Seventh Annual Concerto Scholarship Competition
(2014-2ALs)
This competition is open to flutists ages 14-18 as of January 15, 2015.
Required repertoire: oae movement of any flute concerto arranged for flute solo or
piccolo solo and flute choir, unless otherwise noted on the repertoire page. Examples
zuggested repertoire are onthe next page.

To enter, send a high quality CD consisting of the required repertoire played by the flutist
with piano accompaniment, plus the audition fomt, photolvideo release form and a
$25.00 non-refundable audition fee to:

Taped auditions

be evaluated and the semi-finalists
will
be chosen and notified
by January 20,2015.
Semi-finalists will perfomr the required repertoire, with accompanist, before a panel
ofjudges January 31,2015 at 10:00AM at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church. Each
semi-finalist must provide his&er own accompanist. One winner will be chosen.
The winner will rehearse his/her repertoire with the Woodbridge Flute Choir and will
perform as a featured performer in Woodbridge Flute Choir's Sunday, March 22,
2015 concert at Greenwich Presbyterian Church, 15305 Vint HillRd, Nokesville, VA
20181. The concert will be held at 3:00PM.
The Grand Prize Winner will receive a $500 scholarship prue.
