Here at Sir William Robertson Academy we encourage all our pupils to ASPIRE in many
different ways. One of these ways is by reading regularly and we encourage wider reading
throughout Key Stage 3.

The school library offers a wealth of reading materials to support all areas of the curriculum as well as encouraging the pleasures or reading.

Library skills are delivered within the first few weeks in Year 7 and one of the main features
is the encouragement and joys of reading whether it is fiction or non-fiction, either by losing oneself in another world or finding information on a particular interest/hobby.
