The Squadron Adop0on Program was created as a forum for the community to interact with Sheppard AFB permanent party. Since it began, the program has grown to over 50 Many thanks to SMAC friends from Frederick, Oklahoma! During the SMAC delegation’s meeting with Senator Cornyn, two of his staffers, Dave Hanke and Warren Bruce, took the information What’s on the horizon… regarding the criticality of the radar to the ENJJPT flying mission for action. They contacted Oklahoma Senator Inhofe’s staff and expressed the national security importance of the radar. Senator Inhofe and his staff concurred and the radar is now a high visibility subject for Senator Inhofe’s office. and look forward to a strong, long-‐las0ng rela0onship!
