We would like to welcome you to our annual auction and dinner, “Springtime Jubilee.”
We are very grateful for your attendance and support. Without you, our mission to provide
excellent Christian education would be impossible. The Cedar Park Christian schools
located in Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace strive to provide students with excellent
academic training combined with biblical world views. We work hard to develop wholesome
godly character in every student. Our teachers are committed to Christian education and to
creating the very best learning environment for each student.
Christian education does make a difference in our world! As your children and teenagers
become young adults, they will have many opportunities to change their world and influence
those around them. The moral character and academic training provided to your children
today will shape the decisions they make tomorrow. That is why Christian education is so
important. We partner with you to bring out the very best in your children. Building
excellence in academics, shaping steadfast godly character in your children, and building
strong moral foundations for a better future – your Cedar Park teachers are committed to this
goal.
Only through your ongoing prayer support and financial support can we continue to meet
these objectives. Tonight, as you look at the many auction items you see before you, please

Good evening and Welcome to all of you:
Once again we have the honor of being with you as parents and supporters of Christian
Education. It is always such a wonderful experience to see God working in each moment of
our lives.
We have an opportunity here, as a parent, teacher, administrator, not an obligation, to
experience God’s overwhelming power and majesty in our everyday life, and to pass that on
to our fellow workers, our kids and our Cedar Park family. God has called us here, all of us.
To witness, to rebuild the country, the church, His Kingdom, that we call Cedar Park
Christian School, Mountlake Terrace.
I would like to take this time to thank you for your support for Christian Education. Having
had three kids here myself, I know the struggle and sacrifice, you all make. But also I know
the rewards of having well prepared children go on to their next task, and to be successful.
So thank you for your commitment, to God, and allowing us to partner with you in educating
your young adults.
This Cedar Park Christian School is becoming one of the best (if not the best) Christian
Schools in the state of Washington. Our school is held in high regard in our homes and
community. Our children are blessed to be in this environment learning together, as are
faculty and all who invest their time to Cedar Park and Christian Education. It is a pleasure
to be amongst this entire collection of strong Christians.
With the recent events happening in our nation, and around the world really, it’s so very
refreshing to have a Biblical world view. God is in control. He has a plan and were all part
of it. We trust in Jesus to guide our every step in this school. That includes how we handle
our finances, relationships, teaching and modeling excellent Christian behaviors to your
children.
So enjoy this evening, pray together, laugh and rejoice together. Enjoy the presence of the
Holy Spirit.

These items are available in limited quantities, and
are for sale at a fixed price until we run out of them. You’ll find a
separate table for the store just inside the main gym entrance.
To purchase one of these items, just write your bid number on a
space on the bid page for the item you want. The number of spaces
on the page indicates the number of available items. Once
the page is filled, the store is sold out.

We have an exceptional selection of desserts for your enjoyment this
evening! You can browse the delectable dishes prior to dinner and
determine your favorite choices.
Using the bid sheet located in the middle of the table, each person
at your table can enter the amount they would like to bid for the
privilege of priority choice of our desserts this evening. Each table’s
bids will be totaled, and the highest bidding table will be called first
to head to the dessert table for their choice of dessert. The second
highest bidding table is called second, and so on.
When your table number is called, please proceed to the dessert
table and collect your favorite dessert! Be sure to have your choice
in mind, because the numbers will be called at short intervals.
Desserts go out to the first one to get there.

General Auction Rules
REGISTRATION
1.
All bidders must register. You will be given a bid number to use for all bidding throughout the
evening. No cash will be accepted for purchases during the evening. One number will be issued
per family.
2. Your signature on the registration form constitutes a legal contract to buy any item upon
which your number is the successful bid.
3. The fair market value for the dinner ticket is $25.00. The remainder of the purchase price may
be tax-deductible – please check with your tax advisor.
4. QUICK CHECK: Sit back and enjoy your evening with no waiting in lines! Simply present your
credit card for imprint when you register. At the end of the evening, your purchases will be
totaled and you will be charged the final amount. You will receive your receipts and gift
certificates during the Live Auction. At the end of Live Auction, you will simply need to collect
any tangible items you have won in the Silent Auction.

Payment may be made by cash, check, VISA or MasterCard. Payment in full is due by the
close of the evening. Please pay only once after all of your bidding is completed.
All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds on items unless otherwise noted.
Values on items are listed prices as stated by donors.
Restaurant meals do not include alcoholic beverages, tax or gratuity unless indicated.
Reservations for trips, vacations and tickets to performances must be mutually arranged with
the donor.
All items and services must be claimed and used by expiration date noted by the donor or one
year from the date of purchase. For services purchased, we ask that you contact the donor
within 2 weeks after the Auction to inform the donor of your name and possible time the
services will be used.
Cedar Park Christian Schools has attempted to describe and catalog all items correctly, but all
property is sold “as is” and CPCS neither warrants nor represents, and shall in no event be
responsible for the correctness of descriptions, authenticity, authorship, provenance or condition
of the property. No statement contained in this catalog or made orally at the sale or elsewhere
shall be deemed as such as a warranty, representation or assumption of liability.
In accordance with IRS regulations, all “priceless” items have been assigned a fair market value.
This value will appear on the bidder’s statement for all items purchased.
Cashiering will not open until 8:00 p.m. on the night of the Auction. Please pay for your
purchases after that time.
Every attempt has been made to be accurate in recording restrictions and expiration dates on
certificates and in the catalog. In the event of a misprint, the donor’s information will stand.
SILENT AUCTION
1.
Write your bid number in the space of the price you wish to pay. You may skip spaces to reach
a higher amount.
2. Guaranteed bid boxes are available at the bottom of some bid sheets for anyone willing to
pay the designated amount over of the stated value. This portion above the stated value may
be tax-deductible - please check with your tax advisor.
3. The Silent Auction sections will close at 5:45, 6:15, and 6:35 p.m. All bidding is over at the
announcement of closing and no more writing is allowed.
4. In the event of a dispute, bidders must abide by the decision of the auction officials.

505 All About Horses Class for Ages 6-13 Monday April 1, 2013 (Easter Break)
STORE ITEM: Horse trainer/instructor and national level judge Sue Muir will teach up to 15 children
ages 7-13 the basics about horses, including demonstrations on riding, horse handling and grooming,
plus teaching about equipment, basic needs of the horse and other horse facts. Class participants will
have a photo taken with a horse while sitting on a saddle (saddle will be on a saddle rack, not a
horse). Students must remain quiet and still for the photo. Photos will be emailed if an address is
provided. The class will meet at Lord Hill Stables near Monroe at 12:45 PM on Monday, April 1
(during Easter Break). Class will begin at 1:00. At 3:00 we will break for a snack. After the snack,
class will resume until 4:45 PM. Child must be accompanied by an adult. One adult may accompany
up to four children.

Packet! It includes 1 Tardy Pass, 1 Chapel Dress Code Violation Pass, 1 Park Out Front Pass, 1 Hat
Pass, and 1 Homework Extension Pass. Limit 1 of each pass to be used per semester.
Restrictions: Student must be in good standing. Chapel Dress Pass - students may not violate standard school dress
code. Homework pass may not be used for tests, projects, or major reports. Hat pass not allowed on chapel day
and must meet approval of principal and teachers. Tardy pass does not excuse student from turning homework in on
