was also known under the designations BTR-40PB, BTR-40P-2 and GAZ 41-08. This
vehicle, like many other Soviet designs, has been exported extensively and is in use in at
least 38 countries. It was intended to replace the earlier BRDM-1 with a vehicle that had
improved amphibious capabilities and better armament.

Mechanical container workrooms are intended to provide service as well as more
extensive hardware repairs in the area of their usage. Loaded on the carrier, they can
serve for providing technical help in any place of defect or hardware damage. Standard
equipment allows to conduct basic locksmithery and assembly works including flame
welding and electric arc welding.
Full pontoon bridge set consists of 32 pieces of parts of river, coastal parts of 4 pieces,
4 pieces of trailers and vehicle plates 12 pieces of towed motor boats.
The selected types of wheeled or tracked hardware can be equipped by suites of special
products, for example a suite of universal products for tracked hardware repairs JEKUP.

MODERNIZATION
Forged Tracks
Semi-automatic Control
with Rubber Pads for BMP
for manual gearboxes BMP 1,2
Rubber pads for BMP track chains is a new upgrading item, suitable for infantry combat
vehicles and different vehicle modifications built on their chassis. Applying rubber pads
has a positive influence on driving quality, mainly on paved roads, which do not get
damaged by the tracks. Their design means that rubber pads can be applied both on
new and partially worn-out standard forged segments of BMP track chains. Usage of
rubber pads also reduces wear of metal track parts, thus improving the economy of
vehicle operation.
Upgrade package to “shift by wire“ technology is designed for installation on vehicles
BMP-1 and BMP-2 equipped with the original engine UTD-20. Manually operated
gear shifting mechanism is replaced by electro-pneumatic system, which continuously
monitors vehicle speed, engine speed and other driving conditions. Based on collected
data, system offers optimal gear and conducts shifting while the driver controls clutch
engagement. By continuous monitoring vehicle movement parameters, the GCU
(gearbox control unit) prevents mistaken gear selection and protects engine and gearbox
from damage caused by incorrect usage.
These rubber pads are designed for the standard shape of the forged segment of
the BMP track chain, and they meet the demanding criteria for BMP operation. Track
segments are modified for fixation of rubber pads made of special rubber developed for
this purpose. Forged segments are modified by means of modern technologies, which
together with a good quality mounting ensure high operating reliability with minimum
maintenance demands.
Long-term verification of track chain sets with rubber pads has shown that infantry
combat vehicles equipped with track chains with pads are able to manage even very
difficult terrain and fulfil set tasks without special limitations. Compared to vehicles
without pads, vehicles using tracks with rubber pads during operation achieve better
driving properties such as:
– Better manoeuvrability
– Better braking performance
– Lower noise during operation
– Significant reduction of vibrations during operation
The quality, reliability and service life of tracks with
segments fitted with rubber pads have been verified by
series of tests and especially by Czech units using BMP
within UN International Forces.

Extended Range Round
The extended range round DN1CZ is primarily intended
for weapon systems 152 mm SPGH DANA model 77 and
DANA-M1 CZ without the modification necessity of the system
of automatic loading. It is a separate loading munition,
consisting of the 152 mm OFdDV (HE ER BB) projectile and
the propelling charge P740. This ER round is intended for the
destruction of the enemy personnel, firepower, light combat
vehicles, buildings, observation points, trenches, obstacles
etc. up to the range of 25,500 m.

In the production plant of EXCALIBUR
ARMY spol. s r.o. in Šternberk are
performed especially repairs of military
technology, groups, subgroups and
spare parts including production and
modernization of military and special
vehicles. In the area of engineering is
realized the machining of weldments,
including assembly of higher units and
final products.
Repairs of Military Technology
The main production program is the ensuring of the life cycle of ground military and
special technology, ie. production, modernization and reconstruction, ensuring of
all levels of repairs until the eco-friendly disposal of the redundant technology. The
defectation, warranty and post warranty service, preservation and storage of the
technology are part of services. On customer´s request we can ensure the staff training
for operating, maintenance and repairs.
Production and Modernization of Military Technology
We ensure the production and modernization of military technology and materials on
customer´s request.
Engineering Production
The production focuses on parts of building, agriculture and other machines. On
customer´s request we are able to realize a single-part production according to supplied
documentation.
The technological equipment enables the preparation and dividing of materials, cutting
and bending of metal sheets, welding of parts and construction subgroups and groups,
machining on CNC machines, preparation and painting, pre-assembly, assembly,
testing and packaging of products.
The production plant of EXCALIBUR ARMY spol. s r.o. continues its more than sixty
years old tradition of repairs of special technology in Šternberk. The professional staff
and specialists with longtime experiences provide the service of military and special
technology not only in own country but also abroad.
Unique technological equipment, jigs and test equipments enable to ensure a complete
range of services and testing the ground technology.
