National Events: (all stage events have a 90 second time limit except for talent)
Beauty- Girls Beauty competition will be in a pageant style dress (it may be long or short). Boys Beauty
competition will be in a suit or tux. Wear what looks best on the contestant. The stage will be set up in a traditional
back T formation. We are looking for a total package contestant! A beautiful face, clothes that fit well, and a
wonderful personality. Age appropriate attire is important. Judging criteria will be as follows: Facial Beauty,
Personality, Stage Presence/Modeling and Overall Impression.
American Doll Wear: This is an anything goes event. Outfit must be red, white and/or blue. Be creative and
have fun with this event. May be costume, casual wear, sportswear, western wear, etc. Props are allowed as long
as they can be carried on/off the stage in 10 seconds. You may supply your own music or we will supply patriotic
music for you. BE CREATIVE!! Attire can be anything! There are NO restrictions. Judging criteria will be as
follows: Stage Presence, Personality, Creativity/Originality, and Overall Impression. This event can be Pro-Am or
casual wear modeling.
Optional Stage events
 Natural Beauty: Girls competition will be in a natural type dress such as a flower girl or baby doll type.
Boys competition will be in a Sunday type outfit. Nothing fake allowed except for a tan. No makeup on
ages 8 and under. Light makeup allowed for ages 9 and up. Natural hair style. Judging criteria will be
Facial Beauty, Personality, Stage Presence/Modeling and Overall Impression.
 Outfit of Choice (1 and 2): Attire is your choice: Swimwear, Casual wear, Sportswear, Western
wear, etc. Modeling style is also your choice: Pro-am or Casual. It is your choice so do what makes your
child comfortable. A selection of songs will be available for you to choose from for your event, or you may
bring your own. Judging criteria will be as follows: Stage Presence, Personality, Attire, and Overall
Impression.
 Talent: We will provide a hand held mic. If any other equipment is needed, you will need to supply.
Judging criteria will be as follows: Overall Impression, Stage Presence, Ability for Age, and Audience
Appeal. 3 minute time limit.
Optional Photo Events (Highest Score will be used for Supreme Titles)





Bring all photos to registration clearly marked with contestant’s name and age division. Please have
single photos in a plastic sleeve to protect the picture. All will be returned at the close of the pageant.
Glitz Photogenic: Judges will be looking for a color or black and white glitz head shot, 8 x 10 or 8 ½ x
11. This event will be judged on Overall Impression, Clarity, Facial Beauty, and Personality. Max 5
pictures can be turned in.
Natural Photogenic: Judges will be looking for a Natural head shot, 8 x 10 or 8 ½ x 11. This event
will be judged on Overall Impression, Clarity, Facial Beauty, and Personality. Max 5 pictures can be
turned in.
Composite: A composite is a collection of your favorite head shot photos and print model photos.
Judges will be looking for variety! Judging for this event will include Overall Impression, Quality, Variety
and Personality. Max 5 composites can be turned in.
Print Model: This should be a photo that you would find in a portfolio or an advertisement. Can be
indoor or outdoor, full length, 3/4 length, or close up. Judging for this event will be Overall Impression,
Clarity, Personality, and Creativity. Max 5 pictures can be turned in.
Stage Shot: This should be a photo taken onstage at any pageant. Judging for this event will include
Overall Impression, Personality, Clarity and Creativity. Max 5 pictures can be turned in.
Awards
 Ultimate Grand Supreme
Ultimate Grand Supreme will be awarded to the one contestant that has the highest total score in beauty, 1 photo
event, and 1 stage event. Winner will receive $2,500 CASH and custom Rhinestone crown and sash.
 Grand Supremes 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, 13-up
Grand Supreme will be awarded to those who have the next highest total score in beauty, 1 photo event, and 1
stage event. Winners will receive $1,000 CASH and custom Rhinestone crown and sash.
 Mini Supremes 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, 13-up
Mini Supreme will be awarded to those who have the next highest combined scores from beauty, 1 photo event,
and 1 stage event. Winners will receive $500 CASH and custom Rhinestone crown and sash.
 America’s Darling Doll Supreme 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, 13-up
This title will be awarded to the contestants with the highest combined scores in Beauty and American Doll Wear.
Winners will receive $400 CASH and custom Rhinestone crown and sash.
 Ultimate Beauty Supremes 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, 13-up
Ultimate Beauty Supreme will be awarded to those who have the highest scores in the beauty event. Winners will
receive $300 CASH and custom Rhinestone crown and sash.
 Super Novice Grand Supreme/Novice Grand Supreme/Pro Grand Supreme 0-5, 6-up
The Super Novice title will be awarded to the contestants that have never won any money at a pageant. The
Novice title will be awarded to the contestants that have never won more than $250 at one time for one title (not
including photo contest) in the last 2 years. The Pro title will be awarded to the contestants that have won more
than $250 at one time for one title (not including photo contest) in the last 2 years. These titles will be awarded to
those who have the next highest total score in beauty, 1 photo event, and 1 stage event. Winners will receive
$100 CASH and custom Rhinestone crown and sash.
 Grand Talent 0-5, 6&Up
This title will be awarded to the contestants with the highest talent score. Winners will receive $100 CASH and
custom Rhinestone crown and sash.
 America’s Beautiful Face 0-5, 6&Up
This title will be awarded to the contestants with the highest Facial Beauty score. Winners will receive $100 CASH
and custom Rhinestone crown and sash.
 Beauty/Photo Supreme 0-5, 6&up
This title will be awarded to the contestants with the highest combined scores in Beauty and 1 photo event.
Winners will receive $100 CASH and custom Rhinestone crown and sash.
 Supermodel Supreme 0-5, 6&up
This title will be awarded to the contestants with the highest combined scores in 2 stage events (not Beauty
Event). Winners will receive $100 CASH and custom Rhinestone crown and sash.
 Personality Supreme 0-5, 6&up
This title will be awarded to the contestants with the highest personality scores in 2 stage events (not Beauty
Event). Winners will receive $100 CASH and custom Rhinestone crown and sash.
 Photo Supreme 0-5, 6&up
This title will be awarded to the contestants with the highest combined scores in 2 photo events. Winners will
receive a $100 CASH and custom Rhinestone crown and sash.
 12 Divisional Grand Supreme Queens
There will be a Divisional Supreme Queen crowned in each age group. This will be the contestant with the highest
score in Beauty, 1 photo event, and 1 stage event. Winners will receive a custom Rhinestone crown and sash.
 12 Divisional Novice Supreme Queens
This title will be awarded to the contestants that have never won more than $250 at one time for one title (not
including photo contest) in the last 2 years. Novice Supreme Queens will be awarded to those who have the next
highest total score in beauty, 1 photo event, and 1 stage event. Winners will receive a custom Rhinestone crown
and sash.
 12 Divisional Beauty Queen
There will be a Beauty Queen crowned in each age group. This will be the contestant with the highest score in the
Beauty competition. Winners will receive a custom Rhinestone crown and sash.
POSTER CONTEST!
Glitz Photo, Natural Photo, Print Model, Stage Shot
This National Poster Contest is for contestants in the pageant. Categories are Glitz Photo, Natural Photo, Print
Model and Stage Shot. The Winner for each contest will have their picture blown up poster size and displayed
in front of the judge’s table for the entire weekend. Price is $20 for the first photo, $5 for each additional photo.
Please be sure to let us know which category the photo is for when you enter.

1. No bad sportsmanship allowed.
2. Stage will be in a T formation with 3 x’s across the back and one at the front. There will be a line up before
beauty stage competition. No line up in other events.
3. You compete in the age group of your age as of January 1, 2015. You may move up a group if you wish.
4. No checks accepted at the door or 2 weeks prior to pageant date.
5. PayPal payments made the day of the pageant or 2 weeks before pageant date will result in monies won paid back
through PayPal.
6. VISA and MASTERCARD accepted through Paypal. Paypal address: [email protected] . Paypal
payments must have a 4% fee added to them. If not, you will be charged at registration.
7. There are no refunds on deposit unless pageant is cancelled.
8. Any deposit not used for this year’s pageant will be credited towards pageant fees at next year’s pageant. A
deposit for next year’s pageant will still be required. Money is only credited for one year.
9. Everyone must be pre-registered. This also helps us make sure there are plenty of gifts to go around.
10. Age groups are never combined. If an age group reaches a large number of contestants, we will consider splitting.
No guarantees.
11. Pageant normally runs on time. Please cooperate with us to help make the pageant run smoothly. A final
schedule will be given out at registration. Please be on time for each event. If you are not in line when your
name is called, you will have to compete at the end of the group and points may be deducted from each judge. We
will never start an event early unless everyone is lined up.
12. There is a time limit of 1 ½ minutes for all stage events. When your time is up, the contestant will be thanked and
should exit the stage. There will be NO DEDUCTIONS if the contestant has not finished their routine.
13. Contestants 2 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult during line-up. No exceptions.
14. No cameras of any kind will be allowed in the ballroom. A Professional Photographer & Videographer will be on
hand for stage shots and videos. All Queens will be required to stay after crowning for group and individual
pictures for next year’s promotional materials.
15. Crowning will be in official DDA t-shirt. Bottoms can be white or denim.
16. All Diamonds and Pearls Royalty are eligible to compete in Darling Dolls of America Nationals. This is a
separate system and will be treated as such.
17. All Previous royalty can re-compete except 2014 Ultimate Grand Supreme, Allison Tucker, and Grand Supremes:
Aniston Howard, Landree Douglas, Zoey Brewer, Kerigan Sanders, and Maddie Cummins.
18. Judges decisions are final.
19. Your contestant’s social security number must be on file with the pageant office before any money can be given
to your contestant. This rule is from our accountant, not us!
20. Must have 75 full paying contestants to award full cash.
