HEARING PROTECTION
Elvex Level Dependent muff uses the same technical
components and features (including impulse filter) as Elvex
Com-550, but the electronics is tuned for continuous
industrial noise, and the muff is a non foldable construction.
•The communications features allow you to have close range communications in select continuous noise environments. The microphones on the outside of the ear muffs “listen to” the environment and can amplify weak sounds, and the gain limiter suppresses sounds exceeding 82 dB. Frequencies below 400 Hz and above 4,000 Hz are not processed and therefore the speech to noise ratio can be improved in many continuous noise environments.
•An impulse (or impact) filter electronically eliminates impulse sounds by closing down the circuitry in four milliseconds, and opening the circuitry again in about 1/4
second (in order to prevent echo effect). This feature makes Elvex Impulse hearing protection very effective on the shooting range. The gun shots are eliminated, but the shooting instructor can still be heard.
• An audio jack (3.5mm jack) for connection of radios is standard. This jack will provide listen-only capability (not two way communications). You can hear both the auxiliary device and Com-655.
• Com-655 uses two 1.5 Volt AAA batteries. Batteries are
included. The headset will operate for approximately 175 hours on one set of batteries, under normal circumstances. Reception is stereophonic.
• An auto off switch will turn off the headset after four hours of continuous use, in order to conserve battery use.

The Kasco K80S-T8 helmet system is a versatile, battery-powered assembly that provides respiratory protection against pesticides and herbicides. The 6-volt

Helmet features include a flip-up visor and a tough polyurethane coated shell. Inside the helmet is an adjustable headband which fits all head sizes, and has plenty

It is important to follow instructions supplied with each face piece and filter as well as following regulations for the specific
environment where the respiratory equipment is to be used.
When selecting filter devices it is necessary to consider a series of factors which cannot be set beforehand.
The intended application, the concentration of contaminate, the temperature, the smell threshold., the user peculiarities are only
a few of the elements that should be considered for correct selection.
The “Table for the selection of filters” is a good guideline but considers only the substance to be protected against. If the user is

Respirators with Filters MUST ONLY be used in situations where the oxygen concentration in the air is not less than 17%
volume. When such concentration is not met (which is often the case with heavy gases, in vats, reservoirs and pits and other
confined spaces) the use of filter respirators is NOT PERMITTED and one should use air fed isolating respirators.
In situations where odourless and tasteless substances are known or suspected, such as carbon monoxide(CO), use air fed
respiratory protection only.

Duo is a professional, durable and
decontaminable face-piece ideal
for handling dangerous chemical
substances, toxic gases, solvents
and dusts and for spray painting. Duo
is suitable for use in chemical and
pharmaceutical companies, in agriculture
and in ore mining. The faceblank is made
of moulded rubber anatomically shaped
and adapts itself to any face without
vexatious pressure. The head harness
is made of elasticted webbing band
fitted with a plastic bow for the nape of
the neck. The inhale and exhale valve
seats are integral with the faceblank.
The exhalation valve, made of rubber , is
protected with forechamber cover. The
filter connectors are made in a shock
resistant plastic material.

Duetta is a low cost, maintenance
free face piece, ideal for use in
spray painting, crops spraying and
in the handling of chemicals. The
faceblank is made of composite
material. A soft cushion rests
comfortably on the face while the
rigid shell holds the filters and
the all functional parts and evenly
distributes the weight. The head
harness is made of an elasticated
webbing band fitted with a plastic
bow for the nape of the neck. The
inhale and exhale valve seats are
integral with the faceblank.

DUPLA
Full face mask with bellow like ergonomic, seal edge, fits perfectly to every face shape avoiding uncomfortable pressures. The Panoramic visor ensures a clear and optically correct sight throughout.
Masks are designed for easy maintenance and made of non-toxic materials. TR2002 are available in
two different models:
TR2002CL2Dupla: - Molded in thermoplastic rubber and provided with a polycarbonate visor.
CE certified to EN136:98 as a class 2 mask.
TR2002CL3: - Molded in EPDM or silicone and provided with a scratch and solvent resistant
polycarbonate visor. CE certified to EN136:98 as a class 3 mask.
The TR2002 CL2 and TR2002 CL3 masks have a standard connector EN148/1 and therefore can
be used with all breathing devices which have the same male connection. (e.g: Gas and Particulate
screw filters).
These masks can also be used in conjunction with DUPLA adaptor which, when fitted, allows the use
of Spasciani twin cartridge series Blue Line.

We have a selection of eyewear to suit different applications
and hazards, plus the many different face shapes and comfort
requirements. It is important to choose the correct eye
protection and shade for the hazard the wearer is faced with. A
range of goggles are also available, including welding shades in
this section.
LENSES
Lenses are manufactured from polycarbonate, with other
features added, for example hard-coat for scratch resistance,
colour tints, anti-fog, anti-static. The polycarbonate lenses offer 99% protection from natural UV light, some spectacles are
marked UV400, this provides 100% UV protection. Infra red
shades, these are recommended for Gas welding as they protect
the eyes from infared light. Available also in Goggles.

High Temperature Fabrics
Weld-O-Glass fabrics are used to protect equipment and personnel near hazardous operations, such as welding, flame
cutting, grinding or spraying. The Weld-O-Glass family of fabrics is made up of fibreglass and silica materials with varying
working temperatures depending on the blanket selected.
NB: Temperature ratings are based on recommended usages and presented without guarantee or responsibility on our
or the manufacturer part. Data sheets on blankets are available on request. The manufacturer recommends the use of
the welding blankets in multiple layers to attain proper molten metal and radiant heat protection. Blankets are hemmed

Flame Resistant (FR) clothing helps protect workers from burns caused by two types
of workplace hazard: Electric Arc Flashes and Flash Fires.
When electricity flows from one point to another through the air as a result of an
arc fault (e.g., accidental discharge), an electric arc flash occurs- and it is every bit as
dangerous as lightening!
An arc Flash can reach temperatures of 20,000C four times hotter than the sun
and can vaporise metals ignite clothing and cause severe or fatal burns to workers
at a distance of over 3 meters.
What is a flash fire?
A flash fire is a sudden and intense fire caused by the ignition of flammable gases, liquids, or solids –including
dusts. Typically flash fires last less than 3 seconds but are characterised by extremely high temperatures up
to 2000C Flash fires are most common in work areas where flammable materials are handled, processed
or stored and the size and duration of a flash fire is generally determined by the amount of fuel available, the
efficiency of combustion and the environment and physical characteristics of the flash fire site.
FR Clothing
Flame Resistant Clothing helps protect workers from burns caused by electric arc flashes and flash fires.
Clothing made from most non FR fibres will continue to burn once ignited. In contrast FR worker wear is
especially designed to self extinguish within two seconds after the source of ignition is removed- thereby limiting
the workers degree of burns and body burn percentage.
The difference is often a matter of LIFE and DEATH

RED WING CARE PRODUCT
Boots that are designed and built for rugged, wet or rough work environments require personal attention and proper boot
care. The long term life and daily comfort of your footwear will be prolonged by taking a few valuable minutes to apply the
proper boot maintenance. Your boots and your feet will feel the difference. The three easy but important steps are as
follows:
1. CLEAN: Boots made of waterproof leather should only be cleaned with warm water and a stiff bristle brush. For suedes
and roughouts, the suede cleaner bar can be used to remove dirt and retain nap. Other leathers can be cleaned with Red
Wing Leather Cleaner in order to remove excess dirt, waxes and other abrasive materials on the leather.
2. CONDITION: The finish of your boot can determine which conditioner to use. Here are some rules of thumb. On oiltanned leathers, either Boot Oil, Leather Conditioner or Mink Oil can be used. On dry-tanned leathers, we recommend
Silicone products. Silicone products may also be used on suedes and roughout leathers so that it will not matte the desired
appearance. During the waterproof tanning processes, our waterproof leathers are impregnated with conditioners at
the time of tanning. Red Wing Mink Oil is the only approved care product to recondition these leathers. However, a small
amount of Silicone can be occasionally applied to darken leathers based on personal preferences.
Hold each boot upside down for each application. Apply Red Wing conditioning products as specified by “Dressing” in the
footwear sections. Notice that liquid and paste soaks into the leather immediately, especially if the leather is old, worn or
dry. DO NOT HEAT. Use an old toothbrush to make sure you have adequate coverage of the dressing in close areas where
your fingers cannot reach: welts, seams, gusset closures, around hardware. Let boots stand for a few minutes and apply a
second coat if required.
3. PROTECT: The final step is to add extra protection and help preserve your footwear investment with Red Wing Leather
Protector. This special non-aerosol liquid adds a layer of protection to keep the conditioner in the leather and the water, dirt,
oil and mud out. Simply apply the Leather Protector to the entire boot, including the fabric, if any.
